Altera Hotel ★★★★

Kategorie

• Limpieza8,0

Mostly clean overall (several guests mention 'absolut sauber' and fresh towels), but isolated issues reported (very dirty toilet brush in one loft), so slightly above average.

• Servicio9,2

Staff repeatedly described as attentive and friendly (Brasserie staff praised, 'Personal super nett', helpful reception despite relocation), though reception was sometimes hard to find due to construction.

• Ubicación9,7

Consistently praised: central, excellent location in/near pedestrian zone and shopping passage; multiple guests highlight the hotel's great/huge advantage in location.

• Habitaciones7,4

Rooms are often spacious and well equipped, but some are dated or affected by renovation (rooms 'in die Jahre gekommen', squeaky bed frames, lofts with poor views), leading to mixed ratings.

• Instalaciones7,6

Mixed: good provisions like secured bike storage and large TVs, but recurring issues with in-room coffee machines/kettles (broken or unusable) and lack of elevator in some stays.

• Relación calidad-precio6,5

Several guests explicitly complain about poor price–performance ('Preis-/Leistung nicht gegeben'; Oldenburg hotels generally seen as poor value), so this is the weakest category.

• Comida y bebida9,2

Frequently praised: breakfast in the Brasserie (freshly prepared eggs, attentive service), tasty restaurant food and good coffee — strong positive sentiment across reviews.

• Experiencia general8,8

Generally positive overall ('Immer wieder gerne', 'Positiv überrascht'), with enjoyment of breakfast, location and service, tempered by disturbance from ongoing renovations and some room/amenity issues.
