+ all of the facilities were more than enough. kitchen had a lot of tools for cooking. house was clean. the location is great for people looking for a quiet place. the metro ride to the city center is about 20 mins. there were no problems with heating, hot water, entering the house etc.

− there were no basic cooking stuff in the kitchen. it would be better if we had oil, salt etc. we bought them ourselves and they will probably go waste. also, paper towel in the kitchen would make sense.

+ Hoher Komfort, sehr sauber, super aktiver Service. Das Türschloss funktioniert nur mit Datenvolumen, mein IPhone hatte keines, die Hilfe kam online. Die Straße ist nicht superhübsch, aber gut gelegen und das Haus gut in Schuss. Habe auf dem Grundstück unter dem Balkon geparkt, nichts passiert, sicher nicht erwünscht , also keine Garantie. Die Stadt ist friedlich und lebensfreudig- sehr schöne Tage im Dezember.

Un bel soggiorno a Bilbao

+ Appartamento fantastico e con tutti i comfort. Il proprietario molto gentile ci ha anche lasciato entrare un po' prima del dovuto. C'era spazio in abbondanza, la cucina molto grande e moderna e abbiamo molto apprezzato le camere separate per i bambini

− Non sapevo che Bilbao fosse costruita su tanti livelli strada e le fermate dei mezzi pubblici, che da Google maps sembravano più vicini, erano un po' più impegnative del previsto da raggiungere con due bimbi piccoli, la pioggia battente e strade molto ripide. Tuttavia molto comodi gli ascensori pubblici, che ci sono stati molto utili

+ Appartamento davvero ben fatto e spazioso. Gli spazi sono ben divisi e ci sono due bagni. L’illuminazione degli ambienti è molto ben fatta. La posizione anche è buona perchè subito sopra la parte vecchia di Bilbao

− La gestione è di una società ed è tutto automatico, quindi manca un po’ il calore umano.

− The renovation merited to have A/C in Spain during summer the temperature get really high and not to have A/C can jeopardize your evenings and nights. The was no water, no coffee at all. Even a small hotel nowadays have water and coffee, especially for the high price paid. Internet was really really slow, almost impossible to navigate. Parking was a nightmare

− A negative aspect is that the internet is practically nonexistent. Technically, it is available, but the connection speed is so low that even messaging apps don’t work. In reality, the internet in the apartment is only installed for the purpose of remotely controlling the door locks.The management couldn’t help us in any way; they simply informed us that this is the speed as it is.This wouldn’t have been an issue if the internet was only needed for entertainment, but we had to connect to a work environment, and relying on mobile data sharing from a smartphone was extremely inconvenient.

− Frustrating Check-In Experience, Poor Communication, and Lacking Essentials—But Nice Apartment and Good LocationOur stay at this apartment was unfortunately overshadowed by an incredibly frustrating check-in process. Despite following all instructions on the app, we were unable to access the building from the street. After being stuck outside, we spent over 40 minutes on the phone with a customer service assistant who was rude and unhelpful. The assistant seemed completely unfamiliar with the building's access requirements and repeatedly gave us incorrect instructions for the apartment door rather than helping us enter the building itself.We were finally let in by a resident who happened to be entering the building. During this time, we had to juggle two cell phones using WhatsApp, the booking.com app, and an international phone call—an incredibly stressful experience, especially in a foreign country.Additionally, there was no parking available on the street as described, and this should have been made much clearer in the listing. We ended up parking in a garage about a quarter-mile away, which was inconvenient and frustrating.Once inside, the apartment was nicely set up and comfortable, with a good location near grocery stores. However, the freezer was frozen solid and stuck open—clearly neglected for days or even weeks. Despite sending a photo and raising the issue on WhatsApp, we were promised a fix "ASAP" but never received any follow-up or resolution.To add to the issues, the kitchen was poorly stocked with almost no cooking utensils—no knives, no basic tools for food preparation, and nothing to make cooking practical. This was a major inconvenience given the expectation of a fully equipped kitchen.While the apartment itself had potential and the location was convenient, the lack of clear access instructions, poor customer service, unresolved maintenance issues, and insufficient kitchen supplies left us disappointed overall.

− The location is not good, specially with old people since it is up the hill and neighborhood seems a bit funky. Don’t book this place if you don’t have wifi, you won’t be able to open their doors, it is all operates on line 🧐

+ High quality apartment. It looks new and it has everything that you might need. Very clean and good location, 10 min walking to the city centre.

− Just 4 rolls of toilet paper for 4 people and 3 nights. When we asked for more, the manager said that they don't give more. Luckily looking into hidden bags in the cleaning closet, we could find more. Bedrooms can get quite warm at night (we went at the end of April, probably in summer will get warmer) and if you open the windows there are lots of mosquitos coming in (the ones with long legs that bite).
