+ Tutto perfetto l'appartamento corrisponde alle foto viste da Booking. Tutto nuovo e i due bagni sono bellissimi. La posizione è ottima praticamente nel centro città. Un grazie ad Oliva che ci ha accolto con grande professionalità.

+ Good location and clean

− Although advertised as having airconditioning, the air conditioning did not work at all. There was a heatwave outside, and being 34 degrees outside, it was 32 degrees inside as the airconditioning did not work. The team did not seem to know that the building had not turned on the airconditioning yet. We did not sleep at all on the first night. Being a flat advertised with air conditioning, this was the reason we booked it during the heatwave, and this was extremely unacceptable. We were told there was nothing we could do as the building hadn’t switched on the AC. There was a smaller airconditioning unit in the living room, which didn’t work either. The team fixed this on our second day and we were forced to sleep on the couch as the bedroom was still too hot. We set the smaller airconditioning unit to 16 degrees, and left it on for 2 days. Even after fixing, the temperature of the room did not go lower than 25 degrees. After our first awful night, we slept 2 nights uncomfortably on the couch. A really uncomfortable stay, which was unfortunate as it negated the good location, facilities, and cleanliness. In addition, the teams communication seemed good at first, which quickly went down hill Although at first the team was responsive whilst I was staying there, I gave this feedback after checkout as I felt that the stay was not worth what I paid. I chose this apartment over a hotel so we could have an area to relax, but with the apartment being so hot, we could spend zero time there comfortably. I should’ve booked a hotel room instead. After writing to the team, they started ignoring me, with clearly no intention of taking on the feedback or doing anything to rectify the situation.

+ Clean and reasonably comfortable - it was fitted out in a good way with appliances and crockery etc

− 1. This property is NOT on the Gran Via and has absolutely no outlook other than a narrow lane way looking across to another building some 5 metres away - so we needed to keep the blinds closed all the time 2. Very thin walls with quite noisy neighbors next door - plus a dog barking on and off most of the time we were in - although madflats responded very promptly to the noise issue they were ultimately unsuccessful in reducing the noise - consequently we were spending as much time as we could out of the apartment which was not our intention 3. We were there for two weeks and were not offered a change of bed sheets and towels despite requesting on a couple of occasions - we were advised to use the washer / dryer - first time we’ve experienced this for a stay over 2 weeks 3. No basic items in the apartment eg salt pepper oil which are usually in rental apartments the cupboards were bare

− Noise in the building(from apartment above) but that doesn't really have anything with this apartment Few things are worn out and it is probably time for small repairs( kitchen top has few scratches, and magnet on bedroom door lock is not working well so door opens sometimes alone)...but overall, great apartment..I would definitely recommend it

In the heart of Gran Via!

+ Very organized and well thought of apartment had used to the kitchen so many times. The location is perfect to access gran via in less than 5 mins walk. The flat equipped with 2 smart TVs made my mother happy not to miss her shows at night. The space is clean and the building is well kept. The doorman and staff very kind and helpful.

+ The apartment was well beyond my expectations, very clean and comfortable. The location is perfect, especially for a tourist trip. I was in Madrid for work and needed to get to the intercabiador Moncloa to catch the bus to Villafranca de Castillo, but I didn't want to give up living where the Madrid movida is. It is fully equipped with washing machine and dishwasher. During my long stay (5 weeks) it was like being at home for me. The only negative thing about the apartment is that it is not very bright, it is on the third floor and the windows face an interior street. Overall, I highly recommend booking this place!

− Construction was going on in the outside Plaza area. Not long they will be done, and it is looking stunning.

Comfortable apartment very central location

+ Very clean and comfortable apartment. Very central location. Keyless access is great and made check in easy. WhatsApp support from the MadFlats team was great and they were very helpful and resolved an issue quickly and made us feel very welcome.

− There were no coffee pods for the machine.
