Great place to stay for visiting the Bernabeu stadium and is very convenient to visit the centre

+ The location is good if you’re travelling to visit the Bernabeu stadium, as it’s a very spacious property. Easy access. Most of the amenities were great. Very well designed and decorated.

− Only one window (although large enough) makes the back of the property dark, so you’ll rely on switching the lights. It was a cold January when we visited Madrid, so the floor was freezing. I understand the city and properties aren’t ready for such cold temperatures, but it would be great to have some disposable slippers. The air conditioners kept the place warm, so there’s no issue with heat. One major drawback is the lack of a kettle. We had to boil the water in a pan to get tea and other hot drinks. The coffee machine is there, but no coffee capsules, which is insulting, because we had no clue what capsules to buy or where. This is a significant issue. The WiFi instructions were wrong. Luckily, we had a tech person amongst ourselves to sort it out. But it can be a significant issue for non-tech people. Please take it as a feedback for improvement, because you have a great property and you can make it 100% 5 stars. P.S. Also please consider replacing pillows with more harder ones. Thank you

Wonderful stay in Madrid

+ This apartment is a real treasure, we are extremely happy with our stay! For a great price we got a spacious and modern apartment with all the amenities. Furnished in a modern and tasteful way, we didn't miss anything to feel at home. There is amazing lighting and a TV, as well as good air conditioning and internet, a spacious modern bathroom. Not located in the center, but there is a Columbia metro station 10 min. walk away. Metro Line 8 from Columbia goes directly to the Airport. Carrefour store and a wonderful cafe a few meters away. Check-in is by code and can be anytime late at night. This was important for us as our flight was delayed and we arrived late. Recommendations: Buy a 10-trip card for €7.50 from the machines in the metro station. The card can be used by several people, and is marked for each person who passes. For the airport you need to load extra tickets at 3 euros per person, loaded onto the same card.

− We would recommend the host to answer questions about the stay. Maybe communication was the only thing we were missing. However, everything was fine. The apartment is on the ground floor directly on the street. I noticed that many apartments in Madrid are like this. But it was secured with good shutters and a lock, so we didn't worry about our security. But this was also an advantage for our stay in July, because of the heat.

+ We loved everything! It was clean, cosy, close to metro and bus stations, in a nice area. Various grocery stores were close (walking distance <10 min). The communication was straightforward, clear and easy!

+ Place was nicely decorated and modern.

− Construction was right outside our window. Sleeping in was not possible as construction started in the early mornings. No iron was found in the unit. Communication replies were not prompt. We got the iron the next day. The Kitchen sink Faucet was super loose. Overall a nice place with great potential once construction has been completed.
