+ Una experiencia excepcional de principio a fin. Un hotel con un nivel de Service realmente impecable, donde cada detalle está cuidado al máximo. La habitación era preciosa, elegante, muy cómoda y perfectamente equipada. El personal, extraordinariamente profesional, atento y amable en todo momento. El desayuno, excelente, tanto por la calidad como por la presentación y el Service. Se nota que todo está pensado para que el huésped se sienta especial. Un hotel con muchísimo encanto, elegancia y un Service a la altura. Sin duda, una estancia perfecta y un lugar al que nos encantaría volver.

+ We stayed in this hotel almost 30 years ago and couldn't wait to return. The staff is simply amazing. Very private and quiet, easy to walk into the old town. It's close to the convent, which is spectacular, and the auto museum, which is fun. Excellent breakfast. Transportation wise, very easy access to the robust bus system, which was an unexpected bonus.

Genoten in een fantastisch, kleinschalig hotel op wandelafstand van de oude gezellige en mooie stad!

+ We verbleven voor de 1ste keer in hotel Rector. Wat een fantastisch verblijf hadden wij daar ... We werden vriendelijk ontvangen en werd onze wagen door het personeel veilig en netjes geparkeerd in de privéparking. Bij vertrek zetten ze de wagen vertrekkensklaar en hadden ze onze vooruit netjes gekuist. We kregen een uitgebreide uitleg met wat er allemaal te zien was in de oude stad. Bij aankomst werden we een fles bubbels aangeboden op de kamer en later werd er wel altijd een attentie op ons bed gelegd wat héél leuk is. De kamer is héél mooi en heb je er alle comfort (gratis niet-alcoholische dranken in de minibar), leuke zeepjes, 2de check van de kamer, rolluik werd door het personeel dichtgedaan zodat het donker is om te slapen, enz. Het ontbijt is zeer uitgebreid en vers. Alle personeel is héél vriendelijk! Kortom, een échte aanrader en doen we hopelijk nog eens.

+ Having travelled the world for more than half a century, both on business and for leisure, and having stayed in some splendid properties, this place is up there with the best of them. Privately owned and managed by consummate professionals supported by an amazing team. Location, property, standard of conversion from a private residence (and it must have been a hell of a home!), decor, style and class. Fabulous breakfasts. We could have stayed in and just enjoyed the ambience rather than making the short walk into Salamanca old town, which is also delightful.

The perfect hotel to stay in Salamanca

+ My husband and I stayed in the Hotel Rector in May 2026. I can not recommend this hotel highly enough. From the moment we entered the hotel we were greeted by friendly and courteous staff who could not do enough for us. The hotel was decorated with beautiful pieces of art and sculpture, the whole atmosphere was peaceful and calming. Our room was delightful (well presented and spotlessly clean) we were welcomed with complimentary sparkling wine and canapes. The complimentary gifts continued during our stay and when we left we were even given a "goody bag" for our travels. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice of both hot and cold food. We used the hotels garage facilities as we were travelling across Spain - this was very safe and secure. The position of the hotel was perfect to roam and explore Salamanca. If we return to Salamanca we looked forward to staying at the Rector Hotel again.

+ Después de alojarnos en muchos hoteles de cinco estrellas por todo el mundo, puedo decir sin ninguna duda que el Hotel Rector es uno de esos lugares realmente especiales que dejan huella. No destaca por ser el más grande ni el más ostentoso, sino por algo mucho más difícil de conseguir: la excelencia en cada pequeño detalle. Von el momento en que cruzas la puerta, todo el equipo consigue que te sientas como en casa. La atención es cercana, elegante y absolutamente impecable, anticipándose a cualquier necesidad con una naturalidad que hoy en Tag resulta muy difícil de encontrar. Es el auténtico lujo: un Service personalizado y sincero. Las habitaciones son espectaculares, amplias, silenciosas, con camas extraordinariamente cómodas y una limpieza absolutamente perfecta. Cada detalle está cuidadosamente pensado para que la estancia sea memorable, ab los pequeños obsequios hasta la atención constante del personal. La ubicación es ideal, a pocos minutos caminando del centro histórico de Salamanca, permitiendo disfrutar de la ciudad sin renunciar a la tranquilidad. El desayuno merece una mención aparte: productos de máxima calidad, preparado al momento y con un Service excepcional. Lo que realmente diferencia al Hotel Rector es que no vende lujo, lo transmite. Es uno de esos hoteles que entienden que la excelencia está en las personas y en los detalles. No es casualidad que sea considerado por muchos viajeros el mejor hotel de Salamanca y que mantenga una valoración cercana a la perfección entre sus huéspedes. Volveremos, sin ninguna duda. Y no solo porque Salamanca sea una ciudad maravillosa, sino porque alojarse en el Hotel Rector convierte una visita en una experiencia inolvidable. Enhorabuena a todo el equipo por demostrar que la auténtica hospitalidad sigue existiendo.

Bottle of champagne with nibbles in the room on arrival, message before we arrived to check air con temperature - 10 out of 10 service! Excellent breakfast and lovely goody bag when we left! We will be back!
