+ Better than expected, a true 3 star last minute booking. Very clean, quiet and minimal -- great service from front desk/manager. Great location to walk to beach and didn't bother with food as it was just a place to sleep - friendliest staff and helpful. In the heat not the place to hang out in, no air conditioning in lobby and weak inside room

Fantastic and Friendly stay in a great beach hotel.

+ We have a fantastic stay in the Capao Beach hotel, the level of service was excellent across all aspects of the hotel. In particular we really appreciated the hospitality shown from Jason in the management team and Syntia and team in Reception. ( thank you for the roses !! ) The hotel restaurant food was superb and the personalised services really appreciated. We will definitely be returning for another relaxing stay and highly recommend this hotel, just a few meters from the beach. Best Regards Tony and Michelle Ireland

Impeccable service, great location

+ I stumbled across this hotel when I was looking for a place to stay next to Marseillan where my son was taking yachting lessons with his school. I wasn’t expecting such a great service in France, as sometimes even at very fancy hotels here you don’t get it. However, pleasantly surprised by everything at this hotel: cleanliness, politeness of staff, location next yo the beach, even if we didn’t use it, the sea being cold in June. The breakfast had a great choice, we ate more than should have every time. Think of travelling around to Sète, Narbonne and Montpellier, as Cap d’Agde is a pure beach destination.

Everything was perfect

+ We were a group of friends with teenagers (26 of us in total) and all stayed at Capao Beach for the long weekend.Everything was excellent !- great service from the reception desk, to the breakfast and restaurant team members. They were all super friendly, all smiling, all ready to help and all wanting to make sure we had everything we needed.- the breakfast was amazing : quality and be tasty products, super nice terrace, excellent service. Same for the restaurant. They also prepared super good take-away salads and bagels.- the room were very functional. The only comment I heard from some of my friends was that some of the rooms were a bit noisy because of the bars in the street. So I would just advise to take a room facing the swimming-pool.- the beach towels with the bag and water bottle were super nice and convenient. The beach access is right in front of the hotel, and there are 2 nice swimming-pools.- the shop at the entrance has super nice items at reasonable prices.Our overall experience was amazing. Thank you ti the entire team of the Capao Beach Hotel.

Fabulous friendly hotel

+ A lovely four night stay, friendly and helpful staff who couldn’t do enough to ensure you had a good stay. Very clean and nice rooms, lovely area around the heated pool, two minute walk from the beach and fifteen minute walk to the harbour. We ate in the hotel restaurant one evening, fabulous food, presentation and quality- although a little expensive.

Sejour satisfaisant

+ Hotel tres bien placé proche de la plage et a 15 minutes a pied du centre ville. Grand parking. Accueil tres sympathique. Chambre spacieuse, bien équipée. Petit bémol sur la température de l eau de la douche (passe du chaud ou froid).

+ für die zimmer zum meer oder pool war schade, dass die musik vom restaurant ab 8.00 h morgens bis 23.00h abends läuft. grosser parkplatz an hotel angrenzend war super.

BEWARE BEING HIT WITH HIDDEN CHARGES.

+ On arrival I was hit with an additional cost of a bed for my child! Despite having booked for 2 adults and 1 child, they charged an extra €120 for the kids bed despite already having paid for the holiday. Unbelievable. As a no. Refundable deal, there was nothing I could do but pay the extra money.I have never come across this before and my booking confirmation from booking.com clearly lays out local charges. And this was not one of them.As a gesture, they did offer a free ‘express’ breakfast which was really uncomfortable as they watched and policed our every move in the restaurant. Just felt weird, uncomfortable and really disrespectful.

Hôtel accueillant et confortable.

+ Accueil très sympathique, nous y avons nos petites habitudes. Hôtel en plus très bien situé et très bien tenu.

Correct mais pas extraordinaire

+ Halte d'une nuit lors d'un long trajet, j'ai apprécié la proximité de la plage, la piscine. Personnel d'accueil aux petits soins, ceux du petit-dejeuner aussi. Petit bémol pour le restaurant, j'etais probablement mal placée, j'avais l'impression d'être au bistrot du coin... Dommage car le repas était bon.

+ Super séjour dans cet hôtel, personnel aux petits soins. Seul bémol nous étions au deuxième étage sans ascenseur avec un bébé et une poussette. Pas super pratique pour les familles avec des enfants en bas âges.

Overall pleasant stay and owner is extremely friendly and helpful

+ There are two extreme pros and cons hence my rating Pro: beautiful hotel, well maintained, very generous breakfast which included fresh pressed oranges on demand, staff are amazing. Cons: no instructions on how to use the safe,bathroom not suitable for seniors,can’t figure out how to get hot from cold water on tap, shower water spreads everywhere. Last but not least is we were told we will have access to two swimming pools whereas the big one wasn’t available ( misinformation???)

+ Très bon séjour avec beaucoup de professionnalisme et d'attentions pour le client. Propre partout. De la salle de bain à la terrasse... 2 piscines très propres aussi. A recommander absolument.

Hyper décevant

+ Bonjour, Les tarifs indiqués ne sont pas les tarifs appliqués. La chambre était petite et le lit pour notre fils était un lit d’appoint bancale. La climatisation très bruyante était inefficace. La directrice promet des choses qu’elle ne tient pas. Lors de notre départ la directrice nous a facturé à double des prestations et nous avons dû demander le remboursement. Les personnels d’accueil sont froids et antipathique. Le personnel de chambre est par contre sympathique cependant la qualité de leur travail laisse vraiment à désirer. Nous déplorons la qualité des prestations et estimons sincèrement que cet hôtel mérite 3 étoiles mais en tout cas pas quatre. Nous regrettons amèrement le choix de cet hôtel.

Nydelig beliggenhet, og fint oppusset hotell.

+ Vi fant hotellet fordi de har Tesla Destination charger. Vi ble møtt av en veldig hyggelig resepsjonist, som informerte godt. Veldig god mat i restauranten. Godt utvalg til frokosten. Deilig å ha balkong på rommet. Og hunden vår hadde også fine dager.

Trés bon hotel

+ L’hôtel est très agréable, le service excellent. Seuls bémols: Certaines chambres sont bruyantes et d'autres gagneraient à être rénovées.

Nice hotel for hot weather

+ Nice hotel, short walk to beach. Beach bar had good dining a pity not available in hotel itself.

+ Nice hotel close to beach with private beach area and lovely bar/restaurant on beach Capao. 10 minutes walk east to 20 minutes west to other shops and restaurants Very friendly staff. Have to pay for extras e.g. loungers, breakfast but worth it.
