+ I liked the location and easy free parking. Staff super friendly

− Not very sound proofed but not a huge issue

Not bad, not 100%

+ The property is authentic form of traditional style hotel very close to Calais Centre and walkable. Comfy rooms.

− Smells inside . Still positively outweighs. Can improve.

− Die Unterkunft hat ihre besten Jahre lange hinter sich. Hier kann ich n7chts empfehlen ... sorry.

Für eine oder zwei Nächte empfehlenswert :)

+ nettes Personal, zentrale Lage, irgendwie charmant

− bisschen in die Jahre gekommen und etwas muffig im Zimmer

Kicsi, régi, nem tetszett.

+ A reggeli, finom és bőséges volt.

− A szoba nagyon kicsi volt, kb akkora mint a franciaágy, ami benne volt, de az is a legkisebb méretű, éppen hogy körbe lehetett járni az ágyat. A fürdőszoba kb múlt század beli, linóleum a padló, semmi nem volt felújítva, nagyon gáz volt, a tisztaság is hagyott némi kívánnivalót…

− eclairage individuel pres de la tete de lit la gare est proche mais pour le bruit pas trop genant

Hotel in a good location in need of some tlc

+ Decent location at a good price. Good WiFi, parking and friendly. Bar was fine. Check in efficient.

− Bit of a sewerage smell downstairs. Bathroom very small. Uncomfortable pillows. Bar area too dark, could so with freshening up.

+ confusion over the booking. room very very small, smelly not clean Bar dirty, no stock avoid if possible

+ Das Personal war super hilfreich und freundlich

+ Vriendelijk personeel. Prijs-kwaliteit prima. Zeer goede locatie als je met de trein komt. Ontbijt in orde.

− Bij het inchecken was onze kamer blijkbaar al gegeven aan een andere persoon met een gelijkaardige naam.

+ Trein naar Dover snel bereikbaar

− Gedateerde hotel/kamers. Wel schoon.

Perfect for an overnighter

+ Staff were welcoming friendly and helpful. Rooms are small but adequate

− Stairscase is a bit dark. Shower in the bath and not up on the wall.

+ Personeel was erg aardig en parkeren kan voor de deur.

− De kamer was erg vervallen, het raam wou niet goed open en de badkamer was erg gedateerd en niet schoon.

Praktisch gelegen, sonst leider mau

+ Gute Lage nahe des Bahnhofs, trotzdem ruhig. Saftpresse für Orangen.

− Leblosen und unaufmerksamer Service beim Frühstück. Flocken und Knäckebrot in aufgerissenen Tüten, Käse und Wurst offen im Kühlschrank und entsprechend trocken. Keine Gabeln zum Entnehmen. Im Bad kaum Platz für die Beine vor der Toilette. Für Menschen über 1,76 völlig ungeeignet.

excellent hôtel

+ accueil vintage très sympathique. Chambre cosy super bien équipée (volet roulant, sèche-cheveux et petits kits cadeaux offerts) Petit déjeuner très complet J'y reviens tous les ans !

+ Sehr nettes Personal, zentrale Lage

− Zimmer war sehr in die Jahre gekommen, Bad war grenzwertig...dringend renovierungsbedürftig, Bilder im Netz sehen anders aus.

− Hotel was obviously good when built but is now tired. Room minimal in size

Ok for passing through, but not for any length of time.

+ Room and bathroom were very small, but fitted everything in. Lots of free stuff like soap and toothbrush if you needed them. Tea / coffee and kettle. decent location for bars and restaraunts. Free parking accross the road from the hotel.

− Room could have been a bit bigger. No aircon.

Es un hotel clasico

+ El personal muy amable, el hotel tiene un aire vintage se nota que han ido mejorándolo desde los años 20 cuando lo abrieron pero dejando toques clásicos como los radiadores de hierro fundido decorado o los paneles de madera tallada del comedor.

− el cuarto de baño necesita una reforma a fondo.

+ Struttura in posizione comoda e centrale, a pochi passi da un parcheggio piuttosto capiente. Possibilità di prepararsi the/caffé in camera.

− Tutto ok!

+ nahe an Stadt und mit etwas Fußweg auch zum strand

Vieil hôtel dans son jus très accueillant et sympathique. Excellente étape avant de prendre le train.

+ Un accueil formidable ! Un service aux petits oignons ! Le petit déjeuner nous est servi à 5h30 avant notre train pour Paris !

+ Sehr freundlicher Empfang, wir haben sehr gute Empfehlungen für Restaurants gekommen. Das Hotel ist ein bisschen aus der Zeit gefallen und hat darüber einen ganz eigenen nostalgischen Chatne entwickelt. Super Lage in der unmittelbaren Nähe zum Bahnhof und Laufnähe zum Strand. Gutes Frühstück.

LOOK BEYOND THE APPEARANCE- Its clean & Comfortable

+ The Hotel has a secure locked carpark for €10 per car. Although 'dated' it was comfortable, clean & only 9 minutes from Le Shuttle

− Its a very (very) dated hotel. The decor is very tired & very dated. BUT for the price its clean bedding, clean carpets, the beds are comfortable, & so are the pillows.

Won’t be returning

+ Receptionist was very friendly

− Booked an accessible room, with walk in shower, when arrived and checked the room my disabled father and myself, who is also disabled, were in a room with a bath. Staff stated they didn’t have any others available. Wasn’t allowed to grab medical equipment or medication from the private car park after 10pm which wasn’t explained to us when we were at next to the front desk having a drink. If known we would have grabbed it before hand.
