Schöne rustikale Wohnung in einem sehr schönen Ort zum Entspannen.

+ die Wohnung hat einen tollen rustikalen Stil mit einer sehr schönen Atmosphäre. Wir waren zwei Nächte in diesem idyllischen Ort und haben die Ruhe genossen. Die Lage ist ideal für Ausflüge zum Teide Nationalpark. Wir waren schon vor zwei Jahren hier und werden sehr gerne wiederkommen.

− Es gibt nichts zu beanstanden. Die Fenster sind etwas alt und zum hochschieben etwas unpraktisch. Aber sie passen zum Stil der Wohnung.

+ Bardzo dobra lokalizacja obiektu – wszystko jest w zasięgu ręki. Sklep znajduje się dosłownie 10 kroków od apartamentu, co jest ogromnym udogodnieniem. Sam układ mieszkania jest dość dyskusyjny, ale jednocześnie ciekawy i nietuzinkowy, podobnie jak jego wystrój, który nadaje wnętrzu charakteru. Dużym atutem jest również liczba sypialni oraz obecność dwóch łazienek, dzięki czemu apartament świetnie sprawdza się dla większej grupy osób. Na plus jest również kontakt z właścicielami, którzy umożliwili nam wcześniejsze rozpoczęcie doby.

− Największym minusem była bardzo wysoka temperatura w apartamencie – o godzinie 23 w sypialni termometr wskazywał 31°C, co znacznie utrudniało sen. Apartament zdecydowanie wymaga klimatyzacji. Dodatkowo regulacja temperatury wody praktycznie nie działała – można było uzyskać jedynie wrzątek albo lodowatą wodę. Hałas z ulicy był słyszalny od wczesnych godzin porannych, jednak jest to raczej nieodłączny element życia w tej części miasteczka.

Excellent point de départ pour visiter le parc national du Teide

+ Le logement est situé dans une ancienne maison rénovée au centre du village de Vilaflor, sur un des axes qui mène au parc national du Teide (la station du téléphérique est à +/- 40 minutes du village). Elle dispose de tout le confort nécessaire, pour y résider à l'aise pendant plusieurs jours. Nous étions quatre et n'avons jamais été à l'étroit. Il peut y faire un peu chaud en journée, mais avec l'altitude, la température à l'intérieur redescend très vite dès le début de la soirée. La propriétaire est charmante et répond à toutes les sollicitations. Je recommande.

+ La atención y accesibilidad de Nuria, la dueña, y su interés en que le avisáramos para cualquier cosa que necesitáramos. Además, la ubicación de la casa es perfecta para acceder al Parque Nacional del Teide. La cocina está muy bien equipada. El tamaño de la casa es perfecto para 3-4 personas. Que haya 2 baños es algo que también se agradece mucho. La casa está en una zona bastante tranquila

− Los colchones de las camas. Necesitábamos hacer uso de 2 de las 3 camas, y la segunda más grande tenía un colchón muy, muy blando. Por ello tuvimos que hacer uso de la tercera cama por tamaño, y el colchón de ésta es especialmente pequeño. Por otro lado, en la ducha del baño grande no es fácil encontrarle una temperatura de agua constante. Por último, la casa por la noche acumuló temperatura del resto del día y, aunque había ventilador en los dormitorios, se echó en falta aire acondicionado.

Un séjour "comme à la maison" dans un des plus beaux villages de Tenerife

+ Emplacement dans le quartier historique et de l'église, à proximité d'une jolie place où l'on trouve d'agréables restaurants. La maison est une bâtisse ancienne mais chaleureuse. La déco agrémente le "charme". La cheminée (non-utilisée) doit être un vrai plus en saison froide. On se sent bien, comme chez soi. Nous sommes venus à l'occasion du trail "Vertical Hermano Pedro" et l'emplacement était idéal.

− Avec un peu de déco supplémentaire, cet endroit pourrait être qualifié de "charmant et rustique". Personnellement je remplacerai les lits de 140 et 120 cm dans les chambres seraient par des 160 cm. Les canapés dans le salon sont un peu rustiques, un petit coup de cire et ils reprennent vie… un plus assuré au confort général. Ça reste un très bel endroit ! N'hésitez pas !

+ Beaucoup d'espace : 3 chambres pour 3 adultes. Très bien situé près restaurant et épicerie. Parking aisé dans la rue. Village très agréable. Propriétaire sympa et réactif.

+ Une hôte à l'écoute, très disponible, bienveillante et avec dimension humaine merveilleuse.

+ Charming apartment at the top of the village near all the facilities. Cottagey environment with plenty of equipment which all worked!

− The beds were not very comfortable.

+ Bardzo klimatyczny apartament usytuowany w samy centrum miasteczka. Bardzo dobre wi-fi. Gospodarz bardzo szybko odpisywał na pytania i prośby dotyczące pobytu. Kuchnia w pełni wyposażona. Do najbliższej restauracji 2 kroki :) Grzejniki elektryczne na wyposażeniu, co się przydaje zimą na 1400m npm ;-) Obłędny widok z tarasu. Szybki dostęp do tras trekkingowych.

− Pierwszego dnia wieczorem miałem problemy ze znalezieniem wolnego miejsca na zaparkowanie samochodu. W kolejnych dniach nie było już żadnego problemu.

+ The place is so cozy! Fireplace with woods, different kinds of olive oil, dining room, roof terrace and very nice interior. Nice family restaurant next doors, a gocery store 1min walk away.

+ Authentic house with fireplace. Very clean. Kitchen with everything needed. Smart TV and WiFi. Parking on the streets nearby.

− It is very cold in winter, and the water is only lukewarm rather than hot (gas heater). As a result, you are constantly dealing with the cold. Given the high mountain location, this place is better suited for summer stays.

Excellent, fully equipped apartment

+ Easy check in. Very communicative and welcoming host. Excellent location. The apartment is very clean. Kitchen is very well equipped, including coffee machine, rice cooker, toaster, kettle etc. There is also a seperate dining room, three bedrooms, two bathrooms and spectacular terrace on the roof top. TV has Netflix. The apartment was decorated for Christmas. There is a washing machine and the detergent is available. It is visible that owner put a lot of effort to make you feel at home and that there is everything you need

− It was very cold in the apartment - there are electric heaters, but they are too small to keep the whole apartment warm enough. I was sleeping in the smallest bedroom to be able to keep it warm at night. There is also a fire place, but I was not able to make the fire as the timber was moist and didn't catch the fire. Would be great if the apartment would be preheated before guest arrival in winter (December). That was the only thing that bothered me.

+ Everything was great, the apartment is beautiful, it has everything you need (including coffee), and is very well located if you want to wake up early to climb up the Teide. Our host was great, she was always very responsive, kind, warm and available!

+ Zeer rustige locatie met een uitstekende restaurant onder het appartement en in het dorp een zeer goede bakker.

− Moet wat geluk hebben met de parkeerplaatsen in de straat en voor mij waren de matrassen veel te hard.

Spacious and beautiful home in a great location!

+ Great location high up the mountain flank (~1500m above sea level) but still easy to drive roads. Beautiful views from the rooftop and great views of the stars at night. Spacious and well-equipped kitchen, a lot of well-maintained rooms including two full bathrooms. Great location for starting hikes or car rides in the direction of the Teide.

− It would have been nice to have a small table and a parasol on the rooftop. But that really is a nitpick.

Superb

+ Vilaflor is out of the turistic zone, closed to Teide Park, basically in the middle between beaches and Teide. For us, it was a great location to combine hiking in Teide Park with swimming on the south beaches. The house is a big typical canarian house, with the terrace on the roof where we could watch the stars, which was very nice. There was everything we needed for our family. The communication with the host was easy, checking in /checkout without physical contact, but we were in contact by phone.

− It would be great to have a possibility for waste separation as we used to separate a trash in our country. Take also into account that there is no air-conditioning and you will have to open windows in hot summer weather, it means mosquitos inside, and also windows are not super easy to open. Although It's not a big issue. Vilaflor is a nice village, but we had a couple of unpleasant experiences with locals: the lady in the nearest shop sold us rotten peaches, and she perfectly knew what she was doing. It's a shame to sell bad products to family with kids, she saw that we are tourists and she can sell everything. In the local small restaurant Tito, the guy ignored us and didn't come to take an order when I asked him in English. We were waiting for some time, and then we left, and he didn't say anything. Maybe we were just unlucky.

Good place to stay for walking and cycling. Lots of places to eat and drink.

+ Location was good for bus services. Near to cafes and restaurants.

− Was winter so means of starting fire. kindling and paper would be helpful. More logs and somewhere to put ashes also needed.

A cozy little home, perfect for exploring Teide!

+ Spacious and had everything we needed for a quick one night stay! Easy check in and hosts were super accommodating!

− Luckily we found street parking right around the corner, but otherwise the recommended parking lot is a bit of a walk (especially with luggage)!

+ Friendly welcome as my Friend and I were confused after a long day of hiking on the GR131. We speak no Spanish but everyone was super helpful and check in was smooth. Big apartment- we had ample room to sleep and both could use a different bathroom! Great interior and we loved the patio. Full kitchen along with a washing machine was great for us after a hard day of hiking! Clean and spacious in a great small town.

− The place was great, near perfect, and i only have one suggestion because i want to help the host with their clear goal of providing such a good experience and to take it to perfection… The TV’s network connection didn’t seem to be strong enough via wifi… Simple fix, connect it with an Ethernet cable… or bring your own, they’re cheap and portable.

+ Beautiful apartment that has it all in terms of equipment. Also there is a beautiful view of the whole town and surrounding mountains from the rooftop terrace. We enjoyed our stay and would come again.

− The bed felt quite short for me, but that seems to be the case in general in this island. I should add that I am quite tall (193cm) so this would not be an issue for everyone.

+ Nice friendly hosts who met us upon arrival and showed us around. Lovely traditional Canarian property with authentic features. Clean and comfortable, we particularly enjoyed the log fire! Right in the centre of town where there are some really good restaurants including the one next door. A good base for hiking/sightseeing locally and in Teide National Park.
