Super gite de caractère

+ Très belle bâtisse dans le style montagne. D’époque mais toujours opérationnel, avec un caractère affirmé. Je recommande ce gîte pour les amoureux du terroir

Stopover to Spain.

+ We were just looking for somewhere to stay overnight on our way down to Spain. It would have been nice to possibility stay a few more nights in this lovely old house in the village of Bedous. If you are looking for something individual and quirky this is the place. The lovely old furnishings in the house fitted beautifully with the age of the house. The owner was lovely and helpful. Breakfast was included and very nice.

+ La estancia ha sido correcta ,con algunas pegas La dueña muy amable y atenta en todo momento . La habitacion bien,pero no incluia vàter, solo ducha y lavabo, el váter en el pasillo En la habitacion habian muchas moscas ,no se la causa porqué la habitacion estaba limpia, pero las moscas incomodan Por lo demás bastante bien.

Value for money, petit chateau in Pyrenees

+ What a magnificent hotel! I think I fell in love with it. There are so many hotels that are identical and very forgettable, this hotel most definitely is not. It is unique and quirky and beautiful and wonderful. The owner is so lovely, I wanted to give her a hug when we left. I would definitely return!

+ Gorgeous town and location. Service was excellent and friendly. Beautiful rooms, very dated but thats what made it so good.

+ The room needs a good clean, bed felt damp, saud queen bed but git a single bed, No lock on bedroom door, infact mo locks on any doors apart from Toilet. Host was very abrupt.

+ Agréable séjour dans une maison de caractère idéalement située au cœur du village de Bedous. Accueil bienveillant et empathique. On se sent immédiatement bien dans cette demeure qui a une âme.

Authentique et magnifique, un petit peu spartiate

+ Maison et cadre magnifiques. Une salle de bains plus séparée de la chambre et une température ambiante un peu plus confortable auraient approché la pleine satisfaction, tout en tenant compte des économies nécessaires dans ce domaine. Je reviendrai de toute façon. Merci beaucoup.

Excellent

+ Wonderful stay at this 17th century b&b. Bed so comfy, and it was a delight to stay somewhere which is so original with period furniture. Breakfast was good, i went for hot chocolate which was delicious. Only drawback for me was no hairdryer, however we would go back as a great stop travelling to and fro to Spain. Good safe parking, and a nice village.

No volveré

+ Estuve una noche en esta casa y no me gustó mucho. La habitación no tenia baño privado como ponía en la web de reserva, había una ducha justo enfrente de la puerta y un WC unos metros más adelante. La habitación era bastante antigua y daba un poco de cosa...había puertas que conectaban con otras habitaciones, estaban cerradas, pero aún así era como raro todo. El principal problema para mí en esta época fue la calefacción. No estaba puesta, había unos 13 grados en la casa. Cuando bajé a decírselo a la propietaria me encontré otras personas que iban a pedirle mantas para dormir. Le dije si no había calefacción a lo que me contestó con señales que me pusiera ropa y que no había calefacción. Tuve que dormir con la ropa térmica que llevaba y dos mantas que cogí del armario. La ropa de cama un poco viejecilla... Respecto al desayuno, correcto; café con leche, zumo, pan, una napolitana de chocolate, mantequilla y mermelada. La propietaria no me cobró la tasa municipal al irme. La sensación general fue de dejadez por parte de la propietaria. No se veía limpieza, lo justito diría yo.

Helemaal blij

+ Aardige dame op leeftijd runt dit grote huis met enige kamers. Fantastisch! Grote kamer en vers stokbrood met jam en een chocolatine als ontbijt. Goed internet. Supermarkt in volgende dorpje, klein ritje op de fiets. Op maandag is ook een restaurant in dat dorpje open, in Bedous is alled op maandag dicht.

+ Séjour parfait dans une magnifique demeure. Hôtes accueillants et chaleureux et de bons conseils pour les promenades et restaurants. Petit déjeuner très bon avec de bonnes confitures maison

Experiência numa casa antiga

+ A casa tem muita história. Segundo a placa na frente, foi do fundador da cidade de Bedous. Casarão antigo mas bem conservado e com todo conforto. Apesar do banheiro ser fora do quarto, era só para nosso uso. Fiquei impressionada que, apesar do assoalho de madeira, não ouvíamos nenhum barulho do lado de fora do quarto. Atendimento muito simpático. Recomendo.

+ Excellent séjour dans une maison ancienne. Village très calme et reposant. Commodités à 5mn à pied ou en voiture (centre commercial). Hôte très sympathique et avenante.

Bas prix n'excuse pas tout

+ Un séjour bon marché dans une belle demeure mais dans des standards de confort et de propreté du siecle passé. WC et salle de bain à partager. Surprise! Unique fauteuil de la chambre au tissu maculé de tâches et au 2 pattes avant cassées. Pas d'oreiller, un traversin très plat. Certaines chambres sont peut-être mieux que d'autres? Le petit prix ne suffit pas à en faire un bon séjour. On ne nous l'a d'ailleurs pas demandé en partant. Une evidence.

+ Hébergement bien situé. Bon rapport qualité prix. Toilettes trop distantes avec la salle de bain (pour lavage de mains). Absence de protection contre la Covid-19 (ni gel, ni savon, et masque pas encouragé). Se protéger tout en protégeant les autres.

+ Très bon accueil. Endroit ayant le charme d antan, loin des chaînes d hôtellerie moderne. Emplacement bon, maison propre, hôtesse très sympathique.

+ Vriendelijke ontvangst! Super service! Ik voel aan alsof ik vroeger op bezoek ging bij oude tante ! De gezelligheid en warmte , de oude meubelen in acajou, notelaar, oude pendules !sierlijke houten trap die kraakt met mooi tapijt! Heimwee naar deze goeie oude tijd die je niet meer vind! Mooie ervaring

+ Old historic home, run by a charming old lady. It belonged to Pierre Laclède, founder of Saint Louis (Missouri). It has remained in the family ever since. Excellent (continental) breakfast included in the very low price. The village of Bedous is charming and there are at least three quite decent restaurants.

A charming stay!

+ What a charming old building! Easy to find, and a very warm welcome. Comfortable beds, a good nights sleep and delicious breakfast with the lady of the house, who clearly knows and loves her region. Lovely view from the bedroom window in the morning too. Bedous itself is also a nice place to visit with no shortage of nice places to eat and drink.

+ Lovely, old, traditional French country house. We had the suite at the top of the hotel - effectively a self- contained, 2-bed apartment. It was like stepping back in time which added to the charm. The Madame of the house was very accommodating and friendly. We had a traditional French breakfast with fresh bread, croissants and pan au chocolat.

Très bon rapport qualité/prix

+ Maison de maîtres très typée dans un joli village. La maîtresse de maison est très typée : rigide et efficace. La chambre est propre, le lit confortable, les draps sentent bon la lessive, la chambre est munie d’un lavabo, d’une cabine douche, de serviettes de toilette, de la WIFI. Excellent petit-déjeuner (pain frais, et croissants, hum!!!).

Unique place

+ What a unique place. Shame that you couldn’t lock the door when going to the toilet down the corridor. The location was NOT where the directions took you to. Luckily I found a local who spoke enough English to help me out. Owners thought I hadn’t paid on booking.
