Really good location

+ Great location in less than five minutes you are at the beach. The flat is really cute and a really nice outside area as well.The host Fred was really nice and let us stay longer since we had a late flight. I highly recommend

A wonderful week in a lovely villa with loads of outdoor space, all in a great area

+ It's a quick 15-20 min journey from the airport in a taxi. Fred met us at the door with the keys and gave us a simple handover of the property, plus we had been communicating on WhatsApp beforehand, so we had her details for anything we needed. She was there if we needed her, but left us to it during the week, which was perfect. The access is up some steps as mentioned, so not wheelchair accessible or suitable for those not great with climbing stairs, but for us it was just find. The stairs led to the property entrance with three nice distinct seating areas, including a table and chairs near the bbq. There was a second set of stairs to the roof terrace which got the sun all day and had lovely views of the mountains to the north and the sea to the south. The rest of the property inside was the ideal size for two people and had shutters to help block out the heat during the day and prevent light getting through in the morning. We loved the area generally, the apartment is in a nice quiet area albeit it's about 2 mins walk to the main street where there are nice bars and restaurants to visit. The main promenade is at the bottom of the street and allows access to the port on foot, via a nice beach walk or on the promenade itself. it's probably a 25min walk all the way to the marina, which is worth a visit, and there are nice beach-front bars to visit on the way. We stopped at beny's bar about half way to the marina for a refreshment and some shade. There is a great wee mercadona across the street - quickest way to it is out of the apt, down the stairs to the lower road and cut through the houses to the main street. cross the road and walk up about a minute and it's on your left. You can't miss it. There are shopping bags under the sink too, to save you buying some! Gas barbecue is great to cook on and heats up quickly, plenty of grill space to make the most of the local produce on offer. There's a 3-ring electric hob too, but no oven.

− nothing really to improve, perhaps some information about recycling would be handy to know, but it's obvious when you head to the main street (colour coded bins for paper(blue), cans and plastics(yellow), glass(green), organic waste(brown) and everything else in black.)

Villa FREDOV is a charming gem in Benalmadena with wonderful facilities and a superb host.

+ Villa FREDOV was centrally located to shops and restaurants; a fully equipped kitchen, great wifi. The apartment was comfortable and clean. The host was super helpful and friendly. We had private access to beautiful outdoor facilities including a view of the ocean. A gem!

− We liked it everything. Some might find the stairs to the villa a bit of a challenge if dealing with disabilities.

Great place to stay and close to restaurants & beach

+ Fantastic location and fantastic roof terrace. Very well equipped with everything you need for your stay.

− A lot of stairs up to the apartment. Would not be suitable for people who have mobility issues.

Zalig huis, goed gelegen en prachtige host.

+ Zeer leuk huisje met vele terrassen en een zalige dakterras met prachtig zicht. Alles is er voorzien en netjes. Een goed werkende airco. En een zeer vriendelijke, oprechte en behulpzame Host, gaf ons tips betreffende het huis, de warmte enz... Hiervoor een dikke merci FRED. Bevind zich op 5 min van het strand en 5 min van de winkelstraat. Zeer rustige omgeving. Zalig om te genieten wanneer je op reis bent. Ze zal ons zeker nog terugzien.

+ Recomand Casa Fredov, totul a fost ca în descriere, foarte curat și terasele cu o vedere spectaculoasă. Plaja foarte aproape, multe restaurante și magazine. Proprietara care locuiește în partea de jos am avut o colaborare frumoasă și e foarte amabilă, aș repeta acest sejur cu siguranță, nota 10.

Great stay at FREDOV

+ Nice host Fred who lives below met us on arrival and she talked us through everything we needed to know. Apartment was clean, well presented and in a great quiet location within short walking distance of bars, cafes and some really good restaurants . The outside space is the real selling point with several areas to sit including a wonderful upper terrace to sunbathe / chill with fantastic Mountain views. We had a really great time and would definitely return if available.

− Slight uphill approach and several steps up to property to encounter which we managed okay but would not suit older people or people with mobility issues. Full size iron board would have been better & cotton bed sheets preferable than the ones used.

A good location in Benalmadena

+ Fred lives below the apartment and met us on arrival and showed us around .Even though Fred lives below, there was never an intrusions and to hand if we needed anything.The roof terrace is lovely but a little hot when we visited as no shade, but there are other places to sit .There are also chairs for the beach which we found very useful ! The apartment is smaller than it looks but is adequate for 2 people and we didn't go on holiday to sit inside ! The bed is very comfortable but some of the fixtures etc are tired but again OK.There are quite steep steps to the apartment which may be an issue for some people .The beach is a couple of minutes walk away as are some lovely places to eat .All in all we had a good holiday

− The apartment has a massive amount of crockery, which is unnecessary and takes up all the kitchen cupboard space .This left nowhere to store any food that did not need to be refrigerated .It would be better to make roon for this

Stunning villa in a beautiful safe location

+ We loved the location,safe and quiet and the villa was equipped with everything we would need,the bed was very comfortable and outside we had a lovely patio sitting area,but the best bit for us was the fabulous roof terrace with sea views one way and Mountain View’s the other way.we was met buy the owner Fred who was lovely and explained everything to us and checked up on us during our stay.

+ Having our own outdoor space was brilliant for us, private pretty and quaint is what I’d call FREDOV Very close to beach and restaurants, loads of street parking if you hire a car. Bed was really comfortable Everything was spot on, would definitely recommend and would definitely go back xx Fred is very attentive and happy to help if needed she is only underneath you if you need anything xxx

Excellent Hostess and property.

+ We absolutely loved Fredov, it was even better than we expected ❤️ It had everything you needed, from cleaning products, toiletries, dishes, cutlery, glasses and towels. Fred is a brilliant Hostess, gave us a very warm welcome and showed us around. She told us to let her know if there were any problems, which there wasn't . The location is excellent, very close to all amenities, but in a quiet area, where you can sit and relax. The roof terrace was amazing, having both sea and mountain views. The house is very clean and furnished to a high standard, not what you would expect from a rental property. We would highly recommend Fredov 👌 We will definitely be back in the future. There are quite a few stairs up to the house, but well worth the climb.

Exceptional

+ We stayed in this apartment with my wife. From the very beginning of booking, the hostess Fred informed us, gave us useful advice. Upon check-in, she personally met us at the entrance and showed us everything in her apartment in a friendly way. These two-room apartments are spacious and comfortable enough for 2 people, clean and well equipped. A bed with a comfortable mattress, the kitchen is equipped with all the necessary equipment and utensils. One of the key advantages are the recreation areas in the form of terraces, one very spacious of which is located upstairs with a place to relax (we spent all our free evenings there), sun loungers and a shower. I would also like to mention the excellent location of the apartments - only 3-5 min. walk to the sea and at the same time in a quiet place. I definitely recommend this hotel to everyone. Thank you very much Fred.

Ideal accommodation and far superior than your standard holiday accommodation.

+ We had a very enjoyable time. Everything was just perfect. There was no compromise on quality and the sofa, shower and bed etc were all of a good standard. We also enjoyed the outdoor space and in particular the roof top. The hostess was very professional, friendly and pleasant. We would be happy to return and felt it was good value for money. The location is central yet quiet and we slept well.
