Agréable séjour à Casa do Mar

+ L'emplacement est fabuleux, au calme et au bord de la mer. Nous n'avons manqué de rien pour le petit déjeuner. Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Mona qui est une personne adorable.

Wir waren zufrieden.

+ Vielseitiges Frühstück. Die Möglichkeit, in der Gemeinschaftsküche zuzubereiten ist prima, bringt ein bisschen Hostelcharakter. Die Lage ist grandios.

− Leider hatten wir das Zimmer an der Eingangstür. Dadurch ist es etwas unruhiger gewesen. Das Haus ist insgesamt sehr hellhörig. Die Anfahrt ist mit einem größeren Auto schwierig.

+ Posto meraviglioso, struttura molto bella, colazione ottima.

− Faceva davvero molto molto caldo nella stanza...quindi difficile dormire bene. Mancando scuri o tende alle 6.30 c'era luce forte. Comunque esperienza ottima a parte questi due aspetti.

Great stay in charming house by the ocean with amazing breakfast

+ The location was great, with beautiful view of the ocean och close to the natural pools and walking distance to Madalena city center. It was nice and clean and amazing breakfast (simple but with nice fresh bread, FRESH FRUIT, yoghurt, eggs, coffee and juice).

− It would have been nice with AC in the room but it was very hot weather when we were there (30+ degrees) and still surprisingly cool in the room only from opening the windows.

− Kupiłam pobyt w tym obiekcie na 3 noce. Pisałam do właściciela obiektu, ale nikt nie odpowiadał na moje wiadomości. Po kilku dniach, po interwencji Booking.com otrzymałam odpowiedź w formie: „piszesz do mnie po polsku a ja polskiego nie znam więc nie muszę odpisywać”. 🤣 Jeżeli wynajmujesz zagranicznym turystom obiekt to, przez grzeczność, możesz (za darmo) wrzucić tekst do Tłumacza Google i chociaż stworzyć pozory że Klient, który płaci za twoje usługi, jest dla Ciebie ważny. Wynajmującego i jego obsługę mogę ocenić znacznie poniżej 1

− Leider sind sie Zimmer hellhörig und es gibt nichts um es dunkel zu machen. Wir waren nur eine Nacht da, das war ok

Simple et très agréable

+ Hotel récent, ambiance détendue, on se sent comme à la maison.

+ The guesthous has a great athmosphere. The communal area is for everyone and a great place to trade experiences and talk to the staff. The rooms are great, the kids loved their "balcony" (even though it can get quite warm at night) one of our highlights was clearly the staff. we had some administrative issue to resolve , and they were extremely helpful. Breno in particular was really supportive in resolving our issues. Thanks to the entire team of Casa do Mar for your work and being such lovely hosts on Pico

− The walls are thin and neighbors can be heard - but given that the house has the great flair of a Swiss mountain hut anyway, this is not unexpected.

+ Die Lage war perfekt mit Aussicht aufs Meer. Ein Naturpool zum Baden war in Gehdistanz, wie auch der Hafen mit Lokalen. Besonders schön war es, Abends auf der Terrasse oder am Balkon zu sitzen und auf die Lichter der Nachbarinsel Horta zu sehen. Der Gymnastikraum war gut ausgestattet und mit fantastischer Aussicht. Eine Unterkunft zum Wohlfühlen!

Seafront, amazing staff

+ The location is unbelievable just in grin of the sea with amazing feeling and views. On the back also great views of Pico. Hard to compete with that but Mona, who prepared the breakfast and took care of all the guests is simply amazing. She is so thoughtful and helpful, it makes the stay thousand times better. Lovely home, the owners made it with lots of intelligence and love. The location is also minutes from the port and downtown and excellent breakfast.

+ Incredible location. Right next to swimming area. Nice outdoor space to eat overlooking the water. Historic building, only privately owned former boat house. Communal kitchen provided options beyond restaurants in town. Well stocked with coffee and tea. Free laundry service was perfect in the middle of long journey through Azores. Short walk to airport, but, David, the owner was kind enough to give us a ride to the airport as it was raining.

+ Nice location and very friendly staff

− We paid for a bedroom with terrace and sea view and got a back facing room (no view, no terrace). Towels are quite small and pillows are not comfortable. Television is in common room but doesn’t work (which is fine but no one said so so we wasted half an hour fiddling with it).

Ritengo di essermi già spiegato alla voce "cosa ti è piaciuto"

+ Noi eravamo già stati lo scorso anno qualche notte a Casa do Mar, e siamo voluti tornare a Pico per l'isola in quanto tale, certo. Ma molto del nostro desiderio di tornare era legato a questa casa meravigliosa, che è una forma di bellezza che non ha bisogno del lusso per essere tale. Volevamo godercela, e così è stato in pieno. La позizione di fronte al mare, con "A montanha" dietro, il profumo del legno, la disponibilità della sala e di una cucina molto ben fornita, la luce che entra dalle finestre. Si percepisce che chi gestisce la quotidianità, e probabilmente anche chi è proprietario, ha viaggiato edha saputo mettersi nei panni di chi viaggia, ha capito cosa serve mettere a disпозizione e che atteggiamento avere. L'ultimo giorno ho chiesto se potevamo lasciare i bagagli perchè avevamo il volo al pomeriggio. Mi è stato risпозto che potevamo farlo naturalmente, che avremmo potuto usare la sala, la cucina e se ne avessimo avuto bisogno avremmo potuto usare anche la doccia della sala yoga. Io e mia moglie abbiamo avuto la fortuna di viaggiare molto. Posti così non so se ne abbiamo visti. Potessi dare 11 punti su 10 lo farei.

+ Em frente do mar. Ilusão de perdido no tempo, mas simultaneamente perto do centro. A aventura para lá chegar.

− Preferíamos lençóis na cama ao invés de mantas.

Sehr cooles Hotel mit einer hammer Aussicht!

+ Die Lage und Aussicht des Hotels, das schön gestaltete Frühstück, der kostenlose Kaffee und die Möglichkeit des early breakfast für Ausflüge.

− Es war alles Recht hellhörig, aber wir sind gut damit klargekommen.

Bon emplacement mais pas reпозant

+ L'emplacement sur le front de mer et proche du centre-ville. Les chats des gérants qui se baladent dans le jardin !

− Les murs ne sont pas insonorisés et suivant les autres personnes, cela peut être très bruyant. Surtout que l'accès à la cuisine est свободен (un couple avait par exemple décidé de manger et faire la vaisselle à minuit...). Il n'y avait aucun volet sur les 2 fenêtres et la porte-fenêtre : réveil naturel à 6h du matin avec le soleil :( Ce n'est pas un hôtel, il ne faut pas s'attendre au ménage chaque jour dans les chambres.

Un très bon choix à quelques minutes à pieds de Madalena

+ Emplacement exceptionnel à 15mn à pieds du centre de Madalena. Très bon accueil, et des explications parfaites pour l'arrivée.

Ótima localização

+ Localização incrível, mesmo junto ao mar e com vista para a ilha do Faial e os ilhéus de Madalena. Instalações bem pensadas e mantidas, quartos confortáveis com tudo o que é necessário, bem iluminados e arejados e com vistas deslumbrantes. Pequeno almoço completo e simpatia dos funcionários/donos.

Sweet stay in a great location

+ The setting at the ocean is beautiful. It is just a 10 minute walk into town. Everyone on the staff was friendly and kind. Breakfast was generous.

Home away from home - fantastico

+ This was our fifth accomodation while in the Azores, and it was definitely the best. The location is amazing, feels really remote but actually close to town. The view from our room was right across to Faial, right on the coast. It felt really comfortable and welcoming - a great base. Breakfast was lovely.

+ Die Lage war top. Die Aussicht direkt auf das Meer ist unschlagbar. Das Morgenessen war umfangreich und recht gut. Das Personal war hilfreich und freundlich.

− Das Zimmer wurde während der gesamten 8 Nächte nie gereinigt, und die Badetücher wurden ebenfalls nicht ausgetauscht. Es herrschte eine Art Hüttenfeeling. Nach dem Frühstück musste man sein Geschirr selbst in die Geschirrspülmaschine einräumen. Die Bettdecke und die Kissen waren bereits etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Casa-do-Mar hatte durchaus seinen Charme. Im Preis-Leistungs-Vergleich zu den anderen Unterkünften, in denen wir während unseres Aufenthalts auf den Azoren übernachtet haben, lag Casa-do-Mar jedoch leider deutlich unter dem Durchschnitt.
