+ A casa era agradável, o terraço tem uma vista fantástica.

− A limpeza dos equipamentos da cozinha poderiam estar em melhores condições e limpos.

− Esta en un piso 12, el ascensor solo llega a la 11, el ruido de la maquinaria del ascensor está al lado de la habitación de matrimonio y no te deja dormir, hace mucho calor, el barrio no es muy bueno, huelen las tuberías del baño, para el precio no es muy bueno.

Het was goed, maar ik miste het overige.

+ In het appartement was alles wat er nodig was.

− Dat er niet aanwezig was wat er moest zijn. Er was geen schaduwdoek op het terras. De barbecue was ook niet aanwezig. 2 stoelen voor 4 personen. Dan hebben we er op de gang weggenomen en die op het terras gezet. De zeteltjes die er stonden hadden geen kussen . De wasmachine zagen we niet. Ik heb toen een mail via de booking app gestuurd en daar geen reactie op gehad. Pas nadat ik gebeld heb ,omdat de sleutel van de deur van de inkom niet werkte . Dan pas heb ik antwoord gekregen op mijn opnieuw gestelde vragen. Schaduwdoek is er alsnog niet gekomen . We hebben dan maar zelf iets geprobeerd, maar de doek bleef niet zitten omdat we niet het geschikte materiaal hadden. De bbq hebben ze weg gehaald ,maar het staat wel bij de inhoud. En dan hebben we de code gekregen van het sleutelkastje voor de toegang naar de wasmachine. Ik heb deze accommodatie geboekt omdat dit allemaal aanwezig ging zijn. Het was een vakantie in de buurt van familie , we hadden hen graag ontvangen met een stukje vlees van op de bbq en met een pracht van een zicht in de schaduw. Niet feesten maar even een gezellig momentje na zoveel jaren.

− Could do with sunbeds on terrace. Noisy elevator would disturb light sleepers as it did me.

Will definitely return and excellent value for money

+ As all that stay here report, the terrace is the gem of this property with sun all day and spectacular views. The apartment was perfectly functional and equipped. The apartment is within easy walking distance of most things you require on a holiday.

− Comments here are meant to be helpful rather than critical. Despite what many reviews point to as to the environment around the apartment, If, like us, your preference is to holiday in an area of Spain that is authentically Spanish, you’ll appreciate this apartment in La Linea and all that is part of that. You will not encounter much in the way of tourism. If you are a light sleeper, then take ear plugs to eliminate the noise of the elevator in the main bedroom. All other rooms were fine. A couple of chair pads would be a welcome addition

+ The kitchen was well equipped the beds were comfortable the views from the terrace were beautiful

− The roar of the elevator was very disturbing The terrace furniture was broken and dirty there was nothing to call fabulous

Very Expensive for a Loud Apartment in a Rough Neighborhood

+ At least the neighbors were nice! All of the residents of the apartment building greeted us with a smile and a friendly “Hola!” every time we left and returned to the building.

− The penthouse is far too expensive when you consider the neighborhood and the conditions inside the penthouse. Make no mistake, this is NOT a clean, well-kept area for vacationers. This is a run-down, working class neighborhood that looks worse than a ghetto neighborhood in downtown Los Angeles. I would not advise wandering around at night. The apartment itself isn’t much better. It looks clean and modern at first glance, but the shower hardly produces any hot water, and the main bedroom shares a wall with the motor room for the elevator/lift, which runs loudly into the night and early in the morning. Even when someone isn’t using the elevator, you can hear things clanging and banging in the motor room. Despite all this, it might even be worth a single night or two if it were super cheap here, but it’s not.

Great option to stay to visit Gibraltar as it’s very close to the border. The city center of La línea was very quaint as

+ Spacious, clean place and huge terrace with a great view. The host was extremely nice and very accommodating.

+ The view was amazing. Inside had everything we needed. Perfect location.

− There was nothing not to like. We were very happy.

Panoramic view.

+ Apartment in great location,supermarket and cafe straight across the road. Ten minute walk to the centre of la linea. Thirty minute walk to Gibraltar. Rooftop apartment,fantastic views and sun all day. Highly recommend.

− Nothing.

If you want perfect views and a relaxing holiday then this is it.

+ The decoration and facilities fantastic. The view from the roof terrace was beyond belief. Perfect.

− The noise from the lifts, but we got used to it.

Restless.

+ Not a lot

− The girl at the office hang up on when we were trying to get into the entrance, a resident let us in. The building was very dark with a tiny lift only one out of the two was working. When we were on the 11th floor the entrance to the flat was badly lit, then once through the caged stairway the place was dirty and very run down. We have taken photographs of the dirty walls and kitchen oven fridge/freezer, toilet brush was coated, we were kept awake most of the night with the lift shaft noise which is right next to the bedroom. There is a broken dining room chair with a sharp metal edge. There was no TV as such. Had to park car a one hundred meters away.
