Great stopover location for onward travel to/from Calais

+ Great location, clean room & good little restaurant

− Corridor outside the room needed a good clean & some air freshener, and the hotel is getting a bit tired

OK with excellent breakfast.

+ Breakfast was excellent. Parking was easy. Bed was good.

− We would have liked some milk with the coffe/tea facilities in the room. There was not a small towel that I could have around my hair when coming out of the shower. We had a feeling that we might have had a room on top of a laundrette or some thing like that, as there was a feeling of the washing machine spinning. When people talked out side the room, it was as if they were in the room with us. After having driven since the evening before and all through the night and day, we just wanted to have some tea/coffee and see some television. However, there was not one single channel in a language we understood! Only in French. I know we were in France, but if you stay at a hotel in Germany, Holland, Denmark etc. there are various channel with different languages to choose between. This was very disappointing.

+ Amplasarea locației aproape de port, personalul cald și deschis tuturor străinilor, restaurantul deschis toată ziua ( f.f. important pentru cei care ajung seara și nu mai au alte opțiuni de luat cina în oraș). E locația perfectă pentru o noapte, înainte de-a te urca pe feribot sau de-a porni la un drum lung prin Europa.

− Cameră mică, mobilier vechi, priveliștea de la geamul mic, nu tocmai plăcută, baia ciudată ( parcă eram într-o capsulă minusculă, închisă, undeva în univers), și ce era cel mai ciudat, UȘILE groaznic de grele ( mai ales pentru cei vârstnici).

+ Close to the car ferry. They do serve breakfast but we did not have it as wanted to get on the road.

− Terrible room! Dirty, small, and badly in need of proper renovation. The pillowcases were dirty. The staff were unfriendly and didn’t even provide any information about breakfast. The soundproofing is terrible. You can hear people sneezing and talking as if they were right inside your room. Simply the worst hotel.

− Zimmer winzig, Hotel total heruntergekommen, Boden klebte, es war stickig und das Fenster kaum zu öffnen

Very enjoyable stay

+ Clean, comfortable, welcoming and value for money. Really enjoyed our stay, service is professional but friendly and relaxed.

+ After a long drive I was pleased to see that tea/coffee was available in the room, but I was mystified that milk was not provided. I asked the receptionist and she gave me some in a paper cup. Our evening meal in the restaurant was excellent.

− When we initially arrived the receptionist didn't smile and was very abrupt with us. She did however become more friendly as the evening went on when we were eating in the restaurant.

Great place for a stop over

+ Convenient for ferry, nice welcome- comfortable room and surprisingly good breakfast

− Nothing basic but value for money

+ Plenty of space for parking, quiet residential area

− We were very disappointed with the size of the room, we have a medium sized dog and there wasn't room for our luggage, ourselves and the dog. Very basic.

For what it is, it’s perfect

− Bottom floor window security was just lip service. Only stay there with a security guard on watch. Choose the upper floor for security.

+ Für unseren Zweck (Zwischenstop auf dem Weg nach England) war es ok. Das Zimmer war klein, aber sauber. Die Betten waren bequem.
