+ Next to the beach can’t fault this hotel rooms tidy. All the staff are so helpful. Foods fantastic great value for money will be back.

+ A localização do hotel, a limpeza, a variedade da comida, o cheers o' clock ! Entre as 16:45 e as 17:30 as bebidas do bar eram a duplicar (duas pelo preço de uma)

− Devido à tempestade em Salou dia 24 de Agosto, os elevadores avariaram e tinhamos de subir pelas escadas para o quarto. O mini frigorifico existente no quarto é fraco e refresca pouco.

Great, family hotel

+ Location: Brilliant. Close to water park and theme park. 2 minutes from many lovely beaches. Sandy. Great beach bars and restaurants near by. This is very much the family area of Salou. Atmosphere. Fun, positive, friendly and helpful staff. I like the fact they they try to personally remember your table and accompanying drinks preferences. Nice touch. Food. For a three start hotel, the choice and quality of food is great and don't listen to anyone who says otherwise. Well cooked and very healthy food with meat and vegetarian options. Family. Cool Entertainment every night and a great little play area for kids and our primary school age kids made and played with many friends each day.

+ Il meglio de este hotel es el personal. Recepción, limpieza, animación y especialmente el personal del comedor, tod@s muy amables, de 10. Las camas son cómodas, el hotel está cerca de la playa (aunque el acceso es con escaleras y cuestas, que se complica si vas con niños y cargada con los chismes playeros). La comida del buffet está bien, aunque, en general, poco variada.

− La limpieza diaria de la habitación estuvo bien, pero el giorno que entramos nos encontramos el baño bastante sucio ( como si no lo hubieran hecho), pero avisamos en recepción y rápidamente nos solucionaron el problema. La ducha apenas tiene presión y del WC emanaba un olor continuo bastante desagradable. Por otro lado, la animación del hotel es escasa a lo largo del giorno, no hay actividades ni opciones excepto por la noche.

Good clean hotel

+ Nice clean hotel. Food not so good, very bland and not a great choice. It's on a hill so be warned. Bus into town or Portaventura leaves from just down the street, was only 8 euro for a family of 4. We took a taxi back from the park and it was just 12 euro. Salou has so much to see and do. Will be back but because of the food just not to this hotel unfortunately

Will be staying again when come to Salou the next time, but maybe not August just because of the air con.

+ Staff were friendly and helpful, nothing was a bother. Great facilities and good entertainment for kids and adults. Great view from the room and quiet for families. Good that we were able to use the pool for swimming, the luggage storage, and shower on the day of checkout, since our flight was late at night.

− The only thing was that the room gets warm at night, the air con could be cooler for August. It was difficult to get to sleep, especially for the kids on the first two nights, they didn’t sleep well. I did check the temperature on the controller, it was showing 15 degrees celsius, but it certainly wasn’t.

+ We do like our stay in this hotel. Staff, facilities, cleanliness, comfort and location were perfect. In addition, Hotel opened the highest terrase for all guests to view the total Solar eclipse - this was the best decision.

posizione ottima e bella camera, ma ho dovuto chiedere 3 volte per un servizio (il frigo) previsto

+ posizione ottima, a pochi minuti a piedi dalle spiagge, parking riservato molto comodo

− se il frigorifero è un servizio presente nella camera non si dovrebbe dover chiedere 3 volte in Reception affinché venga reso utilizzabile (era chiuso a chiave), dovrebbe essere già disponibile quando si entra in camera. Invece l'impressione è che fosse quasi che mi stesso facendo un favore e non prioritario (anche un'altra persona era in attesa che fosse "sbloccato" il frigo in camera): al di là che io avessi delle medicine che necessitavano di un frigo (che è stato il motivo per cui ho scelto questo hotel tra gli altri disponibili) non ho apprezzato questo atteggiamento. Per il resto la camera è bella così come il terrazzino vista mare nonché il bagno, ma non mi sono sentito un ospite.

Fantastic holiday.Staff that go above and beyond.

+ Absolutely fantastic holiday. Was sad to leave after a 10 day family holiday. Already booked again for next year. Staff are absolutely amazing all round. My son wouldn’t eat anything the first few days down to travel and the heat etc and Alex the chef was absolutely amazing and allowed us to go collect food for my son to eat later upstairs. Alex actually made our holiday to be honest. Nothing was ever too much trouble and we can’t wait to see him again next year. Entertainment every night bingo first then kids mini disco at 9:30pm then a show every night at 10pm from Disney to acrobats to music tribute shows, there was always something on and daily activities if you wanted to take part. No problems with queuing for sun beds etc more than enough for everyone so regardless of what time we wanted to sunbathe for a while there were plenty of empty beds at both the pools. Lots of supermarkets bars and restaurants right across the street and the beach is just round the corner. We go to salou every year so have stayed in lots of hotels. This is the first one I have ever rebooked straight away because it’s ideal for our yearly summer holiday. Overall couldn’t fault this hotel at all.

Swerve this one

+ Just got back from a week at Spiaggia Park, so here’s an honest review for anyone thinking of booking. We had a corner room (by pure luck), which was a good size with lovely views. Our friends had a middle room and theirs was tiny and cramped. The air‑con barely works, so expect very sweaty nights and not much sleep. Rooms are clean though, and the hotel itself is well looked after. Now the pool… if you’re excited to jump straight in with the kids, don’t. The resident lifeguard is honestly awful. No jumping allowed, even though the pool is deep enough. No inflatables at all, no balls, nothing fun - get in and get out. You can’t even sit at the edge with a drink while the kids bob about — you get told off instantly. The lifeguard single‑handedly ruined a lot of people’s holidays. Food-wise, we paid half board and only ate there twice. It’s not geared towards Brits at all — very international, mainly Spanish and French. The dining hall is nowhere near big enough for August. Expect 20‑minute queues just to get a table for breakfast and again for dinner. It’s rammed, people pushing past each other, and overall not enjoyable. Staff are lovely and work extremely hard, but the setup is just not good. The snack bar food during the day is actually decent though. Prices are what you would expect 12 euro for a pizza 4.50 for a pint 4 for a slushy etc not extortionate. Location is great for the strip and beach, but be prepared for a hill. Also, the fridge in the room is €25 and barely gets cold — plus it’s tiny. Animacion team (kids entertainment) were non existent maybe there for 1 hour a day, didnt see them most days. We still made the best of it, ate out, and spent most of our time at the beach, so we had a great holiday overall. But this review is purely about the hotel. We stayed at Hotel Belvedere in Salou in May and that was miles better for a similar price. If you’re British, I’d swerve this one. A few other Brit families were there and we all felt the same.
