The popularity of Dubrovnik, its massive city walls and its cultural heritage is gaining even more popularity as the city has been used as a set for The Game of Thrones series and Star Wars VIII.

Before returning to Split, make a short stop in Ston, a historic town known for its impressive medieval fortifications, saltworks, and long tradition of oyster farming.

Take a break, explore the area, and discover one of the local specialties before continuing your journey back to Split.

   Fort Lovrijenac or St. Lawrence Fortress, often called "Dubrovnik's Gibraltar", is a fortress and theater outside the western wall of the city of Dubrovnik in Croatia.
