I think I’ve said it all ~ fantastic!

+ Fantastic! So unexpected ~ truly amazing old home Great location! The only challenge was the owners did not speak English or French. We really enjoyed our two days there ~ a wonderful start for or Camino pilgrimage!

− Maybe have a couple chairs on the roof terrace. Great place for morning coffee or evening wine!

A great Camino stop, in the old town close to many restaurants and bars. Would recommend to everyone

Locatie top, kamer in orde, maar management van de boeking en communicatie hierover niet

+ de locatie en de koele kamer tijdens hele warme dag

− Eigenaar toont verkeerd beeld van geboekte kamer op Booking.com en legt die fout vervolgens bij Booking neer. En er was geen personeel aanwezig om hierover fatsoenlijk te kunnen communiceren (in het Engels), dus we kregen een andere kamer dan geboekt (die verder OK was).

Perfect if you just need a cheap-and-cheerful place to lay your head before taking on the final stages of the Camino

+ Central location right at the beginning of the Sarria - Santiago Camino route. Facilities were basic but functional. Address could be used for luggage transfer.

− The beds were not particularly comfortable, the headrest of one bed was not attached to the bed.

it is a fine room and well worth the price. very helpful at reception in other buiding

+ The reception was across the road in a bar , when we needed assistance they couldnt have been more helpful.

+ We arrived very late, check in was super easy, beds and bedding were the best, we had a fantastic nights sleep and the location is perfect. During booking process, nothing was too much trouble

+ Staff is very helpful with prompt messages. Cesar at Casa Manuel ( across the street) for super helpful in sorting the bag transport. Good location and nice facilities

− Tuve que esperar para la entrega de la habitación

Ce qui devait être une nuit de repos après une longue marche, c’est transformé en une véritable galère.

+ Bon emplacement…

− Au premier abord tout paraissait sans problème. Un orage a éclaté dans la soirée et après avoir pris notre douche, le sèche cheveux semblait ne plus fonctionner. On s’est aperçu autour de minuit que nos téléphones portables ne se rechargeaient pas. En fait l’ensemble des prises de courant n’étaient plus alimentées. J’ai recherché le panneau des disjoncteurs, mais ce dernier était verrouillé. J’ai contacté le propriétaire de ce Rbnb, qui n’a pas daigné solutionner le problème. Résultat, nos téléphones déchargés pour notre départ sur le chemin de Compostel et une fin de nuit blanche. Le propriétaire nous a informé que nous ne serions pas facturé pour cette nuitée et que nous en parlerions le lendemain … on attend toujours sa proposition de remboursement !

Goian

+ Wat een prachtig gebouw. De eigenaar is denk ik een architect/kunstenaar. Prachtige oude stenen muren, antieke meubels, en een heerlijk matras. De kamer waar ik in sliep heet goian en doet zijn naam eer aan. Deze kamer heeft geen keukentje maar als je de trap in de Hal naar boven klimt is daar een magnetron en kookplaatje en een heerlijk dakterras. Wat een fantastische verassing is deze plek!

− A shelf in the shower would have been useful. A kettle would have been nice.

+ Fabulous location right on the Camino Frances

− Not having a personalised check in but notification of what to do was received in plenty of time and was clear so it was easy enough

Aceptable experiencia,

+ La ubicación y la decoración de la habitación.

− El colchón no era cómodo, muy usado. El bar que nos recomendaron para desayunar justo en frente no es bueno y no abrió 7 hs tal lo prometido .

+ 老屋改建後新舊並存頗有趣味，加上當天只有我們入住如同另類包棟。

− 老闆語言不通連各項設備都沒介紹，只關心出入有沒把門關上。房間充滿亷價香精味很可怕，門𥦬打開很久才逐漸消散。浴廁小沒抽風設施。

+ Good and central location

− Hot water only lasted for the first person to shower, after that only cold water even after an hour later. Also room heating was not working very well, spent too much time being cold after a rainy day outside and decided to stay the night elsewhere.

− Sucio, había telarañas en la habitación, mal acondicionado, camas muy incómodas, el colchón se hundía y no por ser viscoelastico, la verdad que deja un poco que desear

+ The stay was absolutely wonderful! Casa Taboada exceeded all my expectations. A perfect blend of comfort and luxury - I would highly recommend this place. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. Exceptional service! They went out of their way to ensure we had a great stay The breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of options to choose from.

Location near Ayuntamiento, Cafes, Camino; Needs TLC updating

+ Nice location. Quiet. Clean.

− The photos of the place, do look better than actuality. The rooms could use a dose of TLC (Tender Loving Care) updates, especially in bathroom (stains, oxidation, dusting, loose faucets)
