Casa da Cantareira

+ Sehr schön 5* plus!! Mit dem Vermieter waren wir über WhatsApp im regen Kontakt. Er hat uns Ausflugs und Tourenvorschläge gemacht, nachgefragt ob wir noch Wünsche haben. Das Häuschen liegt mitten im Ort, voll ausgestattet, urig eingerichtet und ca. 150m entfernt gibt's genügend Parkplätze. Praia Fluvial ca. 5 min mit dem Auto, willkommene Erfrischung nach einer Wanderung. Hervorragende Gastronomie in der Umgebung und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, fußläufig.

− Wir haben nichts zu bemängeln. Allerdings sollte der Gast beweglich sein der Aufgang vom Schlaf- zum Wohnbereich/Küche ist ziemlich steil.

+ As fotografias já nos tinham convencido, mas quando chegamos e vimos a casa ao vivo, ficamos completamente rendidos ao seu encanto. Restaurada de forma moderna, sem perder a sua alma rustica de casa de aldeia, a Casa da Cantareira esta extremamente bem equipada e funcional. E como se a escolha da casa não tivesse já sido um achado, o Tiago (dono) foi um host excepcional do inicio ao fim, sugerindo mais actividades e restaurantes do que aquilo que conseguimos fazer em 4 dias. Recomendo o alojamento a 1000%!

− Ponto a melhorar seria o sofá, não era o mais cómodo, mas há gostos para tudo e não seria por isto que não voltariamos.

Casa na Aldeia

+ Bem localizado. Uma casa na aldeia que todos gostávamos de ter. Toda a casa bem equipada para se estar durante uns dias. Salientar a simpatia e disponibilidade dos anfitriões.

Demonstrou um cuidado genuíno em garantir que tudo estivesse perfeito durante a estadia, o que fez toda a diferença. A extraordinária hospitalidade e a forma acolhedora como fomos recebidos por todas as pessoas da Loriga tornaram a nossa experiência ainda mais especial. Sem dúvida, um excelente anfitrião e uma maravilhosa Vila, que recomendo a qualquer pessoa que procure conforto e um ambiente agradável. Obrigado pela excelente experiência!

+ Loriga foi uma surpresa muito agradável, é muito bonita e sossegada, óptima para descansar do stress do dia a dia. Estivemos um bocadinho condicionados pela chuva, mas mesmo assim demos bons passeios. Ser bem pertinho da Torre é um ponto forte! A Casa da Cantareira ofereceu-nos tudo o que precisávamos, conforto não nos faltou e à nossa chegada estava tudo impecável. A garagem é um ponto forte, sem dúvida. O Tiago foi um anfitrião cinco estrelas, sempre disponível e com imensas dicas de passeios e restauração, o nosso agradecimento especial pela sua disponibilidade e cuidado.

− Não gostámos de ter pouco tempo para apreciar a zona e a Casa da Cantareira! Por favor, programem uma visita folgada porque vale bem a pena!!

+ O anfitrião Tiago foi de uma simpatia, atenção e cuidado excepcionais, mesmo antes da nossa chegada... A casa tem todas as comodidades necessárias a uma boa estadia! Localização privilegiada...

− Os meus filhos queixaram-se do barulho que uma das camas de solteiro fazia ao movimentar-se durante a noite! Fora isso, só tivemos pena de ter chovido durante a maior parte do tempo e não conseguirmos aproveitar para caminhar e conhecer melhor Loriga.

+ O Thiago é extremamente atencioso e sempre está atento as mensagens! Responde super rápido! A casa é uma graça e a localização é perfeita….super perto da subida para Serra da Estrela. Temos uma SUB e foi muuuito fácil utilizar a garagem!

Uma excelente estadia

+ A localização era ótima, com todos os serviços essenciais nestas circunstâncias por perto, os vizinhos muito simpáticos, a arquitetura da vila muito bonita, mesmo serrana, e o proprietário foi de um cuidado e uma atenção excelente, deu-nos todas as informações relacionadas com visitas, alimentação e outros cuidados que foram muito úteis. Fiquei muito bem impressionada.

− Na verdade o que não gostei foi o tempo que lá permaneci, soube a pouco. Gostava de lá ter permanecido mais uns dias.

− Había demasiadas moscas y telarañas. Los armarios estaban llenos de comida usada. Parece que la casa es de uso personal del dueño y también la alquila , dejando allí todas sus cosas personales.

Great village house in scenic country

+ House is stylish and tasteful. The pellet stove keeps the whole place remarkably comfortable. A beautiful drive to get there. The host was responsive and helpful and check on was easy.

− Be sure you have foodstuffs with you as the choices are limited, and depending on when you arrive, you may find nothing open.

Lovely House in the Mountains

+ Great place in the mountains. Very comfortable place, with very good equipment. The water was hot and the water pressure was very good. The communication with the owner was excellent and we got great recommendations.

A hidden gem

+ We were looking for somewhere to stay whilst exploring the Serra da Estrela Nature Park and also to relax after 10 days on the motorcycle. A lot of people recommend Covilha, but for us Loriga was the right choice. Casa da Cantareira is well equipped with everything you would need, we needed to do some washing and the washing machine was put to use, having a garage to house the bike was a bonus. Tiago was an excellent host offering advice on where to eat, walk and visit (so many that we will have to go back). Fresh bread being delivered in the morning courtesy of Tiago was a lovely touch and much appreciated. He also stayed in touch whilst we were there to ensure everything was OK

− Beds were not so comfortable, it smelled a bit moist inside probably because it was not occupied for a while and it rained a lot?

A very welcoming and cozy house, which fills you up with the local atmosphere and a homely comfort!

+ Beautiful house, a great blend of the local stone construction with a beautiful selection of woods. Very cozy, with relaxing views, it's a very welcoming house. The garage is a great bonus for you to fix the parking problem that small villages usually have and hide away your family van (it requires some maneuvering but it's quite doable). The complementary local bread each morning is a joy for those who appreciate great fresh bread and the local bakery (which is a must). The kitchen is well equipped, the location of the house is very good, our host was great, very easy to talk to and was available at any time (either for suggestions, local restaurants, places to visit, or any questions regarding the house). The kids loved the house immediately and we all wish we could have spent more time at home. Even though outside was very cold when we visited, we didn't have any problems inside the house.

− Since the house is very cozy and welcoming, you feel like hanging around and spend some time there during your visit. This isn't a problem during the summer when you can stay outside in the back area of the house, where it is quite spacious and there are tables and chairs to enjoy some cold beverages. However, if it's cold and you want to stay in the living room, it would help to have a bigger couch or more sitting options, since it's a bit tight at the moment.

Cozy mountain stay

+ Cozy cabin style accommodation, beautiful view, well equipped kitchen, and exceptional host who was very helpful. Also fresh baked bread delivery in the morning! Great spot to explore Serra da Estrela and the beautiful mountain region. Highly recommended for friends or a small family. It was good to have the garage for parking too.

Cozy home in a friendly mountain town!

+ We absolutely loved Casa da Cantareira! Such a cozy home and Loriga was a friendly mountain town to base our travels around Torre from, and had delicious places for dinner and plenty of shops to get our supplies. The fresh bread every morning was such a treat!

Super comfortable house, great surroundings, Loved it!

+ Super comfortable house, good heating in the rooms and living room, very very cozy! Excellent localization in a beautiful country village, great to walk by foot and just a short drive away from several beautiful landscape points! We have loved it!

Superb

+ Loriga is a nice village tucked way in a deep beautiful valley, a great base to explore Serra da Estrela. The accommodation, having recently been renovated, is quaint, comfortable, clean, uncluttered and has all the facilities you might need. Communication with owner was great and nice treat to have fresh bread each morning. Highly recommend!

We packed a lot into 3 days. Hiking, river swimming and e-biking. all of which we can recommend fully!

+ The property was great, lovely views, clean, walking distance to the village centre and well located for activities around Loriga. Tiago was always very responsive and helpful. The few small issues we had were solved quickly and efficiently.

− The only downside was no aircon. It was pretty hot in the day time, and opening windows at night helped a lot.

highly recommended for a cozy stay

+ Casa da Cantareira is a home away from home. Tiago was really welcoming and made sure our stay was pleasant. The house is very cozy - a wonderful mixture between traditional village house flair and a modern interior. The kitchen is well equipped, the beds comfortable and a nice extra was the fresh bag of bread for breakfast. (Obrigada, Paula!) In summer the area is nice for hiking and swimming in the cool rivers. Over all, we regretted not having had the possibility to stay longer...
