Hotel Malte - Astotel

Love the Malte.

+ This Malte -Astotel has earned a good reputation and it is easy to see why. Their attention to detail is impressive. Angela at the front desk worked hard to see that things were perfect. We had a king size bed and it’s as good a bed as I’ve slept on. The sheets are wonderful. Th room size is better than most. Food is good. The prices here are reasonable and you don’t get nickel and dimed. We’ll come back for sure.

Clean, Convient, Exceptional Staff

+ Clean, Convenient Hotel with Exceptional Staff The staff was extremely helpful, pleasant, and accommodating. We had purchased several porcelain items and needed additional packaging, and the staff kindly provided extra bags to help protect them from breakage during transport. The hotel was clean and conveniently located within easy walking distance of restaurants and other venues. Breakfast offered a good variety of food, and snacks and beverages were available 24 hours a day. We truly enjoyed our stay and appreciated the excellent service.

Lovely hotel & staff

+ This is such a lovely hotel, in an excellent location, and with the nicest staff. We were considerably stressed when, a few days before our arrival, our reservation was cancelled due to a declined credit card (which had been compromised and replaced). Hotels.com insisted that they could not provide us with any assistance. After a desperate few calls directly to Hotel Malte, we spoke with the lovely Brenda, who kindly sorted the problem out for us. Our rooms were very quiet and comfortable, and the buffet breakfast was of excellent quality and variety, and served in a beautiful room. Our grandchildren were most pleased with all the lovely offerings of pastries and fruit, but happily discovered that the healthier foods were also very yummy. We ate too much, worried that our clothes would stop fitting, but then valiantly went back for afternoon snacks provided by hotel.

An excellent hotel to explore Paris

+ We arrived earlier than check-in time, just with the intention to leave our bags and start exploring Paris. I was a great surprise that we got the opportunity to take breakfast for free before we took of, which was a warm welcome after the long journey to get to the hotel. The personnel of the hotel is very kind and helpful, the location of the hotel allowed us the explore Paris bay foot but we could find nearby metro stations when needed. The hotel is comfortable and clean, you get extra perks like drinks in the minibar which are replenished every day, not to mention the open bar and sweets in the lobby from 2pm until 2am, and you can use that in all Astotel hotels from Paris.

Perfect little oasis

+ Hotel Malte was the perfect little gem for this solo one week trip. The staff were amazing, especially since I messed up my reservation and they immediately made it all more than ok for me. The location was perfect. Easy access to shopping, restaurants and public transportation, while being very quiet. The hotel was clean and chic and I felt comfortable throughout my stay. I would absolutely recommend and I'll be choosing this as my go to spot when I come back.

+ Beautiful and convenient location with very helpful, friendly receptions. My room was randomly upgraded to a suite which made my stay in Paris even more special.

August solo stay

+ The location is perfect, it’s central enough where you can walk anywhere, but it is also quiet and calm in the hotel. It is very much worth the money, the amenities are great and the staff is extremely accommodating. Would totally stay again!

+ The hotel was in a great location, 10 minute walk to the Louvre and around the corner from Palais Royale. The staff was very friendly and the family room worked well for our family of 5.

+ Beautiful hotel. Excellent location on quiet street and within easy walking distance of the Louvre and several bus and metro stops. The staff welcomed us with fun balloons in the room for my daughter, who was celebrating a birthday during our stay. An unexpected surprise and well received hospitality!! Very safe and secure with locked hotel doors requiring room key access for entry at all times. The breakfast buffet was amazing, worth the value. Would absolutely stay again if ever in Paris.

Wonderful Stay at Hotel Malte Astotel

+ We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Malte Astotel in Paris. The location is absolutely perfect — within about a 15-minute walk of the Louvre, Place Vendôme, the Tuileries Gardens, and the Opéra. It was an ideal base for exploring Paris on foot. The breakfast was excellent — very generous, fresh, and with a great variety of choices. Our room was comfortable, spotless, and quiet, and we especially enjoyed having access to the lovely interior courtyard. What really made our stay special was the staff. Everyone was polite, welcoming, and genuinely willing to help with anything we needed. A special thank you to Angela at reception and her colleague. They went above and beyond to help us arrange taxis and make a restaurant reservation at Le Procope. Their kindness and attention made us feel very well taken care of. We would happily stay at Hotel Malte again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable hotel in a fantastic location in the heart of Paris.

Excellent Hotel!

+ Exceptional stay at Hotel Malte. The staff were incredibly warm, professional and attentive, the hotel was spotless, and the level of service was outstanding. You can really feel the excellent management and attention to detail throughout the hotel. After staying in many hotels in Paris over the years, this is easily one of the very best. I will definitely return and highly recommend it.

Amazing stay in Paris!

+ We had an amazing stay at Hotel Malte! We had a lovely surprise to find our room full of balloons and a complimentary bottle of champagne and macarons for my daughter's 18th birthday! The room was great! Spotlessly clean and very spacious. The reception staff were wonderful! They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and made our celebration very special! The open bar was great in the afternoons with a nice variety of soft drinks and snacks. It was handy that we could use other hotels when we were out and about. The hotel is in a good location just a short walk from The Louvre and Metro stations. We would definitely recommend this to anyone going to Paris.

Well worth staying at

+ The hotel is located within walking distance of major tourist attractions, such as the Louvre Museum. The tea salon on the first floor is open to guests from 2:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m., and I really appreciated being able to grab a light snack there when I arrived late at night. The minibar in the room doesn’t offer alcoholic beverages, but it’s free to use, and they’ll restock it if you run out. Breakfast is also lavish. The staff are all very friendly, and you can feel free to ask them for anything. The room rates aren’t cheap, but I think you’ll find them well worth it.

Return Visit

+ This was our second stay at Astotel Malte. The first was about nine years ago. We like it not only because it’s within walking distance of the Louvre, and Notre Dame, but the staff is pleasant and helpful. We weren’t familiar with the Metro and were planning to take a taxi to Gare de Lyon, but the desk staff outlined on a map how to use the Metro, and saved us a lot of money. The closest Metro stations are about a five to ten minute walk, depending on where you want to go. If we ever get back to Paris, Malte will be our choice.

What a gem of a hotel!

+ We had a great stay at Hotel Malte - Astotel, made extra special by Fabio who went above and beyond to ensure birthday celebrations were extra special. Great central location, comfortable room and good amenities. We also liked the fact that you could use the facilities, including afternoon drinks and snacks, at any of the other Astotel hotels in Paris.

+ Hotel Astotel is a charming boutique hotel in the heart of Paris, making it an ideal base for exploring the city. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the in-room minibar was restocked daily with complimentary refreshments, which was a wonderful touch. The hotel also features a spacious, welcoming lobby. What truly made our stay exceptional was the outstanding staff, especially the team at the front desk. Their kindness, professionalism, and willingness to help made us feel genuinely welcome throughout our visit. Merci for taking such wonderful care of my family and making our stay so memorable!
