+ Excellent value hotel located in a central yet peaceful and quiet part in Lanjaron. I stayed in one of the Double twin bed Rooms, with excellent views of the castle and mountains in the distance, the photos online really are representative. The bedroom, bathroom and balcony were all very spacious. Spotlessly clean, the bed was made and toileteries were replenished on a daily basis. The staff were extremely helpful, friendly and attentive, inspite of my poor grasp of the Spanish language! Would say the only thing lacking was a small Refrigerator, however this is only a minor thing and I managed without it during my stay, particularly with the Pica Pica 24hrs vending machines on the main street in town.
+ El alojamiento muy bien
Lo que no me gusto es que no tiene parkin para el coche ni restaurante para poder hacer al menos el desayuno
+ This is an older but very well kept family owned hotel. It doesn’t have any real amenities to speak of. But it was extremely clean and the staff is very accommodating. This small town has plenty of restaurants and bars. A public pool and other things to do. I highly recommend it.

+ This hotel is well placed among all amenities.
The rooms are comfortable and are a good size.
The hotel is exceptionally clean and the lounge is one of the most comfortable I have ever sat in.
The hotel doesn’t provide food but there are plenty of eating places within walking distance.
The ambience and the pleasant staff are more than happy to make your stay a good experience.
Buen hotel
+ Buena estancia, sólo para dormir, el suelo de la habitación algo desnivelado, pero en general la habitación muy bien, es silencioso y tranquilo, tiene hilo musical y ascensor. Bien la limpieza.
+ Bon pour une nuit

+ Again, we spent a weekend in Lanjarón and enjoyed our stay in this hotel, because it is central, quiet and dog friendly. Our room was very clean and quiet also, staff is very friendly. This hotel does not have any parking space, but this is not a problem, there is always plenty of room on a square nearby.

+ Quiet hotel with friendly welcoming staff. Room was clean, we paid extra for a terrace which had lovely views. The bathroom was good and spacious with plenty of hot water. Parking was fine as we were able to park in the street outside for both nights. The hotel does not offer food but there is plenty of choice in Avenida de la Alpujarra just around the corner. We paid 40e per night which was excellent value. We will return!

+ We were staying in Mojacar but decided to visit Granada and stay overnight. We chose this hotel because it was only 24 km from Granada. We booked on line and when I saw that it was only £30 for the night for 2 of us I wasn't expecting much. How wrong could I be! The hotel is beautiful in a very rustic way. Spotlessley clean. We were shown to our room on the 1st floor . It was large , the bathroom was large. The room had 2 big Windows and the views were amazing. I just could not fault anything and I am very fussy ! The only thing that would make this perfect in every way is, if they provide tea and coffee making facilities as they do not do breakfast. The area of lanjaron is nothing special but I would definitely stay at this hotel again if passing.
8,0AlbertSalichs🇪🇸 España · jul 2018A very good hotel in the bath termal town called Lanjarón
+ The rate quality/price is very good. The room is very big and it has all you need to stay confortable. It is very new and it has rustic furniture. It is located in the center of Lanjarón. The staff of the hotel was very friendly and she said me a very good restaurant, where I could taste some typical dishes of the zone.
A stay at Lanjarón
+ The hotel was well located for visiting Lanjarón. The staff was welcoming and the view out the window was great. All in all highly recommended.

+ Stayed 1 night and paid 32e.
The staff were lovely.
The room is pretty large with a very modern bathroom.
Wifi very strong throughout.
Only criticism is that the room smell could be a bit fresher.
Highly recommend.

Short break
+ I went for a night and everything about the location was perfect. Will be booking to go back in May.I just wish I would have had more time to really search the area, but as I will be going back I will make the time.

Buen hotel
+ La estancia ha estado bien en general, es un hotel viejo pero que está muy bien cuidado e impecable en cuanto a la limpieza. Las camas y almohadas un poco incómodas pero por lo demás muy bien
Del & Lori, Sept 17.
+ Had a lovely three night stay in Hotel Castillo Lanjaron. During which we had a full day in Granada, visiting the Alhambra Palace, Granada being approximately 25 minutes car drive away, although the local bus service is available. The Hotel staff were very helpful and polite. The room was clean, tidy and very comfortable. The town is situated within the area of the Sierra Nevada Nation Park. The views from our balcony were stunning. The Hotel is in a quiet side street off the town centre. Parking is very limited outside the hotel, however free parking can be accessed a few minutes walk away. Breakfast can be provided if required and is very reasonably priced. It is limited to coffee/tea/fruit juice, toast etc but is perfectly acceptable. A small bar is available within the hotel if required. Our stay was in our opinion great value for money and if in the area again we would have no hesitation in staying at these premises.
+ Ubicacion perfecta. Limpio y agradable.
10,0kathyhH1832WL🇬🇧 Reino Unido · En pareja · sep 2017Welcoming Hotel.
+ The hotel is pleasing being off the main street but close enough to walk to the resturants and shops. We found it very clean with good sized rooms and good air conditioning , which we needed ! The staff are very helpful and whilst only a few speak english they kindly tolerated our poor attempts at the spanish language. When we asked about upgrading to a room with a view over the Arab castle they came back the next morning with our new room and what a view that is.Each day the room was cleaned to a high standard. Room only but this is no problem as many eating places near by.
Paradise in Lanjaron

+ When we arrived at the hotel we got a warm welcome from the receptionist who showed us to our room .
The room had great views of the surrounding area and the castle.
It was very clean and tidy with on suite bathroom and flat screen tv.
There is no restaurant but do provide breakfast at a reasonable charge ,coffee ,orange juice, toast.
The hotel is situated in a good place with bars and restaurants within walking distance.
Overall we thought this hotel is really good value for the money and we will certainly return again .

+ We stayed here for 2 nights late in May before the crowds arrive to " take the waters. " I understand it can get very busy. Used as a base to explore The Alpujarras. The hotel is perfectly placed, just a minute walk to the main street where there are plenty of restaurants and shops and bars. The hotel itself does not have a restaurant but they will serve breakfast if you ask. All you will get is coffee and tostada...the usual Spanish way to start the day.If you want a bigger breakfast then the main street has plenty of places to choose from. Our room overlooked the small courtyard. It was clean and served our purposes. Parking was not too much of a problem. On arrival we were lucky to find a space in the street outside. After our first day out in the mountains we were not so lucky but found a space but 2 minutes walk away. What the situation is like in high season I cannot say, but expect it not to be so easy. The price we paid was 33 Euros per night and at this price you cannot really go wrong. I would recommend this hotel for out of season. But if you want a pool at the end of the day then look at Hotel Andalucia. This was only 2 Euros more per night. Or more expensive The Hotel Alcadima at 116 Euros. Overall the area is well worth exploring if you like that sort of scenery and I would recommend reading " South from Granada " by Gerald Brenan before you go.

8,0sharpe27🇬🇧 Reino Unido · En pareja · ene 2017Clean and comfortable
+ We stayed for five nights searching for almond blossom in the region. The Hotel is clean and comfortable and the staff are friendly. We stayed in room 101 which has a balcony and views across to the Castle. This is not a luxury hotel but you are not paying a fortune for the rooms. There isn't a restaurant but the hotel next door serves food and there is a good cafe for breakfast in the town. Parking can be an issue, although you will find somewhere, and the walk to/from the hotel is going to be uphill in one direction, so it's probably not suitable for disabled travellers on their own. There is a conference room, so it would be ideal for large groups of walkers/photographers.

+ What a surprise, we booked this hotel as a night stop on a tour of Spain. The hotel is a real taste of traditional Spain. The rooms are smart and modern and our room had views of the mountains and a small castle. The town is a spa town and is a real delight with smart hotels and charming eateries. We enjoyed an evening snack with water, coffee and dessert for eleven euros and our dog was welcomed as well.
Buena estancia
+ Lo recomiendo buen hotel, limpio y bien situado................................
Value for money.
+ Very good value for money, I think it was 23 euro. Its realy spotlesly clean and the room has a balcony, so its a smoker friendly hotel. Its abouth 200 meters from the bus stop, so great if you do not have a car. At this price the rooms are uncomonly fresh and not ancient looking, the furnishings are not brand new, but their of light coloured wood and not the ancient looking dark wood, so it apears a bit newer. There are lots of restaurants close by.
8,0NML28LondonEn pareja · sep 2016A few days in the Alpujarras
+ We stayed here after our few days in the Sierra Nevada. It is a small, hotel, decorated in the 60s style of Spain. (in fact I don't think it has changed since the 1960s)So all those who would like to live retro, this is the place.
It is very clean. the bedroom was large with a large en-suite bathroom, all decorated in the 1960s Spanish style All very clean. Eveyrbody was very friendly, with only Spanish spoken, and why not? we are in Spain,
We didn't realise that a small breakfast could be had until the second day as it didn't seem to be advertised. Just coffee, tea, juice and tostado with butter and jam, although I think cheese was also offered. This is fine as I never eat these great big breakfasts offered by the bigger hotels.
The hotel is situated in a side road off the main road of Lanjaron, so very close to all the amenities of this small town, with lots of cafes and restaurants.
My only niggle was the car park, which entailed hikes up and down a fairly steep hill.
But hey, this was a very cheap hotel, so really no grumbles. Oh, and those with dogs can stay we gathered.

Ingen pool. Ingen komfort på værelset.
