Bien mais une chambre inutisable !

+ L’emplacement. Le service a réagit promptement pour les petits problèmes. (Pour la moisissure, ce n’était pas leur ressort car structurelle )

− Chambre du rez INUTILISABLE du fait de l’air malsain du à la moisissure du mur. Celle-ci était ancienne parce due à un dégât que l’ont voit du chemin extérieur arrière. Deux enfants ont dormi dans un lit double du premier étage. Donc avons donc réclamé et nous attendons. De plus nous pensions venir à 5.

Great Location

+ The location and views were great. 20 minute walk to Marina Rubicon. Pool was heated. Staff were efficient and only a phone call away to resolve a couple of minor queries we had. Would recommend!

− A couple of minor things, no teaspoons, only 2 cushions for 4 sun loungers, no cushions on the furniture on the balcony as shown in the photos. Instructions on how to use the safe would have been appreciated to save a phone call.

The worst ever

+ The whole villa experience was awful, the metal gate at the entrance, was broken , had to climb over the wall the villa had a major leak prior to us going the villa was damp . Cold 🥶 doors had swollen and could not be opened or closed properly electric lighting was FLICKERING, shower water pressure and taps was inadequate and needed attention from a plumber dated tired not enough cutlery or glasses , no dryer to help dry the damp bedding

− The out door furniture was damaged and disgusting and could not be sat on same as the sun besds damaged and dangerous bedding downstairs had not been changed and had URINE stains booking.com were awful at dealing with the entire situation and insisted I resolve it with the absent owner who lived in Spain , a maintenance visited 72 hours after our start of our holiday we were so disappointed and dissatisfied the damp was effecting our health, I and my elderly family moved out in to two separate hotel s as that was the only available accommodation . Worst villa and experience with Booking.com . Never again .

− It's sooooo lonely 🙁 it's base at the very bottom of a hill nothing around for children at all I had a 14 year old and 5 year old the place was dead we payed the owner for the pool to be heated up so the children can have some kind of Fun ....its still Wasing Hot after 4 days I ask for my money back and I'm still waiting for reply from them ..

− No cerraba ninguna puerta de la casa( incluidas las de los 3 baños de la casa, todas las habitaciones y la de la entrada principal)...todas las puertas estaban hinchadas...muy incómodo la convivencia 7 personas sin intimidad. Tampoco había un ajuar mínimo en la cocina...por ejemplo, teníamos 3 vasos para 7 personas!!

− Where can I start ..firstly the requested heated pool did not work for first few days. Don't expect towel or bedding change..weird request Bloody sanitary pad was under mattress of my sunbed and my 3 year old picked it up!! When reported you said will send maintenance next day, what's the point ???? Of course I binned it. It is hazardous waste and it is completely unacceptable. Mattress inaster bedroom is like hammock..was reported by numerous customers before bit clearly not done anything No basic facilities like tea, sugar, salt ..sorry for over 1k you'd think there would be something The pool was Soo dirty ..algie growing ..couldn't keep anything in water One big paella frying pan - great facilities No ac upstairs - fan upstairs was sooo noisy that couldn't sleep We had a flood ( not our fault) the they isolated one toilet which was out of order whole holiday - no apology Outside garden furniture is Soo dirty ..cushions just turn around.

Great house, great set up, great location but needs AC upstairs and some running repairs.

+ We love the location and the house was very spacious, pool and terrace were great.Great place for a family holiday. We had a great holiday and really enjoyed the house but our comments below in the "didnt like " section are a fair review.

− No AC upstairs, made no sense to us cause AC was downstairs. Bedrooms need AC. Also some maintenance needed on doors in general. Pool/ terrace door was faulty, downstairs toilet door was rubbing off floor so couldnt open/ close properly and side entrance door handle fell off.

Very quiet and great location holiday house

+ Communication was very quick - any questions or help we needed they were very quick to respond and help us. We asked for a later check out time and they were happy to accommodate us with that 😄 Lovely location, good facilities and a nice quiet area - would highly recommend.

− There did seem to be an exceptional amount of flies around the house but not sure if this was to do with weather, drains or time of year. There was a few mobile homes/camper vans parked in the area close to the house so whether they were emptying waste onto the nearby ground which created the flies we're not sure.

+ Location was great, nice and quiet, Clive to shops and restaurants, private pool was great.

+ Location Sunbeds.

− The keycode given didn't work. Once in the villa, all doors and shutters were not lockable. Mattresses in 2 rooms need upgrade and very uncomfortable. The pool was cold despite paying for heating. The wifi did not work in any of the bedrooms. There was zero information at all in the villa. No cleaning during 9 days stay only towel change.

Lovely guest and great place to stay

Smell of sewer gases very high concentration and dangerous to our health

+ When we had landed, we still had not received our text for the Code pad to excess the keys - that was at 12.00 midnight. Our Taxi driver had to call and there were a lot of words to relation to accessing this code. which was 2500 When we did arrive at the property the code was wrong ... we noticed the number of the property was 29.... so we used the code 2900 and gained entry to the villa... at this point it was 1.30am .... Thank god to a fantastic taxi driver for all his help We received a text the next morning at 7.05am asking did we manage to get in....telling us he had felt asleep

− Sewage smell up stairs coming from the bathroom and sinks and bath which at night was very over powering and both of us had headaches and we phoned and texted in relation to this. For health and safety and the danger of the sewer gas we had no choice but to find alternative accommodation.

Could have been better.

+ The location of the villa is perfect, right next to the sea, 10 minute walk to the marina and Rubicon centre and Playa Blanca itself. The view is amazing, great balcony off the main bedroom looking out at the mountains and the sea, absolutely stunning. The layout of the villa was good and the kitchen was a good size. The pool guy came twice during our week stay, and we got fresh towels after a few days. When we reported a problem with the wifi, it was fixed within a few hours.

− The property was dated and therefore some issues meant our stay wasn't as we'd hoped. Firstly the en-suite was unusable for the whole of our stay as the toilet was broke and the shower wasn't getting any hot water. Some of the doors and shutters to the property didn't lock. The washing machine was so old that when I plugged it in it kept tripping the electrics so we couldn't use it (rather annoying when only packed a few days worth of clothes thinking I'd be able to wash them). One of the things that we wanted in the property was heated pool with us visiting in December, we paid the €10 per day rate to heat the pool, however we arrived on Saturday and it was only just warm enough to use by Tuesday.

Generally very good,could have been great🙂🙂

+ Good layout,nice to have different areas to sunbathe and eat. Response from hosts to issues,plus unexpected laundry change mid holiday.

− Although issues were mostly sorted quickly the main bathroom wasn't fully usable all holiday. Some issues should have been fixed before renting like not being able to lock the door from inside and gate difficult to open (George was great at fixing)

+ Very close to a beach. Nice and clean pool.

− * Dishwasher - rust inside, didn't wash. * Washing machine - rusty, very old. Had to disconnect the boiler to plug the washing machine in, the other socket was wobbly and didn't want to risk an electric shock (see photos). * WiFi only downstairs - we couldn't use the internet in the upstairs bedrooms * A/C - only in the kitchen!!! it was scorching in the bedrooms

Brilliant family holiday and would come back!!

+ I liked the location and the cleanliness of the house and pool. There was plenty of room in the house, everything we expected. Did not see one cockroach for the entire 12 days we stayed here. There was also a maid cleaning service that came once and a pool cleaning service that came twice during our stay. Communication was good with the house management. Nice view over the balcony in the main bedroom out over the mountain and the sea. The kids had a great time, the kitchen was well equipped and lots of towels, good heat and pressure from the showers etc. No smells and dirt at all and there is a place for the garbage and recycling a short walk away. There is a SuperDino supermarket and an Overseas (UK food) supermarket a short walk away. Also people leave the electric scooters around so you can download the apps (BIRD and SuperPedestrian) and use those to get around. Bus stop a short walk away. Short walk to the El Pueblo CC for a quiet drink - My kids loved Paulo's bar, we liked the Carpe Diem tapas restaurant. You are also a short walk on the coastal path to the Marina, which is a nice upmarket area of bars restaurants, ice cream parlours and the Rubicon shopping centre. Overall - I would definitely stay here again and we had a lovely family holiday.

− We had an issue on the first day with the Air conditioning leaking (I am talking a flood downstairs, not just a few drops!) - we reported this and they came the next day to fix it. Worth knowing there is only Air Conditioning downstairs - we hired a Air Conditioning unit from a local company for the kids bedroom upstairs as we were in a heatwave period. Once the weather cooled a little and the wind came back we opened all the windows and it was fine. Single room downstairs was very cool because of the downstairs A/C. Nothing to do with this house at all but occasionally there was a bit of noise from the hotels nearby - not every night and it usually stopped at about 10pm (only as loud as the sea & wind). We didn't mind actually, it was nice to sit on the balcony in the evening and listen to the sounds of the music and the sea, once the kids have gone to bed. This is being really picky to be honest - if this was the winter, spring or Autumn, the A/C would not be an issue, we are looking to book this place again for next year sometime.

Comfortable stay in a home away from home.

+ We liked that it was in a quieter area of Playa Blanca, but not too far from the Marina. Having our own pool for us and the kids to play in was lovely and the beach was a minutes walk away.

− The bed was a bit firm but everyone has different likes but no faults of the Villa itself.

Lovely little villa in good location, with great views.

+ This villa is a great size and good location, quiet area with a few bars and restaurants across in los coloradas area. Supermarket is two roads away there is a SuperDino and the overseas supermarket (Iceland/Waitrose) but we mainly got everything we needed in the Superdino. The bedrooms are of a nice size, main bedroom has ensuite, the mattress has seen a few days and very springy so if your partner moves you wont get much sleep. Unfortunately we experienced a lot of noise in our stay firstly due a pool pump in the villa behind gurgling from 2.30am for 5 hours which we managed to get resolved. Also people in no.27 partying a few nights till 3am, the other issue if when its very windy the shutters even when locked do rattle a lot. Kitchen has what you need, oven takes a while to heat up. Used Washing machine but wouldn't go into a spin not sure if I used it properly so had to wring out the clothes. The external furniture is tatty from being left in the elements which is a shame but doesnt affect your stay. And was no pool net so had to borrow neighbouring properties. Pool cleaner guy came once but with the winds and tree directly above pool it gets dirty daily. Its about a 15-20 min walk to the Marina some lovely restaurants and bars, we recommend the OASIS Marina bay for a cocktail, 3 euros in a taxi if you dont want to walk or even get on one of the electric scooters. We didnt try walking into Playa Blanca but a cab is 5 euros. Recommend the Puerto Blanca Grill, big menu and also if you have a birthday let them know they make it a little special, also just up from there is Asiatico if you want some flavoursome Chinese food and big portions. We walked over to Playa Mujeres, if you are feeling adventurous they you can walk along the pathway directly opposite the villa up to the rocks and climb over, walkers have made trails over to the beach. Could do with a some information in the villa re where bins are, general info etc.

− Tatty external furniture (Broken furniture I have reported) Need new mattresses Needs Pool net Patio doors don't lock so well, (again reported) Safe was locked and we couldn't use it, maintenance never came to fix that. Parking outside used by Campervans spoils view and a few with dogs that were noisy. Lack of sleep from bad mattress and external noise.

Perfect villa for a family visit, great location and well equipped.

+ The location is excellent near to Playa de Papagayo beach which is beautiful, local bars, shops and restaurants. The villa itself is ideal and has everything you need including a pool, 3 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms, in a nutshell it is ideal for a family wanting to be close to everything but also in a quieter location. The centre of Playa Blanca and the main marina is still only a few minutes away in a taxi or 25-30 minutes stroll along the coast.

− There were no major problems but a few things that could help make the visitors experience better.. 1) A more extenstive information pack for new arrivals. 2) A 2nd set of keys. 3) New mattress in the master bedroom.

Superb

great location and view but needs updating

+ the view and the location is wonderful, the bedrooms are all of a good size and loved the balcony

− it’s very tired, was so disappointed when I first arrived but the view and location helped make up for some of the properties downfalls

Christmas holiday

+ Location was perfect for us. Close shops and nice walk into the marina. Would return again.

− Pool wasn't heated for the first part of the holiday but was resolved by the owner and maintenance team. Villa is a little dated but we expected that.

lovely relaxing stay

+ different seating areas- gorgeous big master suite with large balcony great for the evening. lovely quiet area really close to beach and coastal pathway to the marina. close to supermarkets Iceland!! (who knew) . Antonio’s bar handy for drinks and light bites

Beautiful apartment in a great location. Did not want to leave.

+ This is a beautiful apartment. Lovely Sea views, across the road from the beach. The apartment is high spec and beautifully kept. It is spacious and airy and the pool is fantastic. We did not want to leave and wished we could of stayed longer.

− Nothing really but maybe a little bit more info and instructions from the owner would of been helpful. Maybe a manual with the WiFi code etc..could of been a nice touch.

a great holiday for a family of 6

+ for our family of 6 it met all of our needs. the pool was brilliant, although it looks small it was just the job for a dip and for fun. the downstairs bedroom was a single bed with a pull out underneath, although surprised at first it worked fine for our 17 yr old and 13 yr old girls. upstairs was ace, big rooms big bathrooms and big balconies. air con did the job for downstairs. location was great for us a 20min walk to rubicon marina with parking outside the property.

− although clean and tidy, it could do with a bit TLC but absolutely fine for our needs and great value for money.
