An unforgettable family holiday in a stunning luxury villa, made even more special by an amazing host

+ Absolutely everything! Villa Mares was even better than we expected. It had a beautiful luxury feel, was spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable, with gorgeous views over the golf course and down towards the sea. Sofia, the host, was absolutely fantastic. From the moment we booked, she was incredibly helpful with any questions we had, and throughout our stay she went above and beyond to help with anything we needed. She made the whole experience completely seamless, from check-in through to check-out. I’ve been visiting Caleta de Fuste since I was 12, although we had a break for a while, and we’ve stayed in hotels over the last couple of years. Staying at Villa Mares this year was a completely different experience and was enjoyed by the whole family, especially our youngest. We’ve made some amazing family memories and real core memories that we’ll treasure for years. The villa, the views, the location and especially Sofia made this one of our best holidays. We enjoyed it so much that we’re already planning to book again next year. I honestly wish we were still there!

− Honestly, there is very little to say here. The only thing we didn’t like was having to leave! 😂 We enjoyed our stay so much that we wished we could have stayed longer.

Feels like home (But much warmer!) :)

+ My husband & I stay in this villa every time we visit Fuerteventura. We are surprised to see some great improvements each time we revisit. The outside area has had a revamp, it looks fabulous! Our usual host Sofia is always very friendly & helpful. The villa is spacious, spotlessly clean & feels like home from home - we can’t fault it!

+ Another wonderful stay at Villa Mares! Love the fact that each time we return to this villa we can see improvements being made. New powerful aircon fitted throughout. New seating around the pool area. Definitely worth getting the pool heated in colder months. We love the peace & tranquility this villa provides with beautiful views across the golf course. Again, communication with the host Sofia can’t be faulted, she is on hand with any issues no matter how small.

Beautiful Villa with spectacular views!

+ We have stayed in villa mares several times this year We love the location with beautiful views over the golf course The villa is spacious, clean and well equipped We was greeted this time by a lovely lady called Sofia - she was so friendly & helped us with any questions we had during our stay, a pleasure to deal with. We noticed some new touches to the villa this time around which was nice to see. Bottles of water on arrival & new towel rails & accessories in the bathrooms :)

− Nothing not to like about this villa! It’s a shame previous guests have marked this villa down due to cameras that are not there! When we stayed in January there were several alarm sensors which must of been mistaken for cameras, they have now been removed. Be assured this villa is very private.

Nice Villa

+ Nice property. Great room layout. All the core facilities and a nice little gym. Nice view over the golf course to the sea The location is about a 20 minutes walk to the shopping centre and 40 mins to Caleta De Fuste centre.

− There were a few little things that took the stay go from great to good.-Cold pool; there’s an extra daily fee -Toilets seats; all 3 were loose and wobbly -Rubbish; We were asked to take the rubbish out but there were no bins nearby -We had a visit from the security system team; who came to take the sensors out (in the middle of our stay) -Bathroom; bath plug didn’t fit the plug hole -Ceiling lights in 2 bedrooms did not look well fitted -check out; At 10am as we were departing (putting our suitcases into the taxi), the cleaner arrived with a guy. It felt intimidating as we didn’t know why he was there.

Beautiful Villa in a great location!

+ We loved the location of this villa overlooking the golf course. Spacious feel with good sized bedrooms & living space. Quick check in - we was given the key & left to explore which suited us. Supermarket in short walking distance. Main resort was a 5 minute taxi ride or 25 minute brisk walk Overall a lovely stay

− A few minor issues with the villa but not enough to stop us returning The plug for the bath didn’t fit so was unusable. The toilet seats didn’t fit causing them to slide to the side every time you sit on them. The toaster had a fault causing the electrics to trip every time you plug it in. These are small things that could be easily put right by the villa owners.
