Exceeded our expectations

We are currently staying at this hotel but reading some of the negative reviews makes me wonder if these people were actually staying here! All check-in staff, waiters, cleaners and barmen were polite, friendly and helpful - the rooms were spotless - everywhere you went, someone was cleaning something, gardeners were sweeping and raking leaves and maintenance men were painting and fixing something - the grounds and pool area were lovely and the food choices in the restaurant were infinite - something for everyone - I cannot fault our stay - thank you

Very Disappointed

Just back from there, rooms were nice enough and clean. Pool area was ok but no bar open at upstairs pool. Food was really disappointing, very bland in a Restaurant that felt like you were back in a school dinner hall. No atmosphere or ambience whatsoever, worse Hotel Restaurant I’ve ever ate in. They had a cooking station but even there the food was bland. The would just stick a tiny chicken thigh on with no seasoning or taste, all the food was the same. Even though I was All Inclusive I ate out most of the time. Watered down wine from a machine too. The worse All Inclusive I have ever been too. The only snack you could get during the day was these disgusting little hot dogs or a crepe. 10 mins walk to the Centre so not too bad. I personally wouldn’t stay there again x but if you are going to go I would recommend room only x

Nice hotel just an unfortunate experience

Lovely hotel with a convenient location. The staff were all lovely, and having the pool right outside our room was great. My only complaint is that our shower drain stopped working, causing the entire room to flood and some of our items to get damaged. Someone came to fix it, but the problem occurred again a day later, this time with dirty water getting ejected from the drain. When maintenance came, they had to plunge it, causing toilet water to flood the bathroom, and the entire place reeked. Luckily, we were checking out, so we didn't have to deal with the smell for long, but it was a real shame because we had a great stay other than that, we just wish the issue had been resolved the first time properly. If you are thinking of coming in winter, there is not really anything going on in the evening, but that was expected.

Lovely stay, perfect for couples or single travellers. Would certainly be back again.

Lovely stay at this hotel. Reading reviews before we travelled made us apprehensive but absolutely no need. On arrival we were greeted by a friendly lady on reception and checked in quickly. The room was a very spacious junior suite that still smelt of fresh paint so guess it’s just had a refurb. Asked for a sunny balcony and was a suntrap for a mornings by coffee. Complementary tea, coffee and water on arrival and a little fridge. Plenty for what we needed as we were AI. Shampoo, soap and shower gel in the bathroom. One thing I would say is we are both a little immobile and being in 1058 there wasn’t a lift system we did struggle a bit on the steps especially on arrival and departure with suitcases. My fault for not requesting an accessible room, but when reviews said there was a lift we presumed all rooms had lift access and they hadn’t. We managed . Pool areas were clean and well maintained and not overly busy so always plenty of beds. You get served quickly at the pool bar if the barman hasn’t disappeared that seemed to be quite regular. Restaurant clean with friendly staff that cleared tables efficiently. Ample choices of main dishesand freshly cooked. Also cooked to order. Great salad bar and puddings. We never struggled to find good tasty food during our stay. Evening entertainment was a bit grim and not every night and started too late for us but drinks were ok and service good in the upstairs bar. This was probably because we were out of season. Only a steady 10 minutes to the seafront and a few minutes more to the bars and restaurants. We walked different routes around the resort and had a couple of evening out for food and drinks in the resort. All in all a great stay and break.

A great place to stay, staff, room and food great.

Just arrived back from THB Royal in Playa Blanca. We arrived at 8.15 pm, check-in was quick and easy (we were the only ones). We were handed a sheet of paper with hotel information and a map of how to get to our room. Make sure you request a downstairs room if you have mobility issues as many of the rooms are accessed by steps, although there are lifts to take you up and down levels. Our room and its balcony were great, it smelt lovely and clean on entry without being overpowering (as it did every day that it was cleaned). The room had everything you need kettle, glasses, cups, however tea/coffee is not replaced so take your own or there is a well stocked shop onsite that you can purchase things from. The balcony was the best we have ever experienced, large with screening which kept you out the sometimes very strong wind. The towels in the room were lovely and soft and blackout curtains very effective. On our half board package there was a free of charge safe in the room. Pool towels require a 10 € returnable deposit. The restaurant is exactly as the pictures show, it is a bit like a canteen but the food was great, plenty of choice and what we both enjoyed was a selection of food cooked fresh as you wait at both breakfast and evening meals. The other plus was that a range of very good wine, beer and soft drinks were included with your evening meal, which was a real bonus. 20 minutes walk to Rubicón Marina with its lovely atmosphere. We have stayed in many European so called 5 star hotels, and although this is rated as a 4 star we would put this above many of them. Staff and maintenance teams worked tirelessly to keep up standards. All in all we would highly recommend, dispute the weather unusually letting us down.

No return hotel. Food very poor and accomodation basic and not clean

I love Playa Blanca and have stayed in many hotels there but this one was shocking. The room was functional but no assistance on arrival to find it and the layout was not easy to negotiate. The pool area was tired with several areas closed off including an old wooden steps to a balcony which had seen better days. The safe was broken and took 3 calls to reception to send a member of staff to reset it. Also the first day we were there rain water came in thrpugh the patio doors and the shower flooded the bathroom, again reported to reception and eventually after escalating this to the holiday company soneone came mopped up the water and gave us extra towels to put by the door. We reported rainwater coming in through the doors several times and each time a maid appeared with towels...strange as the hotel are now claiming we only reported it once. The room smelt of damp and speaking to our neighbours they told us it had flooded with the last occupants too. On closer inspection we saw saturated wood with damp on the base of the bedside tables explaining the smell. I have pictures of this and mould on the bathroom ceiling. Something the hotel again denies....come on honesty here would be appreciated as we have photographic evidence.

Please do not ignore and read about THB Royal Lanzarote

What an amazing experience and I truly thank 2 organisations for my 1st holiday since 2017 and that too, solo. A huge thank you to Kia from TUI Hayes branch, every box was ticked from the moment I stepped into the airport in the accessibility area to my return home. The hotel, although I was notified of minor work's on site, oddly behind my hotel room, I was not at any stage experienced any disturbance. Let's start with the staff, completely above and beyond, being disabled I was concerned but clearly for no reasons. The mobility scooter was kept by reception and to charge overnight, the restaurant staff, in particular Alessia (I hope that was her name), as soon as came into restaurant, she would wait for me to find where I was going to sit and whilst getting my food, upon return to table, I had beverages ready to my taste. The manager of THB Royal, again, there was nothing she couldn't accommodate, above and beyond. I only have one request and that is paella on the menu, don't get me wrong, the restaurant menu be it breakfast or dinner, it's freshly cooked and outstanding but paella once a week would be great and us Brits love our Sunday roast. For someone with more than one disabilities, I would highly recommend the THB Royal. I would also suggest if you are on mobility scooter like I am, don't bring yours, hire from Dan, very reasonable and completely suitable for the surface of the path's, mine probably would have struggled with some of the raised pavements, so please, Google search mobility scooter hire and choose Dan but more so choose this hotel, it's not far from seafront but set in quite lovely surroundings. I will definitely be coming to THB Royal real soon. Looking forward to seeing you all soon. Thank you so much for everything you all did in supporting me.

First Rate

This is a very clean and tidy hotel. In addition the staff are friendly and helpful. We had a junior suite to stay in with lots of space. The bathroom was well fitted with a first rate rainfall shower. The decoration at this hotel is minimalist to say the least. If you’re expecting lots of warm touches then they are not here. It does mean there are no cosy sitting areas and the public rooms echo a lot. I would definitely return.

Nice enough hotel in quiet area

Only purchased a budget room on last minute booking. My room orn 2nd floor over restaurant facing reception so maybe bit noisy in main season but was nicely quiet for me, great view of mountains and out over towards Marina in distance, lotsa sun til 3pm-ish. I can imagine certain rooms don't get sun/feel dark or damp but you have to tell reception asap and get moved. Room ( small suite) basic though spacious but clean enough (not UK clean but ok) . Couple of maintenance issues ie sliding wardrobe doors wouldn't stay shut & damp patch on ceiling -just ignored them and got on with my hol. Restaurant expensive if you're not All-inc . food is plentiful but quite bland and the lighting here and in the bar is garish. No idea why they can't make it more subtle. Aldi up the road is useful and if you need exercise the 15 min walk to town or marina is just right. L30 local bus very useful for around all of Playa Blanca. Generally an older style property, recently tarted up, pretty gardens and pools with most obliging friendly staff. If you've already booked don't worry it's fine ( from a regularly traveller )

A pleasant experience!

To be quite frank, my partner and I were a tad concerned given the reviews posted on TripAdvisor and Google, however, on our arrival we found the reviews to be unfounded. While we would not want to discount other people's experiences, we found THB Royal to be a pleasant stay. While I do not think the hotel will be everyone's cup of tea, particularly if you're looking to party, the hotel was plenty relaxing. The amenities are perfectly adequate, the pool has plenty of sunbeds and I can only imagine in the summer there are more than enough activities. The location is perfect, with a short walk to the beachfront and a short walk to the Aldi down the road (how it would take someone ten minutes to walk there is beyond me, as alluded to by a previous reviewer). Our room was absolutely superb, when in comparison to some dives we have stayed in (thinking back to a >4 star hotel in Naples), with good space, decent heating and air conditioning, comfortable beds, and no issues to note with the bathroom and drainage. The service from hotel staff was good, with friendliness, good communication, and helpfulness at every turn. Food was of a good variety, with everything prepared to a good standard, good taste, and something for everyone.

This hotel have issues

Spent 7 nights at THB Royal in playa blanca, travelled with my sister, we booked via TUI. We were really looking forward to relax and rest in the sun, and at first glance the hotel looks fantastic. We got a room on second floor by zen area and it is indeed a quiet and relaxing area. No sun at any point in the day on the balconies (we had 2), which was a bit disappointing but we spent the days by zen pool area instead, so it was fine. The pool was so cold that smaller children cried, but ot looked clean and was not at all crowded (probably because of the temperature?). Sunbeds are easy to find but not clean and when moving them a bit you can find rubbish under (we noticed a piece of food on first day that was still there 2 days later). Unfortunately, cleaning is not up to standard in the room either. The surfaces are never wiped off and floor is only wiped sloppy leaving hair and dirt, and never behind doors. We are both very mindful and clean (both have worked in service and particularly during seasons) so we put away our stuff every day to make cleaning easy, and even bought a little basket to keep our suncream, shampoo etc so it would be easy to lift while cleaning in the bathroom. This didn’t help, not sure if the sink was ever cleaned during our stay. We had some rain and wind the last three-four days, which is unfortunate but no one can control the weather, so we just made the best of it. However, rain leaked into the room, which can and should be controlled, so we reported it to reception (first time was on Friday) and maintenance (thank you serviceminded Eduardo!) came by and fixed a clogged drain on the balcony, and arranged with towels to dry up excess water over night. Sunday morning we woke up having half of bedroom floor flowed with water, which was very unpleasant, not to mention dangerous given the hotel-telephone cord was under water and we did not notice the wet floor until we stepped in it getting out of bed (electricity and water should never

Lovely hotel. Great service.

A lovely hotel set back from the busy front. Some steps but also a lift to the first floor level. Two pools. Lovely presented rooms with all you need and a balcony with table and chairs. The only thing I would change is put a lounger on balcony and brought the table and chairs inside. Very friendly helpful staff. This is very typical of Lanzarote buildings. Not your higher rise hotels which are not in keeping with traditional Lanza buildings. This was my first visit in over 25 years and it’s still as pretty. Shop is concur isn’t but expensive.

Just left today after a week I won’t be back there all seems nice enough, I stayed in 701 never gets any sun at any time of the day maybe just bad luck but having very little ventilation in studio mould on the ceiling through leakage from above very out dated we won’t be back no expel air system you have shower everything ends up damp health hazard in my opinion

Welcoming , clean , perfect base self catered

Having read the reviews I was anxious but this place is lovely ! A very clean and well equipped 2 roomed villa facing the pool , had my morning coffee on my balcony in the sun , there is a kettle , byo tea and coffee . The shower is excellent , there is a hairdryer and fridge . Towels are very lovely and cleaning daily except weekends . There is a small supermarket on site for milk , water etc . This is a perfect place for solo self catered base, 10 mins walk to the main promenade which has all the restaurants and shops . Great value at £650 for Jan winter sun !! 🌞

Wonderful clean, calm and welcoming hotel. You get what you pay for, so manage your expectations.

Depending on what kind of holiday you are looking for, and what your expectations are, this place is perfect. Looking for an all inclusive with a party atmosphere, constant noise and all day entertainment? This hotel is not for you. Wanting some sunshine and just need a base for your exploring? Looking for somewhere comfortable, clean, quiet and close to amenities? Then look no further. As a solo traveller I was apprehensive about booking, I read the reviews and most negativity seemed to be around the food so opted for room only. Was given a ground floor room, close to the reception and pool, classed by jet2 as a "junior suite". The room is very spacious with separate sleeping and living areas, and a large bathroom with a fantastic shower. Yes the water spreads a bit when you use it, but I just put a towel down at the outside of the shower. The hotel isn't luxurious or fancy, but it's set in lovely well established gardens and the staff I spoke to were all very polite and helpful. The room has been cleaned every day, and when I had an issue with my safe, someone from maintenance came to fix it within 10 minutes. Wi-Fi is free, as is the safe (first time ever I haven't had to pay extra for those). If you go looking for problems, you'll find them. Yes there are some cracked and broken tiles, yes there are small patches of mould or peeling paint, but I'm not on holiday to focus on such minor details. I found the bed very comfortable, I can reach the main coastal path in ten minutes, and the choice of places to eat around the resort is so plentiful I'm glad I'm not committed to eating at the hotel. Other reviews mentioned the noise, so I packed earplugs just in case. Due to being near the pool there's a constant 'hum' from the filters, and last night I could faintly hear the nearby nightlife, but wasn't disturbed by it. Overall, if you are looking for a good location for cheap, you can't go wrong with booking "room only" at this hotel. I will definitely be

DO NOT CHANCE

Poor hotel! We booked anyway despite the poor reviews just to try it and make our own decisions! Wish we never bothered and waisted our money! Not a 4 star… pushing to be a 3 Very rude staff, no help and definitely need to go on a smile course! Rooms are very basic, our room was full of mould, bathroom kept flooding in to the living room. Drains were blocked! Reported to reception. Rooms were not cleaned every day and we had to keep asking for clean towels. Asked for a low level room as we have a disabled child but got given a room with 4 steps up! Hotel is not disabled friendly! Location 20 mins walk from beach Poor facility Pools are absolutely freezing and not clean

Not a 4 Star hotel.

Stayed one week all inclusive . Very disappointed. No nighttime entertainment or daytime entertainment. Snacks were only hot dogs no sauces and crepes. Nothing else to eat in the day time. Food in restaurant was just okay. Lights didn't work outside our steps to our room. The room was very cold and damp. The bed wasn't great and the sheets were all pulled.. No atmosphere at all in the place. The staff were not friendly especially the receptionist he was very abrupt talking to customers. I can't understand how this is sold as a 4 star hotel.. Management need to employ more staff and train them to be polite and smile. The person working at the pool bar had to go between the bar and the crepe van which left people standing waiting to be served when there should have been more staff on. Only one barman in the upstairs bar was friendly. I would not holiday there again.

I would not stay again unless they invest in changes

We just got back from our Christmas break and stayed in one of the suites. The hotel grounds are lovely and well kept and that is a major plus but sadly lot of things I read in the reviews are true. The pools are freezing and our room had some serious mould (see the pics), the rooms are cleaned almost daily, clean towels and for deposit you can get beach towels. The reception area is very dated but do not mind that. It was the mould that I have issue with. Also some morning we would have a small pool of water under the window (not sure how that happened). The food and the drinks are also not a good quality and glad we first tried (as I read the reviews) and paid for breakfast. Family of four for breakfast was 64 £ and not tasty at all. The coffee is not great and the drinks neither but luckily Playa Blanca has incredible restaurants. When I wanted to upgrade I was told it is 72 Euros per person a day which I do not think is adequate of the quality sadly. There has been also lot of very different information from the staff. e.g on pricing of the food and where to pay so not very much in sync. Overall we had a great time in Playa Blanca and if THB does some serious changes it has potential.

If you are going to stay here room only is the best way.

We are just leaving after a 7 day stay. The place is spotless and kept that way. That’s a massive plus. Rooms are fine yes a little dated but comfy. We were B&B and I am so pleased that’s all we paid for. The breakfast was not the best we lived on toast for 6 days. The rest of the breakfast didn’t look the best. The coffee machines were empty more than full. The “fresh “ orange was warm and not fresh at all. The pools are freezing and in the 7 days we didn’t see anyone cleaning them like other hotels we have stayed in. The staff are friendly and the supermarket is fab and not expensive either. The bar is like sitting in a class room no atmosphere at all. Would we be back I don’t think so. The food lets it down massively and like I said I would be really upset if we had paid for AI.

Enjoyed my stay in this lovely, well run hotel.

I really liked this hotel. 8 nights solo trip for a well earned rest. Like many of the older hotels on the island, it's a bit shabby and the drains smell, but it's not selling itself as luxury and is priced in the budget range. The housekeeping in the rooms and grounds is outstanding which made the whole place feel cared for and raised the standard above other hotels in the age range. The pool and garden areas are gorgeous. 2 main pools, kept immaculately clean. It's laid out in a lovely village plaza-like feel with full grown trees and shrubs. Plenty of sunbeds with parasols with loads of choice within the lovely rambling plaza. My 2nd floor room had a separate bedroom and 2 balconies. Both twin beds are on the firm side, but that suited me so I had a great sleep. My only issue was on the first night, I realized I was across the Plaza from the disco. I hadn't expected it to be so noisy. Max in reception engaged with the issue and worked hard to find a room that would suit me better. In the end I liked my room so much I decided to watch tv with headphones until the entertainment finished - which wasn't too late. I did appreciate the effort to make my stay as comfortable as possible. The free wifi was good enough to stream movies, so even when I ran out of downloads I was good for stuff to watch on a tablet. I had breakfast included. The cooked breakfast was OK. Nice range of fresh yogurts, dried and fresh fruit, breads, pastries, meat and cheese. 10 minutes walk takes you to the first of 3 nice beaches. Another 10 minutes along the promenade to the marina. All staff were cheerful and friendly. I'll definitely return here for my annual solo break.

Disappointing Stay, Not Worth 4 Stars!

Overall Impression I give this hotel a rating of 2. The gardens are lovely, and the rooms look great from the OUTSIDE. But the inside of the rooms tell a completely different story. The rooms from my experience are: outdated, poorly maintained, and not polished as shown in the photos online. There is absolutely no soundproofing, and the gym equipment is extremely old. If you are looking for a relaxing and peaceful holiday, THB Royal is not the place to stay in my opinion. While the staff are friendly, the breakfast is decent, and the pools are well kept, my overall experience was far from peaceful, and I cannot recommend this hotel. This has been a frustrating and disappointing hotel experiences for me. Furthermore, the communication at reception is poor. If I could go back in time, I would never have stayed here. I also will not be staying at any THB hotels again. You can find my reasons below: I recently stayed at this hotel with my partner, and it was an absolute disappointment. To me there is nothing “royal” about it. I booked this trip specifically for REST. When making my reservation, I clearly requested a quiet room away from noise. However, I sadly received a room located directly next to ongoing construction. Had the hotel been upfront about the noise on the property, I would have chosen a different place to stay. Even at check-in, before making my payment, this could have easily been communicated, but it wasn’t. The room I was given, 751, seemed decent enough upon arrival. It had two spacious balconies, which was a nice touch. However, the safety of the main door is questionable, as part of the frame has cracks in it (see photo). On top of that, the constant loud drilling in that area gave me a headache within the first 24 hours of my stay (not exactly what someone expects on holiday). I went to reception on Saturday to ask whether the noise was temporary. The receptionist present informed me that construction is ongoing from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM (Monday

Mouldy damp room avoid

At first glance this hotel is ok for the price we paid. It's a 20 minute mostly flat walk down to Playa Dorada beach and the promenade of Playa Blanca and there is a Hiperdino supermarket 5 minutes walk away. The pools are ok and look clean enough and there is a food wagon poolside serving crepes for those staying all inclusive but I never saw anyone use it in the whole time we were here which was for 9 nights. Anyone not staying all inclusive has to pay €21 each for breakfast which for what's on offer we thought an absolute rip off. For anyone looking to hire a car during their stay there is lots of easy parking spaces right outside the hotel. We also found the beds and pillows to be very comfortable. Now for the negative points. The bathroom in our room had only one window which was at waist height right where you stand in the shower cubicle with a path directly outside that is very busy at most times with people walking to the pool/restaurant who can't help but see a full view of anyone using the shower. We found this ridiculous design fault really quite odd. The shower room desperately needs an extractor fan, as does the lounge area which was quite damp even with the air conditioning on as warm as the settings will allow. The dampness in the room has resulted in black mold on most of the walls and ceilings which creates an extremely dangerous and unhealthy environment for anyone especially for those with asthma or a lowered immune system like my wife who is receiving cancer treatment. If it had been left to me I would have demanded to be given another room but my wife didn't want to make a fuss at the time or have the confrontation with the staff. We've now been home for 2 days and both of us have nasty chest infections that we've never had before after visiting the Canaries. On our last day we were getting picked up by the coach at 12:30 and had in our contract that we had to vacate our room before 12 noon which we were happy about. At 9:45 we had the maids w

Not 4star

Could be so much better ! The main issue is the food , def not 4 star worthy and always lukewarm Drinks ok but the cocktails on AI are syrup concoctions with added alcohol , not a cocktail shaker in sight . Room huge with twin beds / lounge area , bathroom and balcony , free safe . Staff are all friendly and the Animation team member doing his utmost to get people joining in . WiFi hit n miss . No snack bar to be seen so All inclusive was the 3 mark n meals served in dining room . Crepe van was nice but a bit too o specific with what they offered , no variety Zen pool quiet for relaxing Would I return - no

Extremely disappointed ☹️

When we entered our accommodation my heart dropped it looked as though most of the furniture had been removed! The rooms are very tired and lacking in many respects. However everything was spotlessly clean and the cleaning staff did an amazing job. The pool was lovely with no shortage of sunbeds. The opening times given on arrival are a joke. The crêpe van was advertised as being open all day and it wasn't, we never saw a snack bar open - it was as though the hotel was winding down for winter. There were quite a few more things that all lead me to give this hotel (and I am being very generous) a 3* rating. The food was ok but lukewarm. We made the best of our week away but would definitely not return. There is a lot of work to do here.

Great hotel for a late winter break.

We stayed at this hotel between 9th-16th November 2025. 2 Days before we left, we saw 3 reviews on here that were not brilliant, so we traveled with some trepidation. We arrived late at night, but the staff were friendly and helpful, and we found our room easily using the map. We had a junior suite (756), which was perfect, and If you want peace and quiet, ask for a room in the 'Zen' area. It had a big bedroom, nice bathroom, 2 balconies, and a decent lounge. The A/C was also efficient and effective. It was spotless, and had no issues with it at all. Have to say the staff in all areas and departments were excellent; friendly, helpful, and efficient, so that is a big plus. The complex has two pools; one near reception, which has a snack van and cafe bar, or the 'Zen' pool which is quieter. We spent most of our time there, but our only issue was the number of cleaning trolleys that went through this area every hour. We once counted and it averaged at between 12-16/hour. Whilst it might not be a big thing, when you're relaxing and/or sleeping, it can wake you up. Dining is like many hotels in the Canaries - hit and miss. My wife is a vegetarian, but most nights there wasn't a great choice on offer other than salad, pizza, chips, or on occasion, a token veggie dish. We never had a theme night, or at least not one that was advertised as one. Breakfast was the same every day, but guess you can't alter it that much. Finally, as in most similar hotels, not just this one, the food was normally luke warm/cold at best, unless you got it straight off the griddle. But there was a microwave as well, so usually heated mine up in that - although shouldn't have to do that every time. There is a bar on site, but it is not what I would call 'friendly', or having a good atmosphere. This is mainly because it has white walls, no pictures, plastic chairs and tables, and is not comfortable. Be nice if they made it more welcoming; nice comfy seating, pictures, lamps instead of LED lighti

Nice suite but book somewhere else

Junior suite was lovely by the side of the zen pool. Very peaceful. Pool absolutely freezing. All members of staff spoke to were friendly and welcoming. The hotel is quite far from any restaurants, bars etc and in our opinion not walkable (climb and walk daily at home). Had a huge problem with mosquitos and struggled to sleep until purchased antihistamines. Obviously hotel cannot help this. Was looking forward to team games etc but nothing. once heard young man for 5 minutes at the 'lively" pool (ha ha!) . Evening entertainment was almost zero. Felt so sorry for the one young man who tried his best to engage the dozen or so people with karaoke or pop quizzes. It must have been soul destroying for him. The young family in the next suite went out every evening as there wasn't any children's entertainment. No clubs,no mini disco. in our 60s and enjoy peace and quiet but this was miserable. Spoke to quite a few people who all said they went out in the evening as there was nothing here. Food was usual AI. Staff in the restaurant worked extremely hard. Trips are easy to book by reception team. Lovely rainforest shower. Would we come again in November to this hotel. I would say no. Food and entertainment are important and the food was standard and there was hardly any entertainment. Poor boy tried his best though.

Do NOT stay here

This place had rude staff, refused to follow up on a single request, had paltry amenities, and was unpleasant overall. They have the phone lines broken so you have to go to reception for any concern, and then they say they'll do something and never do. There is NOT wifi throughout. It is incredibly unreliable. I asked TWO times about broken air conditioning, I asked TWICE for them TO CLEAN MY BED SHEETS and they NEVER DID, and I asked FIVE TIMES to have help with wifi NOT WORKING and they never showed up. Further, the water is NOT drinkable but they don't even give water on checkin to have anything. If you are charging over 100/night and can't even provide wifi or cleaning services, and are regularly rude to guests, you deserve poor reviews. Good shower pressure I guess. Beds hard as a rock. Fridge doesn't work. No food or activities nearby, the car rental people are never there except an hour a day (and overcharge more than anywhere nearby), and the excursion options are horrible. Go into other hotels and work with them instead.

Unless you are French entertainment excludes other nationalities. No facilities to buy a hot snack pizzeria closed !!!!

As the hotel has a contract with a French company other nationalities are excluded as the hotel is focussed on the French

Yes, it’s a French hotel — but the staff were very friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. Breakfast was okay, although we’ve had better ones at other hotels in the Canary Islands, so we were expecting a bit more. Parking was never a problem, as there was always space available right in front of the hotel. Our room was brilliant: very spacious, well-equipped, and the air conditioning and fridge were a big plus. Supermarkets are within walking distance, and there’s even one located inside the hotel itself. The gym area is located downstairs in a rather unusual spot and definitely has some room for improvement, but it’s still a nice bonus to have. The location is excellent — just a short walk to the beach and Playa Blanca with plenty of restaurants and shops around. The atmosphere is calm and relaxed, with a slightly older crowd staying at the hotel. Conclusion: We would definitely consider coming back if we found a good deal.

Staff were friendly and helpful, and the facilities were all clean and in order. There's two pools, with the one closer to reception being considerably warmer than the other and being where most of the hotels activities took place. Had booked this up quite late, so really wasn't expecting much, but I'm happy to say that I was pleasantly surprised and I'd definitely book up here again.

Very spacious, a big room for 1 person, good size balcony/ terrace . 2 downsides were the bathroom window was a bit dodgy and water was coming in the room through the front door as it wasn't locked tight enough you could see daylight underneath and through the sides

Ice baths not swimming pools!

Disappointing, could be so much better. Certainly don’t do the All Inclusive. When we arrived we were happy with our room on ground level around the zen pool. Nice looking buildings and pool area. Zen pool area is the quietest. We had a junior suite and the room itself was basic but absolutely spotless and the beds were really comfy. Although on day 4 a drains smell started to arise in the bathroom. Thankfully we were leaving the next day but I fear this would have been a problem if we were staying longer. Unfortunately all the pools including the children’s pools were ice cold. They really were unbearable. I struggled to get in the pool myself and when I tried to take my 2year old in she shrieked and burst into tears upon entering with shock as it was so cold. Needless to say that was the pool ruled out after 20 seconds on day 1. At least have the small children’s pools heated, that’s not a lot to ask in February when it’s a family resort. The bar at the zen pool was closed the whole time we were there so we had to shlep down to the main pool area to get a drink during the day. This was a pain. As for the drinks… beers were ok but the white rum tasted like coffee and the cocktails were rank. The Coke was also flat the whole time we were there ! The food was dire. One big canteen with food that was barely edible. I even struggled at breakfast to find something half decent. Our daughter has a cows milk allergy and practically everything they put out had cows milk in it. We were all inclusive so this was really, really disappointing. We’ve stayed in 4* AI before and this is defo no where near 4* . Unfortunately we won’t back to this hotel.

Just okay. But Enjoyable.

Nice hotel. Look ls a bite tired in some area. Room was okay and well serviced but did smell a bit musty. Facilities were good; lots going on at the pool but it was exclusively being done in French and most of the staff spoke to you in French (my French is worse than my Spanish) but it was great to spend some time in Spain trying to learn French whilst eating a pizza, drinking a German beer.
