+ Nos encantó la casa, los servicios que presta. Está completamente equipada. Presta a desconectar y descansar. Si te gusta la naturaleza y el silencio es el sitio idóneo

+ La casa es estupenda, no falta nada. Sobre todo una decoración muy bonita. Está muy cuidada y pensada en la comodidad del huésped. Recomendada 100%

− La bajada/acceso a la casa es un poquito complicada, pero no es un problema para la estancia. Un 10!!!

+ Traditionell gomerisches Häuschen mit ganz wundervollem und privat nutzbarem Terrassen- und Gartenbereich. Liebevoll gepflegt. Ebenso im Inneren viele Pflanzen und individuelle Einrichtung. Nette kleine Aufmerksamkeiten zum Empfang, die das Ankommen versüßt haben. Ruhige Lage, am Ende einer Privatstraße, mit Blick ins Weite.

− Wir hatten während unseres Aufenthaltes leider etwas Wetterpech. Aufgrund der Höhe des Ortes kam es häufiger vor, dass wir in der Wolke steckten: Dadurch war es im Haus recht kalt und feucht, insbesondere mit Baby war dies nicht optimal. In der Unterkunft waren allerdings Heizungen, Entlüfter sowie eine Kamin in der Küche vorhanden, mit denen man etwas entgegenwirken konnte. Dies ist insbesondere in den Wintermonaten zu beachten.

+ Maravillosa casa en un entorno idílico, rodeados de vegetación y de un exhuberante jardín cuidado con mucho mimo. La casa cuenta con todo lujo de detalles y la anfitriona super atenta. Un lujo de estancia. Volveremos!

+ Property was very clean, well organized, and surrounded by beautiful flowers and a great view. Bed was very comfortable and layout was great. In warmer weather the patios will be so perfect after a day of hiking. The treats provided by Carmen were lovely and hit the spot. Hiking trails are literally out the door.

Rustige en mooi plek

+ Casa Maria zit op een prachtige plek in de bergen. Heerlijk stil en mooi uitzicht. Je zit heel dichtbij het bezoekerscentrum en het park Garajonay. Echt ideaal. Boodschappen deden wij in Hermigua. Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien. Van een volledig ingerichte keuken tot spelletjes en zelfs een wasmachine. En de gastvrouw had zelfs wat lokale spullen in de keuken gezet. Communicatie verliep erg vriendelijk en vlot.

+ Het huis is rustig gelegen en biedt een mooie buitenruimte. De BBQ is super tof. Groot pluspunt zijn de goede bedden. Het huis is heel proper.

− De douche is redelijk basic en het huis is wat muf en donker, mogelijk omdat het wat ouder is en het klimaat redelijk vochtig.

+ Nous avons été très bien accueillis à la Casa Maria pour découvrir l'île de la Gomera. Les propriétaires étaient très attentifs et disponibles. La maison est très confortable au coeur de la nature.

+ It was fantastic everything. The people meeting up, the extra care about every details, the area. We only regret we did not stay longer.

Romantic location feeling the local history

+ Property is located in a quite location with a very nice view, specially from a room with a glass wall. Breakfast from a room with gorgeous view was fantastic and evenings close to an open fire as well. All the rooms are very nice and kitchen fully equipped. There was already a lot of food waiting for us on arrival. House is positioned close to a national park and it is a great starting point for hikinng.

− Car is a must and last part of the road requires some experience, but this didn’t impact our great experience

+ Casa Maria got us rested as we needed coming from the rush of a big city: comfy beds (we used the two separated beds downstairs, but you have a choice!), quiet environment in an idyllic setting. Beyond what other reviewers wrote, we truly enjoyed small details like being able to play a bit basketball in the porch right after coming back of a a hike day in Garajonay, lighting a fire in the night, or relaxing watching the bees going around the flowers of the nicely maintained garden - as Carmen will tell you, can even find there some fresh herbs for infusion.

Beautiful and authentic house with excellent attention to detail

+ A beautiful gem hidden in the valley. wonderful beds, total silence, slept really well. Amazing welcome pack with local products, the wood burner all ready to light - just a bit of a tricky drive down there but that’s rural tourism in La Gomera for you.
