Very nice and quite place to stay at Caen.

+ Beautiful place to stay at Caen. Right in the city center. Nice staff. Quiet and peaceful. Very convenient to explore the nice city of Caen and the D day beaches and all the history behind it.

− I would definitely come back to Clos St. Martin but probably would reserve rooms on the first floor. Our room was on the third floor and the stairs are quite steep and narrow.

Un très bon début et une fin désagréable

− Nous n’avons pas eu d’information concernant le marché du vendredi matin et nous sommes garées en toute confiance sur le parking à côté du Clos. Résultat :à notre départ vendredi en fin de matinée, la voiture avait été emmenée parallèle fourrière ! Il nous a fallu prendre un Taxi (il pleuvait) et payer les frais de fourrière en plus d’une amende. La moindre des précautions serait de prévenir vos clients.

+ Bellissima e citatissima struttura, camere molto spaziose e pulite. Vicino al centro in pochi minuti a piedi. Siamo arrivati tardi ma ci hanno fornito precise istruzioni per entrare ed è stato semplicissimo. Buona la colazione

+ Struttura bellissima, in un palazzo antico molto ben conservato. Stanze molto molto belle, pulitissime e profumate. Staff molto cordiale e posizione ottima anche per girare a piedi la città. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.

− Dove dove trovare un difetto, la stanza in cui abbiamo alloggiato non aveva l’aria condizionata, ma un condizionatore portatile. Posso pensare che, essendo la struttura antica, potrebbe essere soggetta a vincoli paesaggistici.

+ Tutto: camere storiche ma non “vecchie”, dotate di tutto il necessario per un moderno soggiorno, posizione dell’hotel perfetta vicinissima al centro storico, servizi e colazione ottimi ed abbondanti. Siamo stati seguiti da Valentino e Angelina in modo semplicemente perfetto!

− La scala a chiocciola, benché ampia, è un po' scomoda per il trasporto dei bagagli, ma nulla di impossibile.

+ The hotel's location is excellent, and the patio and main building look very nice. I spent a night in a separate bungalow and had mixed feelings – in terms of space and amenities, everything was fine, even better. Another issue was the cleanliness of the ground floor and the smell – it was unacceptable. The kitchen had probably flooded at some point, the floor was warped, and the door was difficult to open. The bathroom towels stank from being left in the washing machine for too long, and hair in the shower head made the situation even worse. Parking in front of the building was inaccessible, and my car, parked in the municipal lot, was scratched.

+ La struttura è centrale ma silenziosa. Molto pulita e con una buona colorazione. Il personale è molto gentile.

+ L’emplacement, plein centre ville, avec sa cour intérieure très calme et qui nous a permis de parquer nos vélos en sécurité. Chambres très agréables et confortables.

Smuk bygning med central beliggenhed

+ Virkeligt centralt beliggende og med betalingsparkering lige udenfor indgangen. Smukt hus renoveret med respekt for historien og en hyggelig gårdhave. Vi benyttede en af de anbefalede restauranter som var La Bueno Tavola og det var en helt fantastisk oplevelse.

− Der lugtede af kloak i receptions og morgenmads-området. Det var ikke behageligt og lugten aftog ikke synderligt det døgn vi var der. Der oplyses ikke pris på morgenmad eller om man ønsker det ved check-in. Man bliver blot opkrævet ved check-ud. Vi betalte totalt 367EUR for et 4 mands værelse og hertil parkering. Det er i den høje ende i forhold til hvad der udbydes af service.
