+ The apartment is very near to the metro and a bustling shopping area. I felt very secure and I had the best nights sleep of my travels here. It has everything you need including a washing m/c. The tv even had an English speaking channel.

+ El apartamento es fantástico, tiene todos los detalles que tebpuwdas imaginar, incluso más. Muy buena ubicación, a 3' del Rastro, 10' de la Plaza Mayor, ubicación buenísima. La mamá de Felipe los recibió muy cariñosa y atenta, hoy nos despidió de igual manera, es un encanto de mujer.

+ Responsável pelo apartamento muito receptivo. A localização é boa quanto a posição em relação às principais atrações de Madrid.

− O entorno do edifício é muito mal cuidado pelos moradores, estava muito sujo na mais parte das vezes que saí ou cheguei ao prédio e algumas vezes havia a presença de pessoas que pareciam bêbadas ou drogadas. Todos me falaram que estas pessoas nunca entram em conflito com os moradores da área, mas cria um mal estar para quem busca um local temporário para ficar.

+ L'appartement est très fonctionnel, très agréable, très clame et très bien équipé. Il est situé très proche du centre touristique de Madrid, proche d'un arrêt métro et proche des sites touristiques (musées, palais royal, rues commerçantes).

− Tout était parfait. Peut-être mieux vaut-il savoir en amont qu'il ne faut pas être trop gros ni trop grand pour la salle de bain, particulièrement la douche mais elle reste très fonctionnelle.

+ The apartment is small and compact, but has everything needed for a comfortable stay for two people. Felipe and his mother are responsive and helpful hosts.

− The bedroom and shower cabin are quite small — it could be uncomfortable for a man. As two girls, lighting is important to us, and the apartment had very dim lighting, which was inconvenient. There was also a noticeable damp smell during most of our stay. The street where the apartment is located can feel unsafe for girls walking alone, especially in the evening. There are many immigrants and individuals who appear to be under the influence of substances, which made us feel uncomfortable. That said, the location is very central — most major sights are within a 20-minute walk, and public transportation is conveniently close to the apartment.

+ Met at property and shown the ropes and how things worked. Property has a great location. Easy walking to Plaza Mayor and Palacio Real. Supermarkets nearby. Bed not as big as hoped, a standard double sized but comfortable. Shower is small as apartment is very compact.

Small and chic apartment, well equipped, ideal for 2 people

+ A small and chic apartment, equipped with everything you need. A nice lady waited for us to hand over the keys and show us the apartment. The windows overlook an inner courtyard, so it was quiet. The neighborhood is not exactly the most "elegant", but the police patrol day and night so that we did not feel insecure either during the day or at night when we returned to the room. It is on the 3rd floor and the elevator is impeccable. The bed is a little short, but we managed. The shower cabin is a little tight, but it was ok for us. It's perfect for two people. Quite close (5 minutes walk) to the city center. I would come back here without thinking twice.

+ We arranged to arrive at a specific time. The lady explained everything we would need to know about the apartment. The apartment is very compact and has everything you need for a very comfortable stay. About a 10 minute walk to the centre of Madrid. A few local bars nearby.

+ Apartment is beautiful and stylish, comfortable, location is great, hosts are extremely hospitable. If you are staying in Madrid, look no more, it will make you feel Madrilenos for a little while and you will enjoy your time inside.

+ Some of the basics were provided (hand soap, salt, pepper, ...). The house was clean and well equipped (kitchenware, small hairdryer, AC, ...)

Characterful, cosy, well equipped gem, conveniently situated and great value for money

+ Cosy, snug, traditional Madrid style apartment which was comfortable and extremely well equipped. Excellent location between Lavapies and La Latina in the heart of a really characterful buzzing part of the city with shops, restaurants, bars and very close to the famous huge Rastro flea market thronged with hundreds of people on Sundays (yet the apartment itself was a haven of peace and tranquility). My flight was not until late afternoon and Felipe kindly allowed me to stay well beyond check out time. Great value place either for a single traveller or couple. Highly recommended.

+ A small, beautiful and colourful apartment close to the metro, shops and restaurants. It has everything you need. It is not too far from the city centre. The host was there to welcome you and explain everything.

A Well-Stocked, Well-Situated Basecamp

+ This was the perfect apartment for my two week stay. I thought that the price was very reasonable given the centrality of the location and the fact that you have the whole apartment to yourself. Although the place is small, it is very well designed so that each area feels separate without being cramped. The bed was very comfortable, the air conditioning was good, and all the amenities you would want are right there including a washing-machine/washing line, large fridge and freezer, stove, microwave etc. My favourite thing was how well-stocked the apartment was with things like toilet paper, laundry detergent, even simple things like salt and spices. All this made it so much easier to feel at home and not waste lots of money buying things I would only use a fraction of. The owners were very attentive and accommodating. Asunción was very kind to provide two sets of towels and sheets to make sure that I could stay fresh in the heat. I would definitely stay again!
