AXEL HOTEL BILBAO ONLY ADULTS

+ Hotel was new so everything was clean a big beautiful shower i loved it .Staff was so kind and knowledgeable about area it was so easy to go anywhere.we wanted go to St Sebatine staff was helping us to book the bus tickets too.I loved this hotel will recomand to everyone who visit Bibao Spain

+ Ich habe mich sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt, die Lage mit einem Zentrum war großartig. Die mitarbeiten denn mit ihren Tipps immer sehr hilfreich freundlich und hatten immer ein Lächeln auf den Lippen.

+ Brilliant hotel. Staff were very welcoming and friendly and rooms were immaculately clean. Spa area was good as the weather was too bad to sit on the roof pool area. Breakfast was great.

+ centrally located but limited dinner options except going into the old town. with that said the hotel is right across the bridge from the old town so super convenient

+ Neues, modernes Hotel in perfekter Lage am Fluss direkt gegenüber der Altstadt. Das Personal ist total nett und hilfsbereit, das Zimmer groß mit Holzfussboden und superbequemem Bett, die Dusche riesig, alles war extrem sauber. Wir hatten ein ruhiges Zimmer nach hinten raus. Auch die Dachterrasse mit Pool und tollem Blick haben uns sehr gefallen, ein absolut empfehlenswertes Hotel!

Nice hotel close to old town

+ The staff were amazing and the hotel very nice, close to old town. My only 2 negatives were the breakfast wasn't great - eggs were very wet / inedible and selection not very good, and the bathroom design is really weird, so you can see your partner showering / hear them using the toilet (no door!), which gives lack of privacy. Otherwise a pleasant stay.

+ Sehr sauberes und geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Hotel mit zentraler Lage und geräumige Zimmer.Allerdings lohnt das Frühstück sich leider nicht, da die Auswahl relativ klein ist.

Wonderful hotel

+ Fantastic hotel! The room was beautiful and clean, the staff were helpful and friendly. Great proximity to the old town, the market, restaurants, and public transportation. Roof top pool and bar was excellent - would definitely recommend!

+ There was a nasty odor in the room thoughout our stay. The staff was informed . And they attempted to fix by pouring chemials in the shower drain but it did not help.

+ The building enjoys an excellent location, "on the river". It is clearly new. Maybe a bar would make it even more pleasant and a larger gym

+ I felt quite welcome by Sandra at check in and very safe during my stay. Breakfast buffet and coffee service was very good. Walkable to all of the sites but the tram from Ribera Market was a good alternative to the Guggenheim in the rain. The room with a view of the Nervion River was worth the rate. I will look for other Axel Hotels in cities I visit in the future. Highly recommended!

+ A lovely hotel. Very close to the old town. Great roof bar and a cute pool (unheated). No children in the hotel. Excellent breakfast. Highly recommended.

New and clean but would not stay again

+ Room was new and clean However the room design is a bit odd. Bathroom has no door (a curtain), shower has a see through glass (no privacy), and shower area shape makes it too large, wasting space and making the rest of the room too small. Bed was quite uncomfortable - even if new - and so were the pillows (both me and my wife woke up sore) Location is central and easy to walk to the old town, but the neighbourhood and area where the hotel actually is (and behind the hotel) made us feel quite unsafe (to the point we took Ubers rather than walking a few times).

+ Loved the quiet location out of city center, yet still close to the more bohemian side of Bilbao. We thoroughly enjoyed it!

Schöne Zeit mit Freunden

+ Es war voll in der Stadt, da das Bilbaofest war! Da durch war es auch sehr schmutzig in der Stadt! In unserem Zimmer hat es während dreier Tage übel gerochen, was scheinbar dem angrenzenden Fluss geschuldet war. Eine Nacht vor Abreise wurde uns ein anderes Zimmer angeboten.

Fantastisk hotel

+ Fantastisk hotel. God beliggenhed, imødekommende og meget hjælpsomme og søde medarbejdere ved indtjekning og ud tjekning og alt derimellem. Eneste ikke så gode ting er at deres aircondition desværre for vores vedkommende lugtede af et par glemte fodboldstøvler. Men vi kommer gerne igen da opholdet var skønt.

+ We stayed for 2 nights at Axel Bilbao. Room was nice and spacious, especially liked the large shower. Location was convenient just across the bridge from old town. However, the streets right behind the hotel up the hill was sketch and didn’t feel as safe to walk according to taxi driver and we saw some fights break out among locals.

+ Zona no muy recomendable. El hotel muy bien aunque las habitaciones muy pequeñas

+ centrale locatie, mooie kamers en lekker dakterras met zwembad

+ Soweit alles in Ordnung. Wir haben nur einen Kleiderschrank vermisst. Ausserdem gab es an der Poolbar einige Tage keinen Sekt, somit auch keinen Aperol Spriz. Das fanden wir sehr schade.

+ Très bel hôtel avec un personnel serviable. Une belle Terasse avec piscine. Un petit déjeuner très agréable. Une déco moderne et jolie et un espace sport et spa top. Seul petit bémol, peu de rangement dans les chambres.
