They are not worthless points: they are euros. They accumulate automatically and are deducted from your next booking. The platform pays for them, not the host.
For each paid night, you are credited 1 € in bonus. Ten nights a year are ten euros for your next getaway.

2 € per night.
The level is calculated based on the nights you have accumulated on the platform. It goes up automatically; you don't need to request it.
They are spent on host accommodations: when booking, the form shows your balance and lets you apply it as a direct discount on the total. In hotels from the global catalog, they accumulate but cannot yet be deducted. They are reserved when the booking is created and confirmed once payment is complete; if the booking is cancelled, the balance returns to your account.
The balance expires after 6 months of inactivity. Any activity — a new booking, a bonus earned or used — resets the period, so as long as you use the platform, you won't lose it.
