Lovely Christmas getaway!

+ The apartment was perfect for our needs, the balcony was big and had a lovely sea view, each morning I sat with a coffee watching the sunrise, the balcony got sun from around 9.30 until 5.30ish (this was over Christmas so guessing it's even longer over summer months) absolutely perfect ❤️ big fridge and freezer, microwave, hobs and extras like washing up liquid, shampoo, and washing liquid for a very speedy washing machine were included(that smelt beautiful!). Big supermarket was 10 -15 walk with everything you need. Ramona was great at getting back to us with every question, would definitely stay again! 😀❤️ Top tip, it's a little less of a walk to leave and teturn via the gate by the pool than the main entrance, go down to floor 0 and turn left and you will find the way! 😊 Also Uber to airport was less than €30..

− This isn't really a what we didn't like but personal preference - there was no oven but we managed fine for 10 days so not really an issue, it is a bit of a walk to any bars if that's your thing, nearest one is yuccas which is only about 5 mins but was closed for a lot of the time we were there and then looked really busy at all times when it was open, teatro bar was about 15 Min walk and very welcoming and cosy, the next one we found was ha'penny bridge a fab Irish bar, but from the apartment around 30 min walk. By that point you are in Benalmadena so nothing too far from there ! There were some restaurants and a couple more supermarkets on the way too. ubers were just as easy as in England, you just need to put your passport number into the app the first time you use it and generally about €6-8 from Benalmadena/marina so again not extortionate! Actually nothing really bad to report!! Great holiday! ❤️

In general we enjoyed our stay at the property and would stay there again

− There was some confusion about getting into the property, I contacted the host and this was resolved There was an ironing board in the apartment but no iron which wasn't ideal

− Dog poo around the path near pool area in the mornings. Apartment was nightmare to enter as my phone wouldn't work in spain without wifi n couldn't contact owner. Thankfully someone helped us in.(i couldn't see owners name on letter box) Cant enter password wifi into phone took me forever to realise you had to scan it. Wifi constantly disconnected from tv. Not close to shop or restaurants, you need to take the bus for good selection of places to eat.theres an ltalian about 6 min walk which is v good. Supermarket 10-15 mins walk. Apartment is massive& spotless as the whole complex minus the dog poo, balcony also very big with sun loungers.has everything you need to cook ect. Top tip, use key to gate beside pool to enter onto the street & it saves walking all the way around.

Apartment mit kleinen Schwächen und großartiger Sonnenterrasse!

+ Das Apartment gehört zu einer am Hang liegenden Wohnanlage "Real Torrequebrada" bestehend aus 7 Häusern mit insgesamt ca. 100 Wohnungen, am Ende einer Sackgasse, im Ortsteil Torrequebrada, im 4. Stock. Das Apartment, bestehend aus Küche, Wohnzimmer, Schlafzimmer, Bad (vom Schlafzimmer aus zu begehen) und Terrasse mit herrlichem Meerblick, ist ausreichend groß für 2-3 Personen. Es gibt eine Standardausstattung, das ein oder andere musste von uns dazu gekauft werden. Der nächstgelegene Mercadona Supermarkt, ein Bazar (Haushaltswarengeschäft), eine Apotheke und 3 Restaurants sind in ca. 15 Gehminuten zu erreichen. Das Wetter war während unseres 14-tägigen Winter-Urlaubs durchgehend sonnig bei 15-20°C Tagestemperatur. Nach Benalmadena und Fuengirola kann man bequem mit dem Bus fahren (1,70€ one-way), Haltestellen befinden sich ca. 10 Gehminuten entfernt.

− Die im Sommer von einem anderen Gast bemängelten 7(!) kaputten Glühbirnen wurden noch immer nicht ausgewechselt, es gab nur eine Sonnenliege, jetzt im Winter war der eine Heizlüfter für die Größe der Wohnung etwas zu wenig. Das Apartment war im großen und ganzen sauber, nur in der Küche hatte ich meine Probleme: Geschirr, Besteck, Kochutensilien, Mikrowelle und Toaster waren schmutzig, Schränke und Schubladen hatten Essensreste und Krümel, an einem Küchenschrank haben drei von vier Schubladenfronten gefehlt! In der Dusche gab es schwarzen Schimmel!
