Tranquilidad

+ Nos ha gustado todo de la casita; La limpieza, la ubicación, tiene todo lo necesario para la estancia (tanto de cocina como de baño). La casa tiene unas vistas increíbles, hay mucho silencio y tranquilidad. Han estado pendiente en todo momento de nosotros. Repetiremos seguro.

Een huis waar je je direct welkom en thuis voelt

+ Het is een prachtig groot, licht huis met een mooie tuin rondom en veel zitplekken om mee te verhuizen met de zon, of juist met de schaduw. De sterrenhemel bekijken in de jacuzzi was subliem. Het uitzicht over de wolken boven zee was fantastisch en de zonsondergang was iedere dag anders, heerlijk om vanuit de schommelbank van te genieten. De niet schuwe hagedissen zijn leuk gezelschap en de bloemen in de tuin zijn prachtig. Daura is zeer gastvrij en wil het verblijf zo comfortabel maken voor je als mogelijk. We hebben extra bijgeboekt omdat we het er zo fijn vonden. Uitstapjes vanuit het centrale Puntagorda was voor ons ideaal als wandelaars hebben we het hele eiland goed kunnen verkennen.

Estancia perfecta en un entorno tranquilo

+ Nuestra estancia en Casa Rodri ha sido simplemente inmejorable. La casa es preciosa, muy cómoda y cuidada al detalle. La ubicación es perfecta para descansar y disfrutar de la tranquilidad del entorno. Además, queremos destacar el trato tan amable y cercano de la anfitriona, que hizo que nos sintiéramos como en casa desde el primer momento. Sin duda, repetiremos porque la experiencia ha sido fantástica. ¡Totalmente recomendable!

Nice house with stunning view

+ The house is beautiful, especially the outdoor areas. The view is stunning and the jacuzzi is great for relaxing, especially at night time while stargazing. We had a wonderful time and no problems in terms of equipment of the house etc. It was a little cold in the house (it was end of april, so not really a warm season yet), but there were plenty of plug in radiators and built in ac to fix that quickly, so it wasnt a problem at all. The host was also friendly and made sure we were happy at all times, helping very quickly when something was wrong. I highly recommend this place, especially for a couples trip.

− We had some trouble with the jacuzzi settings, but it all got taken care of fairly quickly, so over all our experience was great.

Sehr schön, immer wieder.

+ Sehr schöne Lage, mit tollem Ausblick, trotz der relativ nahen Straße ruhig. Alles, was man braucht, ist in der Wohnung vorhanden. Der Whirlpool ist toll. Es gibt viele schöne Sitzmöglichkeiten draußen. Geschirr ist wirklich reichlich vorhanden. Geschirrspüler und Waschmaschine funktionieren. Falls es kalt sein sollte, gibt es genug Heizungen.

− Es gibt halt eine lokale Tierwelt, wie überall auf der Insel.

Too cold to enjoy the great views

+ The views were very nice, from both the property and inside. We appreciated the washing machine and dishwasher. Parking was good. Driveway was easy enough to navigate. It was quiet at night.

− Unfortunately the house was very cold. I don't think it's appropriate accommodation for winter, especially if you are older or have children. There were 2 inverters, one in the kitchen and one in a bedroom. They didn't make any difference. The outside temperature is what the inside temperature of the house was. During our stay, it was between 13C and 16C. There were small space heaters, which did make a difference, but only when running, the heat would dissipate quickly. So we carried the heaters around to whatever room we were in. We didn't contact the host because I don't know what more could be done to solve it. The house is not built to retain heat. We also got an invasion of centipedes, there were probably 50 centipedes in the house. Stepping on them accidentally was not pleasant. We couldn't find a broom to sweep them away.

+ Todo! El alojamiento es un lugar mágico para estar en plena naturaleza, con un cielo totalmente despejado de luz en la noche. Todo lo necesario a tu alcance para disfrutar de unas vacaciones relajantes. El alojamiento tiene de todo! Cada minúsculo detalle está disponible para ti allí 🥰

+ No sabría decir que me gustó más, si el trato super cordial de la anfitriona, si la increíble ubicación de la casa, si el detalle que tienen con los huéspedes, supero con muchas creces lo que andaba buscando.

+ Tranquilidad y tiene todo lo que puedas necesitar, muy recomendable.

Como en casa.

+ Estuvimos como en casa. Resolvieron algunas preguntas que tenía y estuvieron muy pendientes de nosotros y de que no nos faltara de nada. La casa tiene de todo incluido lavavajillas, lavadora y aire acondicionado. Más grande de lo que parece en fotos y tiene distintos espacios en la terraza para poder disfrutar. La barbacoa y el jacuzzi una maravilla. La cama muy cómoda. Tiene todo lo necesario para cocinar y se agradece todos los detalles que nos dejaron de bienvenida. No se puede pedir más. Ya de por sí la isla de La Palma para nosotros tiene algo mágico y estando en esta casa se disfruta mucho más. Un rincón de paz y tranquilidad. De los mejores alojamientos en los que hemos estado. La pena es volver a casa.

Spacious House in La Palma

+ Our stay at Casa Rodri was very pleasant, thanks in large part to the welcoming and communicative host. The house is spacious and well-equipped. Everything we needed was provided, and we never felt that anything was lacking. The jacuzzi was already prepared for us upon arrival and worked perfectly, adding a nice touch of relaxation. Self check-in and check-out were straightforward and convenient. The internet connection was reliable throughout our stay, which we appreciated.

− When we arrived, the house was quite cold. Although heating is available via the air conditioning system, the house had likely been unoccupied and unheated for some time, so it took a while to reach a comfortable temperature. Finding the property was also a bit challenging. We only located it on the second attempt, despite using a navigation system. Thankfully, the owner’s directions were very clear and helpful. The driveway can be tricky in the late afternoon when the sun is directly in your eyes. Caution is needed when approaching the house. One area that could be improved is the mattress. It was clean but clearly worn and in need of replacement. Finally, while outside the owner's control, we had to contend with a very persistent stray cat (nicknamed “Pop-up Window”). It frequently tried to enter the house and car and was quite vocal whenever it spotted us. Though we love animals, the cat’s presence became a minor nuisance, especially since we were concerned it might scratch our rental car. The owner apologized to us for the inconvenience and we thank her for that. We felt as though there was nothing really that she could have done about that, but it was annoying to us.

+ Excelent location with a great view over pontagorda. Quiet and peaceful place. House is well equiped and is very confortable. The owner was very affordable and it was an easy contact via whattsapp. If you like astrophotography is a nice location if weather permits (I was unfortunate) Very recommended.

− Actually nothing. Could maybe be a little more practical with the furniture, a cosy corner to sit inside in the evenings.

Beautiful villa with great night sky view

+ The villa is magnificent. Beautiful view from a height of about 920 meters. A calm and fresh place to relax with family and friends. And a night sky... It's amazing!

− That time at La Palma there were a lot of road works, so it took more time to get from the villa to other places.

Highly recommended, we will be back!

+ Amazing view for the daily sunsets. Not too remote, but also not directly on a busy street. Good access to nearby villages with supermarkets, but also very silent at night and clear skies. We could even take some night sky photos.
