The room was well appointed and clean. The included breakfast was served and excellent. Highly recommend if you are traveling the camino or find yourself in the Galacia region of Spain.

+ The sweetest hotel with a very attentive, funny and personable owner. Robert made our stay so pleasant and helped me when I had a medical issue with printing my ream of travel insurance documents, calling me a taxi to go to a medical center, and checking on me after I got back. The breakfast was by far the best we had in our 5 weeks in Portugal/Spain at a hotel. And have him help pick some wines that they sell and you can enjoy in the dining area in the afternoon/evening. Can't say enough good things about our experience!

+ It has taken 2 1/2 camino’s to finally fine the perfect resting place. From the welcome to the farewell, nothing is too much trouble. But it’s the little things the extras, the unnecessary extras that make this hotel stand out among so many. Let’s begin with the sparkling Cleanliness of both the room and bathroom and the bedding and towels. The welcome electric tea kettle to make coffee or tea with a generous amount of supplies. Then there is the shampoo conditioner and even make up remover wipes, and on top of that after a long day of walking, they supply cooling foot gel in little packets. And for those of us attached to our cell phones or iPads, my self included both sides of the bed have adequate plugs plus USB and a ports for all types of electronics. To keep the sun out there are shutters that come down not the food enclosed type, but the real expensive type That has the little slots in them. A hearty breakfast is also served. This little diamond is in a quiet neighborhood but close to excellent restaurants with the supermarket directly opposite and a pharmacy half a block away as hosts, Robert And Val have created a very special place. It’s in a part of Spain, right on the Portuguese coastal camino with stunning ocean views close by and I just wish it was closer to my own home so that I could do a few staycations there , because the Love for what they do and their immaculate attention to detail shines through from the minute, you arrive to the minute you leave. The most memorable hotel of the Camino

+ This was a delightful hotel stay. The host was quirky and fun and engaging. The rooms were clean with many sweet amenities offered. I would definitely recommend this place.

+ From check in to check out everything was wonderful at Hotel Arce! The owner was funny, thorough and helpful. His dog was also so cute! Had a wonderful breakfast and the beds were really comfortable. I also enjoyed that it was quiet outside of the city center but still had excellent food options around.

+ Nice little place, clean, quiet, and welcoming. Teakettle with coffee/tea was a welcome amenity. Good continental breakfast. Robert was great, as was the staff at breakfast. Robert was very helpful with our bicycles. Good value for this city.

A wonderful stay.

+ A very welcoming and comfortable stay. The facilities are clean and well appointed with good size rooms. Nice breakfast, love the fresh squeezed orange juice. The location is quiet and away from Baiona city center, yet an easy walk; also walking distance to playa America. To top it off, the host/owners are friendly, helpful and accommodating. We had a lovely three days and nights.

Great location on the Camino.

+ My wife and I rode the Camino on bicycles and selected this hotel knowing they could securely store the bikes during our stay. We really enjoyed the hotel. It is right on the Camino. Everything was clean and efficient. The first time we arrived, we had a moment's difficulty finding the entrance. It is located around the left side. The verbose manager greeted us pleasantly and escorted us to the garage to store the bikes. Laundromat, grocery and pharmacy just down the street! The room was well appointed with a tea/coffee kettle, (with packages of each) nice toilet (with some toiletries provided) and lots of light. We had a peaceful and quiet sleep. The breakfast in the morning was a bit "Martial" but in the end we had a satisfying breakfast. I would recommend Hotel Arce and would definitely stay here again.

Tranquility in Baiona

+ I stayed at hotel Arce in Baiona with family. The hospitality of Robert the owner far exceeded my expectations. Robert and staff , food servers and housekeepers, were kind and most pleasant. The daily information provided by Robert made our stay greater than I imagined. Continental Breakfast was delicious and fully enjoyed. Great stay in Baiona!

+ Very comfortable and relaxing stay at the Hotel Arce. Wonderful owners provide amazing customer service in a beautiful part of Spain. My wife and I had our 27th wedding anniversary on the day we arrived. I worked with the owners to have food, wine, and flowers waiting for us in our room. They worked with me every step of the way prior to our arrival to provide a once in a lifetime experience. Highly recommend!

Great & Restorative Stay

+ Superb stay and stop off as we are doing the Camino. I had a brother with a stomach bug- owner super- great advice and sense of honour thrown in! Rooms very comfortable- best night sleep since leaving Porto- love the Spanish blinds. Nice thoughtful touches like feet balm and a decent breakfast and good cheer to set us on our way! Great local restaurants supermarket all on hand.

+ This was a lovely stay! The inn keeper was friendly and kind and very helpful! The room was comfortable, pristine, and had every detail covered! The breakfast was delicious! The breakfast staff was great, too! I highly recommend a stay here! I will be back, for sure!

+ Excellent rooms and location.It was all very very enjoyable. The rooms were clean and fresh. It was all a great experience. We would go back there any moment. The staff was very kind and helpful in all the things they did for us: making reservations telling us where to go and being very pleasant in their responses.

+ A Hidden Gem That Feels Like Home Hotel Arce is the kind of place that stays with you long after you leave. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the care and attention to detail in every corner of the space. It’s clear that a lot of love goes into maintaining the hotel — from the eco-friendly bathroom products to the softest toilet paper we’ve found in a European hotel (yes, really!) Each room is thoughtfully arranged, clean, and features a charming little veranda that opens up to let in the fresh air. We even had a living plant in our room — such a refreshing and personal touch that made it feel more like a home than a hotel. Though there’s no pool, the heart of Hotel Arce is truly the owner, who goes above and beyond for every guest. He answered every question with patience and kindness, helped us book taxis, gave great restaurant recommendations, and even offered directions when we probably asked too much of him. His generosity and warmth were unforgettable. Breakfast was simple but just right — everything we needed to start our day off well. Hotel Arce is clean, comfortable, welcoming, and filled with small details that make a big difference. I cannot recommend it enough. Thank you for making our rest day during our Camino such a lovely experience!

Great Place

+ We took the train from Madrid and were delayed. Arrived at 11PM and the proprietor stayed in the lobby for us!! We were so grateful. So close to the Camino! Breakfast is included and fantastic!! Highly recommend and they have coffee and water in the room!

+ A very memorable stay on our Camino! Beautiful hotel, super clean, comfortable and fantastic shower. We had a pretty view of the chapel. Appreciated the quiet location off the main road at the end of Baiona which allowed for a later start on the Camino. THE BREAKFAST is the best! Lots of selection, espresso machine coffee to order and friendly table service. Owner operator Robert is friendly, helpful and offered local suggestions for restaurants and services. We loved our stay! 10/10

Lovely stay at this quiet, beautiful hotel

Excellent hotel

+ Lovely hotel. Fully equipped en-suite rooms with tea and coffee making facilities. Thoughtful touches such as revitalising foot lotion in the bathroom for those on the Camino de Santiago. Rob the owner is very helpful and friendly and directed us to a lovely restaurant just down the road. Highly recommended.
