A wonderful relaxing gem by the sea!

+ The property was centrally located, had fantastic views, was clean and spacious and an ideal spot for a young couple on holiday in Corralejo. It is fully equipped with everything you need to do self catering, and there are 4 grocery shops within a 5 minute walk. On the Main Street just outside the property there are an abundance of bars, restaurants and cafes for some nice nights out. Despite the central location the roof terrace feels private which is great for an evening in! The beds were comfortable and the apartment had convenient features like an iron, hairdryer, etc. the beach is just a 5 minute walk away for a swim.

− You gave to climb three sets of stairs to get to the room but it is totally manageable and not that big of a deal, but important to be aware if you have mobility issues. The climb is totally worth it for the view at the top. It is warm without air conditioning however once you get the windows open the fantastic Corralejo breeze cools it right down, also Ale Hop across the road sells rechargeable fans for comfort at night time for just €20.

− 53 steps to get to the apartment door, definitely not a deal breaker, but hard work with hand luggage. Could do with new covers on the roof terrace beds.

Perfect location for a family

+ Great location, big, spacious apartment with large, furnished balcony including sunbeds.l

Würde ich wieder buchen.

+ Da oft bemängelt: Wir hatten keine Probleme mit dem Wasser. Wird wohl an der Jahreszeit liegen.

− Die Terrassenmöbel könnten besser gepflegt sein. Sonst hat alles gepasst.

+ Wir waren bereits zum zweiten Mal in Folge in der Unterkunft und werden immer gerne wieder kommen: - Die Lage der Unterkunft sowie das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist perfekt. - Die Dachterrasse und der Ausblick sind ein Highlight. - Die Unterkunft ist ausreichend ausgestattet. - Die Kommunikation mit der Unterkunft verläuft unkompliziert. - Der Wohn- und Essbereich ist sehr gemütlich (mit neuem Sofa!). Größere Gruppen können so gemeinsam Zeit verbringen und dennoch hat jeder einen Raum zum Zurückziehen. Vielen Dank an die Gastgeber!

− Eher "konstruktive Kritik": - In der Küche wären 1-2 zusätzliche Putzlappen oder Küchenhandtücher wünschenswert. Insbesondere wenn man für mehrere Tage bleibt bzw. mit einer größeren Personenzahl da ist. - Die Dachterrasse ist wunderschön und groß. Die Polster der Liegen bzw. die Matratze des "Himmelbetts" sind jedoch nicht mehr sehr einladend, da diese durchgängig draußen liegen und sehr schlecht trocknen. Einfache, abwischbare Liegestühle wären vermutlich besser. - Neben den Handtüchern für die Gäste wären 1-2 Duschvorleger wünschenswert.

+ The roof top terrace was great, the location was good

− Lack of water was the main concern, there were times when we couldn't even have a shower, literally no water, this needs sorting out. You can't self cater properly not enough equipment, definitely not for 6 people. It needs a good revamp. There's no plugs in sinks, had to go n buy 1 for the kitchen ( can't wash pots in a sink without a plug 😕). When u read back on the reviews the water problem goes back 2022, unfortunately we didn't read all the reviews. You don't expect to not having any water in this day n age and certainly not for the money your paying, its a shame because it could be made really nice.

+ The apartment was very clean and spacious. Great location only 2 minutes away from the beach. Shops and restaurants all around the apartment. The rooftop balcony was a massive bonus. Very spacious and great for sunbathing.

− No air conditioning. I was here in June. It was really hot and stuffy in the room. There are 52 stairs you need to go up from the bottom to the top of the apartment which might be a problem for some people.

Less than expected

+ Location was central, views from the roof terrace over the bay were fabulous

− Parking anywhere nearby was next to impossible and we ended up parking on open ground outside town which wasn't ideal, facilities very limited , decor tired , absolutely no pressure in the showers , we had to request new shower heads (made very little difference), had two broken dining chairs, issues with various taps , missing light bulbs , a non draining roof terrace , very limited kitchen equipment, no plugs in any of the basins or sinks making washing up difficult and bear in mind there are 54 steps up and down to the appartment.

28th March Visit - Unusable Water presure in apartment

+ The location was good and apartment spacious. TV and internet available.

− Asked the question about water pressure in the apartment as the shower and taps were so slow and a shower was impossible as water was just dribbling from shower and said would contact the communidad to fix this was not done. When i reviewed feedback on booking.com another customer reported the same issue on the 5th March 2025 so a know issue. I asked to keep apartment on to leave cases but wanted 50euro to keep room on which to me was unreasonable due to the issues and has to use another apartments were staying. Not a happy customer

− The showers, barely any water comes out just trickles , unfortunately the water comes from a tank and doesn’t last long and the water was cold most of the time. This was very frustrating

+ Fantastic roof terrace, plenty of space in the apartment. Well equipped kitchen and comfortable living space.

La Clavellina apartment Corralejo

+ Great apartment in a central location to everything you need in Corralejo. The apartment was lovely & had the most amazing view from the roof terrace. Everything you needed for your stay was provided, lovely fresh white towels & bedding in all 3 rooms, even an iron & ironing board. The apartment was spotless. The host was available on watsapp for anything we needed to know & replied very quickly. The only thing that I can speak of which could be improved, would be the sun lounger cushions which were very old, dirty & beyond repair & maybe a lick of paint to the outside furniture which was peeling & worn. But all in all, we had a fantastic week there & were kept fit up & down the 3 flights of stairs to the apartment. We would most definitely book again & looking forward to returning soon.

− There were no cooling systems ie air conditioning or ceiling fans not even a free standing fan, so it made the stay less enjoyable due to not sleeping. Really felt for the price a fan would be available! Showers - en-suite shower you’ll be lucky if you got enough water to shower in! Main bathroom, shower smelt and again limited water. Kitchen - fridge freezer could go with being replaced, one minute warm then the next over cold! Cooker not fan assisted do took forever to cook, gave up and went out to eat. Micro ants not majorly a concern but we could see how this would put people off. Would of been nice to of had storage containers due to food items being spoiled by ants ie cereal/crisps etc. Balcony was a great place when the sun went fine but due to no shade it’s not pleasant during the day even thought they had an umbrella stand with no umbrella. Also don’t advise it a place for little ones due to climbing! Internet - this did not exist for four days so had to really press to get this reinstated. Management company or owner I couldn’t really fault on this matter. In a nutshell, I’d look elsewhere or stay less than 14 days.

+ Location and facilities. Incredible balcony terrace ! I have visited Corralejo many times and know the location very well and La Clavellina is the best accomodation I have ever used, Top Stuff !!

− Quite a trek up 3 flights of stairs to reach the apartment but was good exercise over the 4 weks I stayed there !

Amazing location and view but apartment could be improved

+ Most amazing Location and the view is awesome! 3 bedrooms very comfortable and 2 bathrooms are really handy! Washing machine was a bonus Really spacious apartment for the price

− Ant infestation not just in apartment, would be great to supply any spray. Great to have a washing machine, but there isn’t a clothes airer or washing line to dry it! Water pressure is really poor, shower waste needs fixing. my daughter got her foot stuck when showering Not enough kitchen accessories - not even a bottle opener?! Would be helpful to have known where the bins go etc no information in the apartment. Could do with a dressing table to get ready at and a bathroom cabinet or somewhere to put shampoo etc!

Needs some love but will definitely book again .
