Alojamiento Rambla

Location was great!

+ Location was right on Ramblas, which was great.

− Shared bathrooms that ran out of toilet paper. When asked about the Air Conditioning, we were told there was an extra charge for using it.

+ Staff was accommodating, room very well lit and comfortable bed, well sized for 2 people, it had a little quaint back balcony with a table and 2 chairs to enjoy a relax time there, facing the back of the elegant building in la Rambla where the apartment is located, shared bathroom is just right beside the room, and it has access to a small and well equipped kitchen. Very well located, 2 metro stations within 10 minutes walking distance, necessary to reach main points of interests as except from Casa Batlló and Casa Milá, the resto (including the beach) are not close in walking distance at all.

+ The location is very strategic and convenient to walk around to the tourist spots.

− The rooms are narrow including the toilet. There are many occupants to share the toilets.

Reasonably allright. For barcelona standards the price was good and the location is fine. Not perfect, but not terrible

+ The room itself is fine. It’s clean, the bed is comfortable enough, there is enough space. Nothing in particular to point out negatively. You get what you see in the pictures. Besides a few minor things to improve. The wi-fi is okay. The shower has warm water.

− The room is situated in an appartment with multiple rooms. I think at least five. Between these rooms you have to share two bathrooms. One bathroom is fine and relatively spacious for Barcelona standards. The other one is very cramped and has no direct window outside. The better bathroom is opposite this room. In the morning it’s highly probable that both bathrooms will be occupied so you’ll have to wait. The water pressure in both showers is very low, but it’s allright for a quick shower. They do get sufficiently hot. The toilet paper ran out three out of five times I went to the bathroom. They should just have a holder for multiple rolls so you can switch yourself, but they don’t. The heater was broken. It couldn’t be turned off. I had to dress down to my underwear to be able to sleep. One night I could hear the dogs from another appartment, though with earplugs I couldn’t hear them anymore. There is a shared kitchen. You get one shelf in the fridge for your things. I didn’t use the kitchen besides storing something in the fridge.
