We had an enjoyable holiday, Estepona is a beautiful resort with lots of great restaurants and bars. You feel very safe

+ The location, the pool is fab and grounds are well kept. The beds are comfortable. The bathrooms are serviceable if shabby but lack of standalone shower unit, stepping into a bath to shower is difficult, a nonslip bathmat would be most welcome.

− The cockroach’s which dispute a fumigation treatment beings carried out , persisted. We had to sweep them up every morning and night. You had to start everyday with washing the floor. The house and its contents badly need updating. Pealing paint, broken cabinets in kitchen, flooring chipped. The little courtyard garden is almost unusable because of trees which loose leaves and some kind of fruit which make it very dirty. I would be very concerned if a family of young babies/children stayed and played on the floor

+ Estuvimos muy bien, la casa muy conservada y limpia el anfitrión muy atento y servicial, la ubicación junto a la playa y cerca de comercios y la zona muy tranquila. Se aparcaba relativamente fácil

− Nada reseñable, nosotros viajamos por trabajo y sólo vamos por la tarde-noche

+ Notre séjour c’est très bienn passé , le propriétaire est toujours au petit soins

Das Haus, die Terasse und der Pool waren sehr schön.

− Elektrizität, Toiletten Spülung in einem Bad. Wasserhähne in einem Bad.

Es war ein toller Aufenthalt dort

+ Posizione, elettrodomestici nuovi, appartamento grande.

− Infissi esterni sono chiusi con dei lacci, anche quello interno della sala ha la maniglia rotta, sicuramente da rinnovare tutti. Scarafaggi sia al primo piano che al secondo.

+ Location & swimming pool in a closed park with view on the seaside.

− Several cockroaches dead or stuck on the back found every morning. There's a need to reinforce the measures to eradicate them.

+ Fantastic location and very private.House had a great layout and good sized rooms. Shower was great. Despite the negative we enjoyed our stay.

− A little minimal on utensils and dated in decor.Door locks needed oiling as we couldn't open the door.which eventually we did ourself despite a call to the agent.The courtyard garden is very overground leaving it in permanent shade.. No information pack in the property

+ Excellent location and lovely townhouse/villa with fabulous courtyard garden and access to shared pool.Close to the sea (30m) left out of the front door and right out of the door, a boardwalk all the way into Estepona. 1.4km walk to its lovely beach and numerous very good restaurants.Practically, there is a huge Carrefour supermarket halfway into town within easy walking distance.

− Pictures in villa details were of more than one villa so you weren't entirely sure what you were getting. As it turned out we were delighted.

− Run down house, no kettle. outside was very dirty dead leaves all over the patio ,old dirty broken furniture outside, no welcome pack, no WiFi lots of cockroaches found everyday around the house, toilet upstairs rocks when you sit on it also toilet seat to big for the toilet so it trapped your leg, emailed owner Miguel to complain no response absolutley a disgusting property please take this of your site I wouldn't want to think people were spending there hard earned money to stay in a run down dirty house

+ I have stayed in a property nearby so knew the area its perfect for the beach and places to eat easy walk into town

− there was a problem with cockroaches they had put poison down as each morning we found them dying the worst thing was finding them on the kitchen worktop.there was no information as to where to take the bin also there were pictures of a gym we could not see one also there add said there were bikes again we never saw them.the shutters in the front bedroom were rotten and tied up with string so they didn't close properly and when there was a windy night the inner glass doors kept banging this stopped when we put a chair in front.there was one sun lounger which was too filthy to use.the lounge had just a lamp no ceiling light but had to sit in the dark as the lamp kept flashing on and off

Wouldn't return - needs fixing, updating and to be taken care of properly for paying customers

+ Property size was fine, having a private patio area was nice, and access to gardens and pool was lovely and useful with family.

− A number of things were not up to basic standards, but are easy to do - otherwise this place doesn't show much care for people/renters and comes off as purely for profit: - Dead/dying cockroaches in the house every evening - apparently due to recent fumigation, and there was a cockroach poison under the kitchen counter which children could easily have gotten hold of. - Cleanliness: leftover items from previous renter (?), which could have easily been found in drawers by cleaners if they were paying attention, including: - Condoms, lubricant and other clothes - this makes us wonder about the sanitation and cleanliness of the property - Requested information about an iron and ironing board, was told there wasn't so bought an iron before arriving - but found that there were those in the property. - Various light switches did not work - Electric shock on touching the light at the top of the stairs - I am VERY glad children cannot reach this light, but also makes us wonder about other unsafe areas eg there were exposed cables in the main bathroom. - Very few basic amenities that should come with a rental property - so that renters don’t have to buy and throw away what they don’t use (wasteful) because they can't take it home! e.g Kitchen utensils blunt, not that clean, etc. - The patio area was untidy and not kept well, this should have at least been swept and plants cut back eg there was an empty bin on its side just left amongst the brush, rusted BBQ. - Owner said they were available but didn’t answer a time-sensitive question - even though I received a boilerplate email saying "I'm contactable for anything", nope.All of this was reported to the owner before this review, with no real apology or consideration, etc.
