Una casa preciosa que respeta el estilo rural de las alpujarras sin renunciar a la comodidad.

+ Capileira, para mi, es el pueblo mas bonito de las alpujarras. La casa de arriba es espectacular, no le falta un detalle, tiene hasta unos prismáticos y un telescopio. La cocina perfectamente equipada, las camas son muy cómodas. Das Beste el gran ventanal del salón y la terraza que te permite disfrutar la belleza de las montañas. Alicia muy amable nos dejó hasta una botella de vino. La recomiendo 100%.

− Todas las habitaciones están en la planta alta, lo que te permite disfrutar de unas vistas preciosas, pero el unico baño se encuentra en la planta baja, es lo único incomodo aunque a nosotros no nos importo mucho comparando con las ventajas del resto de la casa.

+ Tiene unas vistas preciosas , el.etorno tranquilo, la amabilidad de Alicia hemos estado en plena ola de calor y la cerveza fresquita y jarras congeladas que nos encontramos nos supieron a gloria un detallazo para agradecer.. volveremos seguro

Wochenende fantástico

+ La casa está genial, muy pintoresca y con una terraza y unas vistas que son una maravilla. Las habitaciones muy cómodas y a la cocina no le falta de nada. Alicia es una anfitriona fantástica, te ayuda en todo lo que necesites. Pese a ubicarse en un entramado de calles peatonales, tiene un parking público gratuito muy cercano.

+ Las vistas de la terraza y la chimenea

− La limpieza, el control de los radiadores, estaban bloqueados y no poTags regularlos tú mismo. Y encontramos algunas cositas rotas que se podrían arreglar como los cubos de la basura, el de la cocina estaba la tapa rota, y el del baño tenía donde se pisa con el pie un pincho hacia arriba de hierro que si pisas y no te das cuenta te lo clavas, también renovaría la cubertería y utensilios para cocinar.

¡Increíble!

+ En general la casa es una pasada. La ubicación, las vistas… y luego, lo cuidada que está, calentita, tan bonita decorada. La ventana panorámica a Sierra Nevada, a los pueblos vecinos… increíble, de verdad, Qué gusto despertar y poder disfrutar de esas vistas!!! En la cocina hay todo tipo de utensilios, menaje… y electrodomésticos. Muy, muy completa. Y el detallazo de la cerveza en el frigorífico, y ¡las tazas en el congelador!!! Qué DETALLAZO. Merece la pena Capileira, Casa de Arriba y pasar unos Tags por la Alpujarra, disfrutando de los paisajes, comidas y buena gente que habita allí. Gracias Alicia. Ha sido un auténtico placer conocer tu casita.

Sweet casa with amazing view

+ The casa was very comfortable and immediately felt like home. The kitchen was very well equipped, everything was spotless and well maintained, and the view from the balcony was absolutely amazing!

− Access from the parking area to the casa can be difficult when carrying luggage, as the road is quite steep. This may be inconvenient, especially for guests with accessibility or mobility limitations. Also, the casa is arranged over two floors: the bathroom and toilet are downstairs, while the main living area is upstairs, so this is worth considering before booking.

+ The view from the windows and the terrace is simply breathtaking — mountains, the valley, and a deep sense of silence that invites you to slow down and just be. Every morning began with light and the feeling of being in a truly special place. The village itself is incredibly charming, with narrow streets, white houses, and a peaceful, authentic Andalusian atmosphere. A special thank you to the host — extremely kind, responsive, and genuinely caring about our comfort. We felt like welcomed guests, not just another reservation.

Todo perfecto.

+ Todo perfecto: la ubicación, la casa, las vistas, todo muy limpio y bien equipado. Nos dio mucha pena no poder firmar el libro de visitas porque no llevábamos boli.

− La única pega que podría ponerle es que los colchones no son demasiado cómodos, pero se puede dormir y descansar sin problema.

Encanto alpujarreño con vistas espectaculares.

+ La Casa de Arriba es un lugar precioso, con la auténtica arquitectura alpujarreña que le da un encanto especial. Todo estaba muy limpio y cuidado, la ropa de cama y las toallas eran estupendas. Las vistas son simplemente increíbles, perfectas para disfrutar del entorno. La comunicación y el trato con la anfitriona fue excelente en todo momento, lo que hizo la estancia aún más agradable. Sin duda, una experiencia muy recomendable y una casa a la que volveríamos encantados ❤️

− Las mosquiteras estaban todas rotas y hace muchísimo calor dentro durante el Tag. Se notaba que estaba tiempo cerrada por todas las telarañas que limpiamos.

+ Alles in allem unschlagbar schön! Das Haus ist der Hit und der Ort sehr schön! Wer wandern will ist hier genau richtig. Vermieterin sehr nett und bemüht! Wir hatten zwei wunderschöne Wochen! Parkplätze findet man..aber wer eine schöne Aussicht haben will..muss auch steigen! Die Terrasse ist so schön! Uns hat der Kinderspielplatz nicht gestört,war niedlich und hat Leben gebracht!

Nice place to relax and enjoy the mountains

+ We spent 4 nights at Casa de Arriba in early March 2025. We enjoyed the place. The terrace with the view of the mountains and the valley is awesome. The kitchen has everything including a nice dishwasher and washing machine. The WLAN is excellent. We did hiking from the apartment toward the ghost village of Cebadilla (a 3-hour loop from the apartment) and visited Trevelez by car. If you have mobility issues, the Casa de Arriba and the village of Capileira are not for you. Parking: Free municipal parking is about 150 meters from the apartment. it is easy to access by car at the entrance of the village. The parking has 2 levels (upper level is not available on Tuesdays for the market and lower level is available 24/7). The are many restaurants within walking distance of the apartment and food stores. In the valley, in my opinion, Capileira is the nice village as compare to Bubion and Pampaneira.

An amazing, beautiful place!

+ Alicia was welcoming and helpful but we felt our privacy was well respected. The view from the property was just stunning. The accommodation was well equipped and it felt like home. We really enjoyed our time here.

− It wasn't a big issue but the bathroom was downstairs, the ceiling above the steps was quite low, so you need to be careful especially when you're half asleep..

An exceptional place to stay

+ What an incredible view from the balcony! Perfectly located and easy access to eating places and walks. Everything you needed was provided. Easy to checkin as well. Capileira was a perfect starting point for a number of walks and such a beautiful village.

− More light over the dining table would be helpful

A lovely house with stunning views from the private terrace.

+ Casa de Arriba is fantastic. The obvious attraction is the private terrace with panoramic views across the barranco de Poqueira and beyond. However the house itself is really attractive and includes a fully equppied kitchen, large bathroom, lots of comfortable seating and dining spaces. There's even a telescope. On arrival there were chilled beers and water waiting in the fridge. Perfect. A brilliant choice of accommadation for almost anyone.

+ Great host. Very helpful, with the rooms being very clean. Fantastic location with beautiful views down the Valley and a lovely, quaint traditional Spanish village. Lighting in the rooms was great with enough shade to keep cool. Easy parking on the main road, with spaces always avaliable. Overall, amazing place to stay in the Sierra Nevada Park (only 30 min away from the car park for Mulhacen), with lovely views! Would rebook
