Holiday from hell

− We arrived at the apartment at around 2:00 a.m. after a long journey, having been given clear instructions on how to access the key safe. Unfortunately, when we opened it, there was no key inside. After waking a local friend to help us check we had the correct key safe, we discovered the key was still missing. We then contacted the emergency number, but the key holder's phone was switched off. At 2:00 a.m. we were left with nowhere to stay. My daughter is neurodivergent, and the whole situation caused her a great deal of distress. The only suggestions offered were to find a hotel for under €400 or stay with friends, neither of which was realistic in the middle of the night. Eventually, another guest staying on the same complex was contacted and it turned out they had been given two sets of keys by mistake. The cleaner had simply put our keys in the wrong key safe. This was an avoidable error that caused unnecessary stress. Unfortunately, the problems didn't end there. During our stay, the front door was hanging off its hinges and was never repaired. Being on the ground floor with groups of people and teenagers outside at all hours made my daughter feel unsafe, and she barely slept for the rest of the holiday. There was also dog mess outside the apartment steps that was never cleaned up. The apartment itself was clean and well presented, which is why I've given some credit. However, the key collection error, poor handling of the situation, lack of urgency, and unresolved security issue completely overshadowed our stay. We were told on arrival that we would be compensated for what had happened, but because we eventually managed to get into the apartment, nothing further seems to have been done.

+ Aunque el edificio parece en mal estado y un poco antiguo, el apartamento está entero reformado, muy limpio y acogedor. Wohnzimmer-cocina con todo lo necesario, dos Zimmer y un baño. Han tenido el detalle de dejarnos en aire acondicionado puesto para que cuando llegásemos estuviera fresquito, y aunque no hay aire en la Zimmer cada una tiene un ventilador que es más que suficiente.

− Lo que menos me gustó fue que había poca luz en la cocina, el patio interior un poco dejado por lo que no lo hace útil y los colchones piden cambio no son muy cómodos y se sienten muy usados algo hundidos.

+ La atención del personal

− Reinigung excasa, había alguna cucaracha aunq en los enchufes había repelentes, los rollos de papel higiénico sucios

Se puede mejorar

+ Fácil aparcamiento y muy buenas vistas, cocina amplia y bien equipada, baño aceptable

− Reinigung muy deficiente, sofá manchado, lavadora sucia y descuidada, colchón y almohada incómodos sin mínima calidad, algunos insectos como cucarachas y arañas, el pasillo hasta llegar al apartamento muy sucio con bastante tiempo sin barrer

A comfortable stay for a good night's sleep.

+ The apartment was very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. Parking on-site is convenient and there is plenty available. There are also a lot of good restaurants in the area.

+ Todo muy limpio, nuevo y acogedor. Cocina completa. Lage un poco lejos, pero con coche no es problema.

− Outside the apartment, the carpark area Needs attention, rubbish left everywhere People in cars parking up to admire the veiw and leaving rubbish Shame really could be a really nice !! But inside the apartment was lovely

Not for us sorry

+ They obviously tried to make the apartment look modern but to charge 60 euro cleaning fee when the place needed a good clean before we got there.

− The bathroom drains smelt so bad I was nearly physically sick. Aircon - hardly did anything. Overall needed a good clean.

+ Very clean with a well equipped kitchen. Wonderful views.

− Not enough wardrobe space. Patio area was very dirty. Patio chairs were very uncomfortable.

− I didn't like the two dead cockroach's I found...cleaner must of missed them..or they came later...and fridge smelt awful...and I had to clean bits of food out of bottom of it...

+ The property was immaculate, beds were super comfy. We only stayed 1 night but wish we were there longer. Everything you could say possibly need. Lovely staff to show us to the property. The views are incredible from up there.

− The courtyard could do with a bit of a sweep/clean. We don’t smoke so didn’t use it anyway but could be lovely out there.

+ Comfortable, clean and spacious. Incredible view. Though a long way from the centre of town, it had a bar next door that provided good quality coffee and food. Owner was very helpful and attentive. A curtain detached itself from the ceiling and it was reattached within a few hours

+ Spotlessly clean with everything we needed for an overnight stay. Great communication from the host who was very friendly and helpful.

+ Ricardo was very helpful. Harrys bar and Divitos pizza were very good with reasonable prices good service and good food and only a max 5 minute walk to either. Excellent location a 5 min drive to the golf course a 20 minute walk to the towns main street full of bars and Restaurants.

− The outside of the apartments is very off putting , A bit dark and unloved, Dont let this put you off . A few young people are hanging around at night though they were gone by 10 and No trouble. They should be ashamed of the litter they leave laying around though.

Comfortable, and an owner who wants to make sure their guests are happy.

+ The flat was well looked after and clean. The view from the car park was exceptional. Everything we needed was available to us towels, kitchen equipment, WIFI etc. The owner kept in touch with us during our stay to make sure everything was ok with us and the flat met our needs.

− Fortunately we had a car to travel and see other locations. being at the top of the hill if you don't have transport you are isolated, as there are no buses and Taxi's are limited. External space is an internal courtyard with no views. An external balcony overlooking the tremendous views would be priceless.
