Tranquil stay, beautiful view, amazing house!

+ The house was fantastic. João, the friendly host, was waiting for us with the keys and to give us a helpful tour of the house. The rooms are large and the beds are really comfortable, the showers are great, and the house has all you need to cook, eat and relax. We were three people working from the house and the wi-fi was working perfectly! But for people travelling for other reasons, the location is a key attractive, which is quite handy with many (windy) roads leading you to scenic walks, outstanding wines and delicious food. Would recommend highly!

+ Casa absolutamente fantástica. Perfeito para quem quer umas férias na região numa casa que tem tudo. Uma vista privilegiada para o Douro e um interior que superou todas as expectativas. Anfitriões pensaram em tudo ao pormenor, desde a decoração às comodidades. Além disso mostraram-se atenciosos, prestáveis e com gosto de bem receber. Voltaremos sem dúvida.

House with a view and more!

+ We had a wonderful stay at this luxury holiday home. The place was spotlessly clean, very tastefully decorated with some designers furniture and equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing break. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the living spaces tasteful and inviting. The highlight, without a doubt, was the breathtaking view on the Douro. The spacious terrace was just fantastic for enjoying breakfast and relaxing, it was all simply magical. A perfect spot to unwind and enjoy nature. Also we want to give compliments to the host who was always available for advice and tips. Highly recommended!

A marvelous house with a very kind owner

+ A marvelous house on two levels, bedrooms and bathroom at the street level with a great balcony. Below kitchen, dining room, another bedroom (for 1), another small bathroom and a large terrace with place to sit, eat (including barbecue) with a full view on Douro river and surrounding area At a lower level a room with wash machine. Kitchen full equipped, large fridge, wash machine Private area to park a medium size car available Joao, the owner, waited for us also if we arrived very late; he prepared for us a welcome with a bottle of wine and beer in the fridge, figs and a cake and was very helpful with suggestion on what to visit, where to eat (restaurant)...

− The area is great but if you want to go to visit other areas (Porto, Braga, Viseu) be prepared for at least 30 minutes of trip on mountain roads (up to 1000 mt).

Exceptional Home with a Beautiful Douro Valley View

+ An exceptional home to stay while visiting the Douro Valley. Right from the beginning, our host made us feel welcome and at home. We were offered local wine, fresh peaches from the garden, cake and treats! The home was clean and comfortable for our party of 5. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms generously sized. We immensely enjoyed our evenings while seating on the terrace overlooking the valley and sipping the local wines. What an ideal way to spend a vacation!

− Only wish we could have stayed longer. We hope to visit again with the plan to stay longer.
