+ Well located, clean rooms and cute decor. Staff was very kind and attentive. Highly recommend this hotel!

+ We were able to easily check in early in the am at their main hotel around the corner and store our bags for the day. This allowed us to easily walk the city before our rooms were ready. The person at the check in desk was very friendly and helpful

+ The bed was comfy, the location was great for wandering the city, the common area was clean and provided free coffee and water. The rooms were clean, check in was easy, and we felt safe as two young travelers. I would recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable, quiet place to stay in Barcelona. Not sure if it’s centrally located to clubbing because we did not go, but for restaurants and public transportation, it was great!!

+ Great little place for a quick stay in Barcelona! The terrace was a great escape from the busyness of the streets and we really appreciated the water and coffee that was included. Beds & pillows are very comfortable and we felt safe in this hotel. Would recommend and stay again!

+ This boutique hotel was perfect for us! We paid a little bit more and got a room with a balcony. Our view and the fresh air was wonderful. Location was right next to public transit. Chic & Basic Lemon does not have 24 hour service, but the front desk attendant from 10a-8p worked well for us. The lobby and back garden/patio were a great place to hang out. We did not expect a daily bed cleaning service. That was a bonus and much appreciated after busy days in Barcelona.

+ This hotel was good and in a great location. Close to all the restaurants, shopping. Everything worked fine in the room.

+ The hotel itself is not bad, but it needs repairs. The bathroom in our room has broken straps, and lacks maintenance. The hotel entrance mat is broken, the elevators are very battered, and lacks maintenance is something that is worrying. The key to our room stopped working, and we almost slept in the lobby because we had no one to call. In short, they need to review maintenance and coordination aspects.

+ Nice hotel, veryclean and modern. Room was quite small, and would have been better with queen bed instead of king

Great location

+ The hotel has a great location, it is very close to anything. The stuff is very friendly. We loved to sit on the outside patio that they have. The room is okay. But there is no air in it. Being there in April worked fine. I can't imagine to be there in summer. And it would be nice to have a little refrigerator in the room. The room was clean and they provide room service.

Great find in city

+ Awesome stay. Great value hotel close to a metro station and walking distance to major sites of interest. Easy check in. I arrived early (midday) and was pleasantly surprised my room was ready. Nice amenities and shared space. Minor criticism was that shower was so powerful it made the floor wet. I would return!

+ Gostamos muito do hotel, dos funcionarios, o hotel tem uma area comum onde se serve agua , cafe, cha, bolachas , balas , marshmallows gratuitamente. A unica reclamacao é com relacao à internet que nao funciona nos quartos( wifi) e o banheiro que tem um cheiro MUITO FORTE DE ESGOTO.

Wasnt crazy about after hours check in process

+ Id rate this between 4 & 3 stars if i could. My biggest disslike was check in process. And maybe its an american thing....? But it made me feel uneasy. If you check in after their lobby hours.... they leave your room key in a sealed envelope (labeled with your name) thats inside of a box (that anyone was able to open) on the lobby counter. that just made me feel uncomfortable knowing somebody potentially had access to my room. Any guest couldve literally grabbed my key and done who knows what to my room. Again.... maybe thats just an american thing but ive never heard of this process in the states. Despite that, i had no issues with the actual room. Was in a great location. I walked to many destinations that were closer than i thought. The area itself isnt the best. But you get what you pay for. There are homeless folk outside sleeping on the sidewalks. But they dont bug you which was nice. I wasnt bothered/approached once by a homeless person. So if you can arrive at this hotel during regular lobby hours thats better. If not, your check in process will be like the above. I wouldnt mind coming back but would try to arrive earlier.

+ The bathroom door stuck due to the water coming out of the shower and buckling the floor.

+ Location is excellent in downtown, within walking distance of Placa de Catalunya square where you can take a bus to and from the airport. Most other Barcelona attractions are also within walking distance. But the hotel is minimal with front desk staff only available from 10:00 to 18:00 and if you arrive late and going to stay one night even when you have paid for your room, they force you to go to their sister hotel, pay the city tax and get your keys there. This is okay as long as you don't carry a lot of luggage.

+ Very convenient location for public transit & restaurants. Staff were friendly & helpful. Only issue is limited hours of front desk.

+ Lovely hotel. Near Barcelona university so a little noisy but room was nice and clean. Staff was wonderful. Metro was across the street and it was also very clean. Took metro to the farther away tours but walked to all the rest. Would stay there again next time in Barcelona

+ Fiquei apenas uma noite mas gostei muito da localização do hotel e o staf foi muito receptivo. Ficarei neste hotel na próxima vez que eu voltar a Barcelona.

+ ⚪︎2泊しました。スタッフがとても優しく助かりました。安心して相談することができました。 ⚪︎当初、ホテルに入るのが難しく、パスワードを入れてはいりました。慣れてないと難しかったです。 ⚪︎フリーコーヒーは部屋になく1階ラウンジまでいって飲めます。 ⚪︎浴室にバスタブがあったのでゆっくりできました。 ⚪︎お部屋は清潔で気持ちよく過ごせました。 ⚪︎空港からバスで広場まで行きましたが、一つ手前で降りた方が近かったかな。 ⚪︎ホテルの周りは賑やかでショッピングも楽しめましたし、ピカソ美術館あたりまでも歩けます。地下鉄の駅も目の前でした。

Amazing location

+ Had check in instructions emailed to me. However key was not where it wss supposed to be upon arrival. No sign at reception giving instructions. I eventually found a number to call had to go to hotel around the block to get key.

+ Great location, easy transportation to and from the airport. Room is clean, quiet, and spacious.

+ No chic & basic Très bruyant. Mal isolé Pas d’option restauration

+ The hotel was what one would expect of a travellers hotel and as the name implies; basic. That said it worked for our needs and had great transportation and access to La Rambla. The hotel has rooms facing street and rear and if noise is a problem ask for a room in the rear.

+ Good location and friendly staff. We experienced no disturbing noise. The hotel has a lounge with self-service coffee and tea. The room had a window but to no purpose as it faced a dark elevator shaft. Unfortunately, the ceiling fan was so dirty that we didn't dare to use it, and the AC grilles were also very dirty. The bathroom was worn and not too clean. But otherwise it was okay.

+ Camera e bagno puliti e abbastanza insonorizzati, personale molto gentile e disponibile. Deposito bagagli ok. Bellissima veranda e spazio comune con bevande e biscotti!! Posizione comoda: davanti c'è la metro e qualche passo in più i bus. 5 minuti a piedi da Plaça de Catalunya.

+ great clean hotel in central city. i arrived as a late checkin, so got door codes and room key instructions well in advance. the old town is aprox 15min walk. plenty of tapas etc withing walking distance
