Völlig ausreichende aber überteuerte Location die mehr versprochen hat.

+ Die Lage etwas ausserhalb von Puigpunyent war super. Ruhig in den Bergen gelegen. Schöne Aussicht. Für uns perfekt aber für Menschen ohne Auto wohl etwas schwierig. Ein Pool der funktioniert.

− Ein 3. Schlafzimmer gibt es nicht wie beschrieben. Am ehesten is damit wohl das Sofa im Flur/Durchgangszimmer zum Schlafzimmer im Keller gemeint. Die Fenster konnte man nicht öffnen da man sonst einen Mückenschwarm im Haus hatte. Leider gibt es keine Moskitogitter und auch keine Klimaanlage. Der Pool ist winzig. Die Einrichtung altbacken. Das Bad im Keller ist mehr Nasszelle als Badezimmer. Mit einer Dusche die wohl eher für Kinder gebaut wurde. Insgesamt in der Preis für diese Unterkunft nicht gerechtfertigt. Aber immerhin hat der Fotograf der Bilder für die Unterkunft gute Arbeit geleistet.

+ Quiet peaceful setting in the mountains. Good parking and felt secure

− The Host. The host and his lack of communication spoilt this holiday before we had even left the UK. I had been trying to contact him. But, his first communication with us was that we should immediately complete an international Bank transfer for the 200 euro damage waiver insurance and the city tax; this was on Thursday evening. He was aggressive and said if he didn't receive it before we arrived on the following Monday he would not give us the keys to the property. Monday in the UK was a Bank Holiday, so I had to explain that he would not receive the money until Tuesday. This was not resolved until I involved Booking.com. He refused to give me the code to access the property until 4pm on the day of arrival. Very stressful to board a plane without knowing you are going to be able to access a property you have rented! On landing I received the 4 digit code; no welcome or directions. We know Puigpunyent well, but even with satnav we had difficulty finding the property. He could have made it much easier. We never met the host or heard from him during our stay. Damage waiver deposit It's now 7 June and I'm still trying to get back our 200 Euro Fianza. There is no suggestion we caused any damage. It's just not forthcoming. Looking back through earlier reviews I see that this has happened to others. Worst host ever. The property. You need a car.. And be aware that the 4 minute drive to Puigpunyent is down a very narrow winding lane (1 car wide). The property is built on the side of the mountain. 2 bedrooms and a pull out sofa in the living room. The setting is peacful and the property has some lovely terraces. However, there are concrete steps everywhere, even leading up to the pool which sits above the house. The pool area is pleasant, but if you have children be aware that it is probably about 6.5 ft deep. The bathroom on the main floor has a decent shower but inadequate ventilation. Therefore it got very damp and nothing dried.

A fantastic stay in a beautiful and peaceful location.

+ Beautiful location and views, peaceful environment, facilities were great, the hosts were helpful and flexible.

− Inside could be a bit more modern and comfortable, but we were out a lot so it didn’t matter too much.

CASA DONDE NO QUIEREN A ESPAÑOLES

+ El valle donde esta situado es bonito.

− El supuesto anfitrion no aparecio en ningun momento, no nos dio ningun tipo de instrucciones sobre la casa, solo donde recoger las llaves. La primera mañana nos quedamos sin agua caliente, cuando le llamamos nos contesta que los españoles nos quejamos de todo. Para terminar dejamos la casa en perfecto estado y no nos han devuelto la fianza sin dar ningun tipo de explicacion. En la zona se dedican a darle a la motosierra y la desbrozadora todos los dias

La personne qui s'occupe de maison est très désagréable et la piscine n'est pas vraiment une.

+ l'emplacement est super, bien isolé.

− La personne qui s'occupe de donner le code pour avoir l'accès à la clé est très désagréable. On a été menacé de ne pas avoir accès à la maison le jour de notre arrivée car si bien nous avions la preuve du paiement de la taxe touristique et de la caution (200 Euros) cela n'etait pas suffisant.

+ Placeringen i en grönskande dal.

− AC hade varit fint men fläktarna var skönt i nattvärmen.

Very neat tidy accommodation, peaceful with a large garden and great views. Some hassle over deposit, tiny pool.

+ Large private garden with lovely views over the valley. Great views from the house. Very secluded. Was Spotless on arrival. Village is lovely with a few bars/ restaurants

− Communication with host is difficult. Wanted electronic payment of deposit which by bank transfer from uk to Spain is not easy and there is no instant transfer which is what he was expecting. Despite sending screenshots confirming payment he was reluctant to release access to keys. Was not sure if we were going to have to stay somewhere else first night. It is 30 minutes walk to centre of village or short drive down road with loads of potholes. The sofa bed /room is just outside the other bedroom and you have to walk past the sofa bed to get to the next bedroom. Pool is tiny

The stay was a great get away from the world, really!

+ I loved the scenery of the mountains. The nature feel. And the overall atmosphere.

− Our trip was in June and the home a night was a sauna. The house can get a little hot, granted we didn’t open the windows because of mosquitoes outside but overall great experience. I plan on booking again. To the staff, Please get more fans

Breathtaking views, comfortable and very private

+ The Property is located surrounded by mountains views, you will need a car to access to it. It’s a beautiful family home, very comfortable and just what we wanted for our summer holidays

+ Lovely location - easy access to local village - peaceful and fantastic set up for relaxation and family get away - all want I wanted and more - it had parking and secure gated area so peace of mind while staying - we even and local kitty cat visiting we named El Chatto - lovely

Beautiful Puigpunyent

+ The location is exceptional - Puigpunyent is beautiful and conveniently located only 30 minutes from Palma and the airport. The views from the property are stunning. The owners have clearly made some effort with the outside spaces and they are a pleasure. The terraces, veranda and pool areas are well planned.

− The property was very, very difficult to find and, with only GPS co-ordinates provided to guide us, it took us nearly 2 hours to find it, in the dark. Knowing that it is inadvisable to drink the tap water, we would have welcomed, at least, some bottled water on arrival, especially as we arrived so late and there were no shops open to buy essentials. The house itself is a little dated and would benefit from some upgrading. The beds are poor quality and uncomfortable.
