Nice hotel in a great location

+ Very cool historic elevator. Location was close to the metro in a great neighborhood. Check-in was easy.

+ Great rooms, comfy beds, air con. Small and quiet. Helpful and friendly staff.

− It took longer than I expected to get places but buses were good and actually we liked not staying by La Rambla.

Great staff, small room

+ The staff was amazing! Patricia was so helpful and kind. She was the best part of our stay.

− The room size was very small for the price we paid. There was no closet and the room was not very cool. We had to buy a small fan to help us sleep.

+ The building was absolutely stunning. I felt like I was stepping into a part of history. Loved the beautiful breakfast room and the 24/7 espresso access. The staff was so sweet and welcoming. We will 100% return.

+ Quiet room. Nice amenities. Old bulding bones and eveything freshly refurbished. Nice staff. Our room had direct access to the terrasse which was a ver lovely surprise.

Fabulous location, highly recommend the hotel as it is small and quiet and lovely rooms.

+ The hotel was very pretty, it had a bed-and- breakfast feel. The room was super. We just needed an overnight so that we could catch our outbound flight. Our only disappointment was that breakfast didn’t start until 8:30

Lovely family run small hotel in a great neighborhood!

+ Casa Matilda was a lovely small hotel in annaccessible neighborhood near many of the Gaudi sites. The staff was lovely an made us feel right at home. The room was airy and bright, access to a patio was great at the end of the day, and breakfast was simple and sufficient. We would certainly stay again!

Loved our stay at this wonderful boutique casa!

+ Our stay was fantastic! The room was very comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was very good with lots of choices and we enjoyed eating our breakfast outside in the courtyard. The staff that we interacted with were extremely friendly and helpful! A very special find!!

Lovely and quiet small hotel in a wonderful location with attentive staff.

+ We loved our stay at Casa Mathilda. We were located on the second floor of a charming old building, close to 2 Metro stops, the Block of Discord, and La Sagrada Familia, in an upscale part of town. Our room was nice and quiet and opened onto a lovely terrace. We loved the self-serve coffee and filtered water, the vending machine, and the wonderful breakfast. The staff was very helpful and had a published list of their favorite nearby restaurants. We highly recommend it, it was a wonderful start to our Spain vacation.
