Stay here it’s absolutely lovely

+ Idyllic, away from the throng, gorgeous family-owned-and-run renovated building and grounds . Lovely pool, generous breakfast and snacks! Room was small but comfortable, modern bathroom

A brief lovely respite at an exquisite antique oasis

+ У Chalet Ficalho потрясающее расположение: всего несколько минут пешком до центра Кашкайша, ресторанов и магазинов. При этом за воротами вас ждёт большой зелёный сад с бассейном и лежаками — несмотря на несколько номеров, здесь чувствуешь себя почти как на частной вилле. Очень спокойная и уютная атмосфера, а персонал в целом приветливый и заботливый.

− Что можно улучшить: при заселении нам немного не хватило более тёплого и внимательного приёма. В остальном пребывание оставило прекрасные впечатления.

+ המקום הוא בית ענק ועתיק, ששופץ ונשמר היטב. הכניסה אליו היא כמו כניסה לתוך פיסת היסטוריה, אבל עם כל הפינוקים של היום. האווירה מכשפת, החדרים היו מצוחצחים, הצוות היה אדיב ונעים. השירותים והמקלחת היו נקיים, גדולים ונעימים מאד. פינת הקפה היתה קטנה וחמודה, ואהבנו שבחדר יש מן מדף ספרים לקריאה. בלובי יש חדרי הסבה נהדרים, שנותנים תחושה של אחוזת דאונטון. ישנו מרחב לארוחת הבוקר בחוץ ובפנים, ושם גם יש באופן קבוע מים קרים וקרח, קפה ומגוון סוגי תה (חשוב!), ותמיד גם כמה עוגות, עוגיות ומשהו לנשנש. ארוחת הבוקר היתה מצויינת ונעימה. המיקום איננו ממש במרכז, אלא 10-12דקות הליכה נעימה לחוף הים, 6-8 דקות למוזיאונים, 10 6-10 דקות לאיזור המסעדות. היה דווקא נעים ללכת ברחובות ולהסתכל בבתים היפים, ולהיות יותר רחוקים מהרעש. יש במלון בריכה קטנה ויפה, שהיה נעים מאד לטבול בה ולשבת לידה עם ספר.

− בארוחת הבוקר היה נחמד אם היו מגישים מעט ירקות, זה היה לנו חסר. היו פירות בשפע, אבל ללא ירקות. בנוסף, שעות הכניסה לבריכה מסתיימות בשעה 19, ואילו בקיץ זו שעה חמימה, והשקיעה רק בשעה 21:30, ככה שהיה נחמד לו הבריכה היתה פתוחה לפחות עד השעה 20:00, במיוחד כי ארוחת הערב בפורטוגל מתחילה בשעות די מאוחרות. כדאי לשים לב, שבחלק מהחדרים יש מדרגה בין חדר השינה למקלחת, והיא יכולה להיות קצת מסוכנת ביציאה מחדר האמבטיה. כל אלה, בכל מקרה, הם דברים זניחים מאד יחסית לכל הדברים הנפלאים במלון.

All round exceptional, would not hesitate to stay again.

+ All around an exceptional stay. Unique property (historic chalet impeccably restored with modern features) and great location (minutes away from downtown Cascais but away from the noise and crowd). Staff was exceptionally warm and friendly; we mentioned we particularly liked a cake the offered one afternoon and they were kind enough to give us an extra portion the next day.

+ The most genuine, warm, friendly and professional team. The house is truly special as are the people that run it. The location is fantastic. The dog...well he is pretty special too!! Clean, spacious, elegant, fantastic breakfast and sincerely feels like a home from home, despite being a mansion house!

Beautiful building and grounds with a really friendly vibe

+ Terrific location, a beautiful building and a lovely team running the establishment. Swimming pool area was great for relaxing on warm days. The breakfasts and “snacks” provided the right amount of food to keep us going at certain times of the day.

− Warning to light sleepers as this is an old building constructed from a fair amount of wood. This means the sound travels from the rooms and there are some odd creaks from the cooling timbers at night. Stairs are steep and the entrance accessibility is potentially difficult. The property does have an internal lift for navigating between floors but there may be some people will have some accessibility issues.
