Beijing: Imposing China

This trip starts from Beijing, then Xi’an, Chengdu, Three Gorges and Shanghai to explore Great Wall, Terra Cottar Warriors, Pandas, cruising on the Three Gorges of Yangtze River, and Shanghai Bund, which are the imposing sites of China. Itinerary Day 1. Arrival Beijing Arrival in Beijing, you will be transferred to the hotel. Welcome dinner. Overnight in Beijing Regent Hotel or similar Meals: Dinner Day 2. Beijing Visit Tian’anmen Square that is the biggest city square in the word. Then move to Forbideden City that was the home of royal family for Ming and Qing Dynasties. This afternoon visit the stunning Summer Palace where the royal family spent their summer time to escape the heat in the city. Overnight in Beijing Regent Hotel or similar Meals: Breakfast Day 3. Beijing Today take a ride to Mutianyu Great Wall that was a military project fighting against the enemies from Northern China in the ancient time. Overnight in Beijing Regent Hotel or similar Meals: Breakfast Day 4. Beijing to Xi’an Bullet Train Take a bullet train to Xi’an in the morning (approx. 5 hours). Upon arrival, transferred to the hotel. Walking tour to old city wall and Muslim Quarter to visit Grand Mosque. You have opportunity to taste dumpling banquet as optional. Overnight in Xi'an Sofitel Hotel or similar Meals: Breakfast Day 5. Xian Fantastic tour to Terra-cottar warriors in the morning. There are 4 exhibition halls presenting various warriors and horses that were make 2200 years ago. Move to visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda afterwards which was constructed 1500 years ago. Overnight in Xi'an Sofitel Hotel or similar Meals: Breakfast Day 6. Xian to Chengdu Flight Take a flight this morning to Chengdu. Explore the Kuaizhai Alleys, Qingyang Temple in the afternoon. Taste the yummy hot pot for dinner. Overnight in Chengdu Sheraton Hotel or similar Meals: Breakfast and dinner Day 7. Chengdu to Chongqing Express Train Visit Chengdu Panda Base in the morning to view the cute panda. Afterwards move to railway station to catch a bullet train to Chongqing where boarding a luxury boat to start 4-day boat tour on the Yangtze River. Overnight on boat Meals: Breakfast Day 8. On boat Sailing on the boat. Off-shore tour to either Ghost City or Shibao Village. Overnight on boat Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner Day 9. On boat Enjoy the stunning view of the Three Gorges(Qutang Gorge, Wu Gorge and Xiling Gorge) on the sun deck. Tributary excursion either Lesser Three Gorges or Shennong Stream will be included. Overnight on boat Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner Day 10. Yichang to Shanghai Flight Visit the Three Gorges Dam this morning before transferring from the cruise to Yichang airport to catch flight to Shanghai. Upon arrival in Shanghai, transfer to hotel. Overnight in Shanghai Sheraton Hotel or similar Meals: Breakfast Day 11. Shanghai Walking tour start from hotel to Yu Garden, old street, Shanghai Museum, and well-known Bund. Farewell dinner is included to celebrate the completion of the wonderful trip. Overnight in Shanghai Sheraton Hotel or similar Meals: Breakfast and lunch Day 12.
