− Paz três fácil pour accéder, et le petit déjeuner il n’y avait pas trop de choix

+ L'hôtel a un très beau jardin,belle et grande piscine avec serviette à disposition.. La petite cuisine à disposition avec frigo très pratique

− Le petit déjeuner pourrait être un peu plus garni un gâteau ,viennoiseries....

+ Schöne Aussicht, gepflegte und allgemein angenehme Location mit Pool. Reiche Frühstücksauswahl.

− Nicht sonderlich flexibel mit Frühstücksuhrzeiten. Leider gibt es immernoch keine regionale Käse und wenig lokale Früchtesorten, so wie von einer anderen Kundin mal in einer früheren Rezension erwähnt. Die Location ist nicht weit weg vom Dorf, allerdings zu Fuß nicht leicht erreichbar, da sehr steil. Unser Bett war leider nicht sehr komfortabel, hart und vom Bettzentrum seitlich nach unten hängend.

+ Colazione ricchissima e terrazza meravigliosa, abbiamo adorato svegliarci così! Il piccolo lusso della piscina molto apprezzato e lo staff davvero gentile

− Anche se la prenotazione indicava la presenza di parcheggio nella struttura, abbiamo dovuto parcheggiare su strada. Inoltre, la pendenza della strada su cui si trova la struttura è stata un pò problematica per una donna in gravidanza al 5o mese

+ L’accueil et la piscine, personnel arrangeant pour le service du déjeuner plus tôt selon notre demande. Vue magnifique et joli jardin, très bon petit déjeuner! Je recommande!

D. Estefãnia super atenciosa e simpática e estacionamento disponível a 100m do alojamento.

+ Excelente anfitriã que nos recebeu e nos mostrou todas as comodidades e sempre que precisámos nos ajudou, Super simpática e atenciosa a D. Estefãnia, O pequeno almoço era diversificado com cereais, fruta, diversos tipos de pão, queijo, fiambre, tomate, ovos e um docinho sempre diferente todos os dias. Por vezes havia uns croissants tipo brioche que eram deliciosos, No quarto que ficámos ainda tínhamos acesso a um espaço reservado onde tomávamos as refeições com uma vista incrível sobre a cidade. A cozinha partilhada tinha o suficiente para preparar alguma refeição e ainda tínhamos a piscina mesmo ali ao lado com mesas e espreguiçadeiras para relaxar.

− A única coisa a apontar é mesmo o estacionamento que optámos por não deixar na mesma rua e temos que subir uns 100metros a pique, o que, com compras ou de chinelos se torna mais complicado devido à inclinação. As camas eram um pouco altas e não dava para encostar os colchões.

+ Casa do Caseiro è un piccolo hotel nella zona di Monte. Il posto è molto tranquillo e piuttosto vicino alle zone d’interesse. Stefania ci ha accolti nel bel mezzo della notte e si è dimostrata disponibile durante tutto il soggiorno. La colazione era semplice ma buonissima!

+ Établissement magnifique et dans un charme extérieur somptueux ! Je recommande à 100% cet hôtel ! Les personnes qui s’en occupent sont parfait aussi, ainsi que la patronne était au petit soin !

Positive stay

+ The rooms are very clean, the view from the apartment are quite good as you live up the hill, the overall area in the hotel is quite nice as there are some pond fishes, some other things. There was always space near the hotel for car parking on the street. The hotel owner is very polite so all good, communication no problem. The beds are really hard, but since I have back issues for me it was amazing as I felt like sleeping on the floor. (it was that hard).

− Our toilet was not working properly so we had to use old fashion flush (remove the lid and use the string to flush it). Other than that all is okay. One important thing to anyone coming, keep in mind that this hotel is on steep hill. Walking down the first two days i felt my calves numb. Going up the hotel we always used táxi which is around 10 euros with uber from the old town/port area.

+ Endroit très charmant, personnel agréable. Le petit-déjeuner était bon. Il y avait de la place pour se garer non loin. La piscine est grande et super bonne, des serviettes de piscine qui sentent bons sont mises à disposition et il y a des transats.

− Seul problème, le lit n'est pas très grand et surtout le matelas est extrêmement dur.

On our opinion.

+ The house is excellent, Stephania is very nice 👍 the room and the beds are perfectly clean. The buffet breakfast 🤤 was amazing. We used the pool every day.

− The location was not very good, up a very steep hill, as is most accomodation on Funchal is. We walked down to the centre once, it's a 40 minutes walk and a táxi back up was 15 euro.

− A reggeli ugyan benne volt az árban, de egyáltalán nem volt nagy szám, egy elég gyenge kontinentális hotelreggelinek feleltethető meg.

Con qualche accortezza potrebbe essere meglio

+ La pulizia della camera era perfetta, il complesso in generale è molto carino e la titolare è disponibile per ogni necessità. La colazione è sufficiente

− Lucertole ovunque, tante, troppe. Di mattina o sera saltavano sui divani esterni e giravano in continuazione. Bisognerebbe provvedere ad una disinfestazione. Ho soggiornato ad Agosto 2026 e senza il condizionatore abbiamo faticato a riposare e nella nostra camera non c'era un balconcino o qualcosa per stendere i costumi o gli asciugamani. Manca anche un piccolo frigo dove poter mettere le cose in fresco ma c'è n'è uno condiviso con le altre camere.

Ottimo soggiorno, tranquillo e curato !

+ Ho soggiornato qui per 10 giorni fra fine luglio e inizio agosto con un amica e ci siamo trovate davvero molto bene. A partire dall’accoglienza, ci siamo subito trovate a nostro agio e pronte per iniziare la nostra vacanza sull’isola. Le stanze erano perfette e la pulizia era quotidiana, era inoltre possibile avere dei teli da utilizzare a bordo piscina. La piscina è davvero “una chicca” un luogo dove riposarsi al ritorno dalle gite (darò che il sole tramonta molto tardi)oppure dove passare del tempo “vuoto “ tra un attività e l’altra. A nostro avviso un ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo , era compreso il wi fi e la colazione (essenziale ma adeguata, con piccole variazioni giornaliere sui prodotti) Il parcheggio non è compreso ma è facilmente trovabile sulla strada (consigliamo di andare in giù per alcuni metri fino a una piazzola sulla destra dove troverete altri veicoli)

Hoog gelegen hotel.

+ Heerlijk ontbijt! Prachtig uitzicht. Je kunt buiten ontbijten.

− Hotel ligt hoger dus vaak bewolking en zodoende eind juni niet aan het zwembad kunnen zitten. Zeer kleine kamer met oud meubilair. Geen horren dus muggen binnen. Geen fijne stoelen om op te zitten met ontbijten (metalen eetstoelen). Je kunt naar het centrum lopen maar omdat het steil naar beneden gaat, loopt dit niet fijn.

+ Un charme incontestable pour cet établissement! Merci infiniment pour l'accueil et la gentillesse du gérant :) Chambres classiques mais tres confortables. Le petit-déjeuner était parfait! Très bien si tu es dans Funchal, tout est faisable sans voiture mais attention ça grimpe!

− Le bruit de la route passant en dessous mais l'hôtel n'y peut rien :)

Przytulne i kameralne, fajne miejsce na pobyt. Raczej dla zmotoryzowanych ;)

+ Wszystko bardzo dobrze utrzymane i czyste. Wyposażenie pokoi nie najnowsze ale zadbane. Bardzo dobra kawa na śniadaniach. Przyjazny i pomocny Właściciel oraz Personel. Dodatkowa ogólnie dostępna kuchnia z lodówką i wyposażeniem do przygotowania sobie posiłków. Na miejscu mini bar z napojami i przekąskami za opłatą. Bufet śniadaniowy dosyć zróżnicowany, chociaż brakowało dań na ciepło (jedynie jajecznica i czasami omlet). Nieopodal bezpłatny miejski parking. Blisko centrum Funchal. Basen nie za duży ale każdy mógł skorzystać kiedy chciał :)

− Ciężko wrócić na piechotę z miasta ze względu na położenie obiektu ;). Kawałek drogi do najbliższego sklepiku spożywczego. Hotel położony nad drogą szybkiego ruchu co niestety było słychać w pokoju.

− Pool nicht wirklich sauber und mir zu kalt Bett unbequem Zimmer eng und nicht optimal

+ - lekker ontbijt - gemakkelijk gratis parkeren dichtbij - leuke tuin - vriendelijke vrouw aan het ontbijt - goede prijs-kwaliteit - zwembad - goed bed

− - de locatie was ver van het centrum en ver van restaurantjes om ‘s avonds iets te eten - je kon de kamer niet verduisteren - ramen waren enkel glas en veel lawaai van de drukke straat dichtbij - water van de douche was lauw

+ Coup de coeur :on se croirait dans une belle demeure des grands lacs italiens Le parc est magnifique et on peut y prendre l'excellent petit déjeuner . Une cuisine est à disposition . Excellent accueil de notre hôtesse qui adore le contact (bien mieux qu'une boite à clés )

− Rue étroite et pentue , un peu loin du centre de Funchal ( mais ici nous avons pu trouver du stationnement tous les soirs.

+ Het is een fijn verblijf waar je je erg thuis voelt. Je hebt 24/7 toegang tot het zwembad en tot de keuken waar je drinken en snacks kan pakken. Dit is fijn aangezien er weinig winkels in de buurt zijn. Er is een gedeelde keuken waar je eventueel zelf nog iets kan maken. Het terras is heerlijk met een mooi uitzicht over funchal. Ondanks de smalle straatjes heeft het hotel op 150m afstand een ruime parkeerplek waar wij altijd een plekje hadden, dit is uniek in de omgeving!

− Het is iets verouderd en het bed is best hard. Voor een paar dagen prima.

+ Very friendly, accommodating staff, nice pool, great breakfast buffet, lovely high view over Funchal. Location is just near the end of the wicker toboggan ride and a 20 min easy walk down the hill to the old town.
