Maxorata Beach

Todo muy básico.

+ Básico para tener un puntuación de 8.

− Lo primero actualizar la dirección, es Calle Canarias 1, nos pasamos de parada, ya que no era Av Canarias s/n. Después de seleccionar el apartamento con mascota, tenía que llamar al hotel para avisarles qu iba con máscota, el pago adicional por el depósito del mando de la tele. Al no tener aire, teníamos todas las ventanas abiertas y eso era un olor a tabaco. En fin pésimo.

− Ho soggiornato per 5 giorni nella struttura e il primo giorno ho fatto presente la presenza di scarafaggi, mi hanno detto che avrebbero risolto il problema ma oltre ad un semplice insetticida in tutta la cucina non hanno fatto altro. Abbiamo trovato scarafaggi tutti i giorni, anche nelle valige, nel bagno e nella cucina.

+ Struttura situata in Un’ottima posizione. Bella, pulita e accogliente. Qualità prezzo ottimo.

− Muy descuidado el mobiliario, camas, armarios muy viejos, llevo muchos años en Maxorata y tienen el mismo mobiliario desde hace 20 años.

Excellent location but hotel needs to know who its audience is.

+ Location is brilliant, within easy walking distance to everything. Apartments are big and spacious, noise on site is quiet. Food and service in the pool bar is fantastic and the food particularly was very good. Plenty of loungers by the pool and we never had the rush to grab them like in other hotels (so that was good!) people didn’t seem to reserve them all day and never use them, so again a bonus. The young male lifeguard was extremely friendly and spoke to lots of hotel guests and was very helpful. We had a lovely stay and would recommend it but it would probably recommend it to people who don’t have kids. We had tiny ants in the room, but speaking to other people in different hotels that was the same everywhere. We didn’t cook in the apartment so can’t comment on what the appliances were like but all looked fine. We had a corner room overlooking the pool and that was perfect for the morning sun! Shout out to the guest who provided the music round the pool (not all hero’s wear capes!) he created the atmosphere the last few days. We never had to pay the €150 deposit, no idea why but it was a nice surprise to be honest!

− The problem I have is that this hotel has a salt pool! Which made a lot of people (especially kids) burn. My daughter had 50+ on and still burnt on different days. We even used 3 different brands of sun cream with regular re-application and they all had the same issue. So please be careful with the salt water pool. What I will say though is this hotel needs to decide on if it’s a family friendly hotel or an adults hotel. There are lots of families who use this hotel, from different parts of the world so I think they could do with developing the solarium into a smaller pool for kids or something for adults because right now it feels like the hotel doesn’t know what it wants to be. As there’s one pool, no floaties/rings or any inflatables are allowed; when a lifeguard is on duty. But then the female lifeguard also stoped a group of kids from using water soakers (that are sold in the pool bar!) not sure why because none of the kids did anything wrong with them. We only saw her on two days and I’d say they were the strictest pool day. And it’s not fair to stop kids from having fun in a pool like we’ve all done! WiFi connection isn’t great, will depend on where you are in the hotel. The rooms need air con!!! Even if the fans they rent out were free it would help but hiring fans that are needed is unfair. No idea why but you have to rent the tv remote, we were never going to watch the telly but if you’re someone who would that just so you know. No proper cover on the pull out couch bed (just a sheet covering the open seat and cushions) this was only used for my daughter to sit on when she played with her toys. She only sat on this for 2 days on the run and I had to stop her from sitting on it again as she had developed spots on her face on the side she was lying down on the couch on. After not allowing her to lie or sit on the couch again the spots went away. This is concerning as I’m not sure what is inside the couch or in that material!

Lovely place but not in July when it’s stifling hot as rooms are too hot to be able to sleep

− No air con in rooms so was like a sauna of a night. Having to pay for a fan, safe, remote control etc

HORRIBLE

+ No recomiendo nada este alojamiento, estaba plagado de cucarachas , lo pasé fatal . No hay aire acondicionado y tampoco tienen mosquiteras por lo que no puedes evitar que te entren cucarachas del tamaño de una avioneta. No puedes limpiar, no te dejan una escoba, fregona o algo de jabon para limpiar los platos. Además, tampoco te dejan ni un poquito de gel para lavarte cuando llegas de un largo viaje en avión. Los colchones son incomidísimos, te clavas los muelles. Y si te hace falta una toalla tienes que pagar 2 euros porque te la cambian dos veces en la semana. Yo iba con niños pequeños y no fue suficiente. Tenia televisor y el mando no apareció nunca. En fin, todo un despropósito. Es para que me devuelvan el dinero, vaya estafa.

+ lovely stay. apartments are spotlessly clean and in a great location. pool area is excellent with a great restaurant. food was very good and great value and very friendly and efficient staff. very reasonably priced

− Our room was full of mosquito as all 4 of us were bitten badly and cost us a lot of money at the pharmacy for creams

Aceptable

+ Bastante céntrico, todo muy cerca sin necesidad de coger coche, caminando 10 min podrías llegar a la playa de corralejo, a la avenida donde están todas las tiendas etc.

− Que el agua de la ducha se saliera por todas partes y el baño quedase lleno de agua, que el ventilador te cobren por día alquilarlo ya que en el apartamento tan si quiera hay uno en el techo, que no te cambian las toallas con frecuencia aún sabiendo el problema del agua y que el sofá no es un sofá-cama!!!!!!!! ES UN SOFÁ DE LOS ANTIGUOS QUE SI LE QUITAS LOS SILLONES DONDE APOYAS LA ESPALDA SE HACE UN POCO MÁS GRANDE PERO NO ES SOFÁ CAMA!!!!!!!!! Deberían de cambiarlo y poner un sofá cama en condiciones ya que cuando reservas pone que es sofá cama!!!! Lo he visto un poco caro para la calidad que ofrecen.. deberían hacer un cambio de look al apartamento(sofá-cama en condiciones), más menaje de cocina (renovarlo ya que el que hay es muy viejo e incluso oxidado) y (aunque sea poner un ventilador de techo) que no lo cobran baratito!!!!!!!!!!!!

+ Las instalaciones eran muy bonitas ,los jardines muy bonitos ,pero faltaría un poco de mantenimiento en los apartamentos .

+ El trato del personal , sobre todo destacar la señora de la limpieza Nilde que nos dió un trato espectacular y la directora en todo momento muy amable y atenta !!

− Hay que mejorar un poco el mobiliario de las habitaciones
