Multiple reviews describe the property as immaculate, airy and very clean (e.g., 'Immaculate, airy, clean'), indicating a high standard of cleanliness.

• Servicio9,5

Consistently praised staff: very polite, helpful, fluent English in places, attentive greetings from management and excellent customer service across reviews.

• Ubicación8,9

Generally positive: near bus stops and at the entrance to Kurokawa Onsen (convenient), though noted as not on the main street (quiet, slightly off the center).

• Habitaciones7,8

Mixed to negative notes: some rooms lack a private shower, toilet flushing was reported as poor, wood furniture/chairs appear a bit old, occasional cold at night and footsteps heard from upper floors.

• Instalaciones9,2

Strong onsen and spa offerings (outdoor/indoor baths, sauna, beautiful communal spaces and garden views). One safety/maintenance note about slippery bath floors.

Mixed impressions: several guests praised high cost-performance, while at least one review explicitly called the ryokan 'very expensive' — overall slightly below target.

Food widely praised: multiple mentions of excellent dinner and breakfast and refined meals; a minor suggestion for slightly more sweetness in desserts.

• Experiencia general9,0

Overall very positive: tranquil, restorative ryokan experience with many guests saying they'd return and praising the atmosphere, service and onsens.
