Inturotel Cala Azul

+ Hôtel tranquille, très beau, belle piscine et la mer wow !

+ Parking was tough but possible. Area around had good places to eat. Hotels elevator was broken and didn’t have a bell hop or a cart to use to bring one bags all the way up to the 4th floor. My husband and I had to bring them one by one from the lobby to our building and then lift them to the 4th floor. Pricing was a bit high, more like a large hotel price, but you weren’t getting the large hotel amenities. Pool was nice so was beach access

+ Absolutely incredible location and views. Excellent room, excellent food, excellent service, excellent amenities. I would rate inturotel cala azul a 20 put of 10. Exceeded all expectations. We will be coming back!

+ This hotel is great for families. It gives you a resort style of place without any of the resort amenities. Has 2 big pools (although you have to wake up super early to get chairs and an umbrella). Has a cala which is so convenient. It's about an 18 minute walk to the town centre. Has restaurant options about 100 metres away. My issues with this hotel is the rooms need upgrades (at least the building we stayed on). We had to carry all our luggages to the 3rd floor since there were no elevators on our building. We were a family of four with a toddler. They have no one that offers to help. Plus parking can be a pain, depending on the hour you came back to the hotel. One of the nights, we had to park 5 blocks away because there was no parking on the premisses or near the hotel. If non of this bothers, location is great but don't expect luxury. It wasn't cheap either

+ The only saving grace about this hotel is the location, near the beach and town. The service was horrendous. The hotel was so jam packed we couldn’t even get a spot on a beach/pool chair the entire time we were visiting, what a waste considering we paid for this location to use those facilities. Upon check in, they let us know that if items are left unattended on chairs for 20+ minutes, the pool guard will remove them so others can sit. Obviously that wasn’t mandated. The hotel is so cheap, not even shampoo and conditioner was included? Towels cost extra, etc. Our room wasn’t even cleaned when we were there. The maid did attempt to clean our room on the morning that we were checking out, and let herself in at 9am WITHOUT KNOCKING while we were still sleeping!!! Simply ridiculous, don’t expect anything to be included - may as well have stayed at an airbnb. Don’t expect any peace and quiet if you are staying here, the hotel is packed like sardines. People screaming all night long and you can hear everything from your room. Rooms are large but outdated and the beds aren’t comfortable. Food was okay but nothing special.

+ This place was incredible. Not sure why some people comment negatively about it. Pools are lovely, the rooms were cleaned every day except Thursdays and Sundays which was never an issue. Yes, the rooms are not as fancy as the sister hotel, but that hotel just had a renovations. We will come back again to the same property . The location is the best. Seriously cannot fault anything.

+ Comfortable hotel in a very touristy environment . Staff not very welcoming (especially restaurants by the pool). Limited comfort in pool/beach . Beaches are nice but Town setting is tourist shops only.. need to drive 20/40 Minutes to reach nice local town

+ On arrival the staff seemed friendly but when I queried if we could have a room that didn’t look out on to the room the lady rolled her eyes at me. Another lady came over who was more pleasant but wanted to charge more for a room just a bit further down. Even after spending a lot of money for 7 days plus in Esmeralda Park. Nowhere on my booking did it say we would be facing the road. Rooms are covered in black mould in the bathrooms and there are dead bugs splattered all over the walls. Children sleeping on grubby sofas is not acceptable and it should be pull out beds. The pool was vile, so dirty and the sun beds and parasols seem to be about 30 years old. That was when you could actually get one which we couldn’t until the lifeguard moved someone’s stuff which then made them shoot at us. The reception staff talk about customers rudely after they have checked in. I genuinely have never in all my years travelling had reception staff like them. The breakfast staff were lovely though as were the lifeguards. Pool bar staff were quite blunt. Never ever again will I stay at an Inturotel in my life time. Even more so after seeing the structure collapse on top of people at Esmeralda Park. Shoddy cheap work putting profit before people’s safety.

+ Not much to say—rooms weren’t cleaned daily, towels were missing, and everything came with an extra charge.

+ There were a few things that Expedia said that was not available to us. First, there was no elevator and we had to walk 3 flights of stairs with our luggage. Then, we were told because we booked through Expedia we get no room changes, no soap, no hair shampoo/conditioner, no dishwasher detergent, nothing. We were told to go through Expedia and the hotel did nothing. The check in lady was not helpful. After contacting Expedia, they were also not helpful and did nothing. So, pretty much everyone was useless and I had to buy my own soaps! The only thing nice about the hotel was our partial view of the beautiful water.

+ Did not have air conditioning in my room the whole time and i was told by the front desk attendant that because i was not superior. It was very noisy in the mornings with housekeeping cleaning the rooms and had not realized it was a family oriented resort... so children all over the place. Otherwise, the place was beautiful. The island was just breathtaking.

Great stay!

+ Fabulous hotel! Right on a beautiful beach, with a lovely pool, the hotel is great for family’s! Other beaches were a quick 5/10 minute walk and center 15 minute walk max! Bus services are easy to navigate and stop right outside the hotel, but mostly everything is within walking distance! The staff were also great! Sonia who checked us in was informative, warm and very friendly! Would definitely recommend this hotel!

+ It was perfect. The hotel photos don’t do it justice and it is so family orientated. The kids had a ball it was perfect Adults well catered for too.

+ The beach connected to the property was stunning, however the actual property was poorly maintained. There were cracks, in the tiles, our toilet wouldn’t flush, the shower was faulty. This was overall a very poor hotel experience.

+ Overall love this property. It is clean, it is in the town so you can walk to the nearby restaurants. The property itself is diverse and offers multiple pools along with other activities such as ping pong, etc. The one (and very large) downside is the parking situation which is why I could not give a 5 star rating. The property is on a dead end road, with parking all along it, however the spots were completely filled for the duration of our stay. The front desk notified us of a parking lot, which was blocks away from the hotel, and was very small and also filled. Although I loved this hotel, I would not be returning because I had to wait over an hour each time I left the hotel with my car for a spot to open up, and then had to drag the luggage blocks to my hotel room. The property itself is so large, they should have dedicated some of it to a parking garage of some sort to make it more manageable for guests.

+ My stay was amazing, barring a misunderstanding when I arrived. The property was perfect and right on the beach, pools were great and the entertainment fantastic. There were plenty of restaurants and a short 10 minute walk into Cala D’Or central. Definitely recommend.

+ Our second trip to Cala d'Or and we loved it. The hotel is perfectly located by the sea and the beach, in a really beautiful cove. The hotel and surroundings are maintained to a very high standard. The staff are very helpful and there are shops and restaurants on the doorstep. We were self catering but we did use the snack bar by the pool and it was very good. We will be going back!

Lovely hotel, lovely location

+ Great hotel, great amenities and a lovely location. Breakfast was ok and loads of lovely restaurants/shops nearby. The beaches were beautiful with crystal clear water!

+ Grear Breakfast, well kept apartments, lovely pool areas and great jump off spot at hotel to go snorkelling in the sea!

+ Beautiful resort property with nice roomy kitchenette units with patios and great views. Wonderful location being close to many restaurants and shopping. No real town here just a tourist haven. Perfect part of the island. No snorkeling equipment to rent at the property or anywhere close by.

Great place to stay

+ Fantastic apartments in a great location, very clean, very comfortable. We stayed b&b and there was a good selection of breads, cooked breakfast, fruit, yogurt and cereals. There was also pancakes or waffles with sauces.

+ Had a lovely stay at the resort. We requested a sea view and got a self catering room looking directly onto the sea which was stunning. Staff were polite and helpful, pool cafe was enjoyable. We hired a car and were able to park outside easily. We swam in the sea - choice of steps into the sea from the apartments or a 2 minute walk across the road to the beach so perfect. We didn't choose to use the pool regularly as it was very busy and noisy. Should also be noted that the inside pool is closed during summer months - we may have overlooked this in the small print. Short walk to the shop each morning for fresh coissants.

+ Muy recomendable este hotel. No pudimos disfrutas al 100 todas las instalaciones porque salimos a conocer las calas de Majorca pero el poco tiempo que estuvimos ahí nos encanto!!! El desayuno del hotel nos gusto mucho.
