Sandrine, la reine d'hospitalité

+ The bed and breakfast was fabulously located in the shadow of the palace, near parking and the best restaurants in town. But by far the highlight of our stay was the impeccable hospitality of Sandrine, our host, who attended to our every need. Her genuine warmth was on desplay at all times. She even walked me to a parking kiosk 10 minutes away to assure i wouldnt be overcharged. When she broke her toe, she carried on serving us breakfast and her enthusiasm never waivered.

Great B&B in great location

+ Great hosts greeted us warmly. Delicious breakfast, great location.

+ I had a small room on the third floor, but wonderful Fabrice (the host-husband) generously offered to carry my bag. The room was clean and nice. There are many living spaces to enjoy outside the room too. The breakfasts were wonderful and fresh. Most importantly, location, location location. Terrific, historic, central to everywhere you want to stroll. The historic square mere steps away is loaded with fabulous restaurants. I throughly enjoyed my stay at the b and b of this lovely and helpful couple. Thank you Veronique and Fabrice.

+ We had a lovely stay at Le Banasterie hotel. The room was clean, quiet, excellent location, breakfast with homemade goodies delicious and the friendliness and helpfulness of our hosts made the stay a real joy. Thank you !!!

+ Parking is an issue.

+ We SO LOVED staying at this beautiful property. It is truly cared for and every detail and need attended to. They serve a wonderful breakfast..and make fantastic coffee too! This is a must stay at. Everything is so close for walking, amazing restaurants steps from their front door and shops super close as well.

+ This place is wonderful. The owners, Fabrice and Veronique, treated us like family. They have renovated an ancient house with modern conveniences but at the same time have retained the magical charm of the buildings history. All the major attractions are within walking distance, as well as wonderful restaurants and sidewalk cafes.

+ Narrow, tricky stairs. Not for anyone who has mobility problems. Same thing for brekfast for five days in a role. Otherwise, wonderful room, friendly host/hostess, good location.

+ Loved our stay and the owners are delightful. The room we chose has very low ceilings and no shower, would be tough for a tall person.

+ We stayed four nights and had a wonderful time in Avignon and used the b&b as a base for many daily cycling trips in the surrounding area. The hosts served a great breakfast to get us started in the mornings.

+ The breakfast was delicious. The hosts are lovely and make every effort to accommodate your needs. It’s worth the trip to Avignon just for their restaurant recommendations.

+ This B&B had old world charm and was in a great location. Veronique & Fabrice were great hosts. They provided a map and recommendations for good places to eat. The bed was comfortable, and the room was quiet. The breakfast was good and one day they accommodated us for an early breakfast request.

Avignons Best Boutique Hotel

+ Excellent communication, gorgeous boutique hotel with all amenities and a superb breakfast served with care and detail.

+ Super time here. Very stylish and comfortable and a warm welcome from hosts. Excellently situated - walkable from city station from where it’s a short hop to the TGV.

+ Avignon is a fantastic place to visit, and I am glad I was able to take my wife there to see it (I had visited it before, 40 years ago). La Banasterie was beautiful, clean, comfortable, safe and literally steps away from the major sites in Avignon. The owners were extremely helpful, even helping me figure out how to retrieve and item I left on the train. If we ever visit again, I would not hesitate to stay in this same location.

+ A fantastic hotel/bed and breakfast! The hosts are super nice, friendly and helpful. The location was perfect, close to everything including public the pope’s palace and parking. The apartment was excellent, clean and comfortable. We slept very well! Breakfast was delicious! We are a family of four w two teenagers and this B&B was perfect for us.

Maison d'hôtes d'exception sur Avignon

+ Très bon séjour pour moi à la banasterie. Une maison d'hôtes avec un charme fou, un accueil des plus chaleureux et de très bons conseils pour profiter d'un bon restaurant le soir sur la Place des Châtaigne (Le Coin Caché). J'y retournerai, sans hésiter, pour mon prochain passage sur Avignon.

+ The hosts could not have been nicer and more helpful. Room was as quaint as could be, with two large rooms, a terrace as well, breakfast was great.

+ Breakfast is excellent and we will love to come back and stay here again.

+ Hosts Véronique and Fabrice were warm and helpful, with great recommendations for local restaurants. Homemade yogurt, jam, and muesli made for a wonderful breakfast each morning. The house is historic and beautiful, with nice common areas and a wonderful rooftop terrasse. Perfect location in the old town, easy walking distance to Avignon's historic sites.

+ We spent 2 nights in this lovely, historic guesthouse in the centre of Avignon. The hosts were very welcoming. They could not have been more helpful. For example they provided us with information on what to see and where to eat in the town.

+ We had a lovely time! The owners were both incredibly nice and helpful and the breakfast they provided was amazing. It is very well located on a quiet street and very close to cafes, restaurants and attractions.
