Luarca was lovely and this apartment was good value for 3 people.

+ Really nice location in an old building overlooking the river with various cafes and restaurants an easy couple of minutes walk away. Apartment is a quite basic conversion but is clean and functional and had everything we needed.

− We struggled initially to get into the building and then to get the keys out of the right locker to get into the flat, but maybe this was our fault as we subsequently realised that the host had sent a photo with the correct lock box circled.

+ El apartamento, aunque se encuentra en un edificio antiguo, está totalmente reformado (nuevo) Es muy espacioso, cómodo y está localizado en el centro del casco historico, junto al río. Es silencioso y está decorado con mucho gusto. Totalmente recomendable. Un 10

− Casualidad de las casualidades había programado un concierto en la plaza y tuvimos música hasta altas horas de la noche, pero esto, nada tiene que ver con el Unterkunft.

+ La ubicación es inmejorable, la calidad de las almohadas y las Betten. Cocina muy bien equipada.

− En verano es complicado conseguir aparcamiento en el pueblo

+ La casa es muy espaciosa y no le falta detalle. Equipada con todo lo necesario (excepto secador de pelo). Además, las vistas son muy chulas, está muy bien ubicado y es muy tranquilo. Dormimos genial porque no se oye ni un ruido!! María, un encanto. Muy pendiente de todo y nos lo explicó a la perfección. Esperamos volver.

− Very poor facilities. No Wi-Fi- to be fair this was advertised but I missed it. I’ve never stayed in a property at this price point without out! But even without that, the kitchen was missing equipment to make a basic meal- no chopping board/ cheese grater/ bottle opener. No draining board for washing dishes. No hairdryer!!! A lot of the crockery chipped. One plate broken completely in half and glued back together. Although the place has been cleaned, the furniture is old, worn and grubby. Stained toilet seat. Dirty shower curtain. Towels old and poor quality. We attempted to cook a simple meal on the first night and something fused so we had no electricity to the flat. It was sorted quickly thankfully. And luckily the guy who came showed us where the fuse box was, as it fused a further 4 times in the time it took to make a bowl of pasta. Not a relaxing holiday stop.
