Ammare rooms

− Camera abbastanza pulita, ma davvero piccolissima (standard). Inoltre anche buia, dato che la finestra da sul cortile di ingresso della struttura ed è quindi impossibile aprirla o semplicemente aprire la tenda se si vuole mantenere un minimo di privacy. Riguardo agli spazi comuni, carino il cortile e tavoli fuori ma decisamente trasandata la cucina comune e il locale doccia esterno. Roberta è stata molto disponibile, ma di fatto non c’è un presenza fisica in struttura, per cui lo staff non è valutabile in quanto inesistente. In cucina e in camera sono disponibili caffè, biscotti e merende confezionate ma non c’è colazione. Questo aspetto, insieme alla mancanza di un parcheggio (c’è posto in strada se si ha fortuna) incide in modo importante nella valutazione. Nel complesso la struttura è comoda se si vuole avere una camera a due passi dal mare e non si ha esigenza di spostare la macchina. Per il resto, per il costo consiglierei un B&B che davvero offra colazione se non addirittura un hotel.

Super location right across the beach.

+ Excellent location - right across the road from the beach and several great restaurants. Parking was easy and free. Communication from our host was excellent - prompt and informative.

− On the list of facilities available was a washing machine - on inquiry to use there was a cost to this of €20! This needs to be clearly stated.

− Comme dans plusieurs climats tropicaux, il y avait malheureusement des fourmis à l'intérieur surtout près de la nourriture

C'est un bel établissement à proximité de la plage et de restaurants.

+ L'emplacement, le confort, la propreté et la dimension de l'appartement situé dans un immeuble récent sont un atout pour cet établissement.

− Un accueil par une personne sur place le premier jour serait appréciable. En outre, il n'est pas forcément facile de trouver une place de parking à proximité.

AMMARE ROOMS est un établissement TRES qualitatif à tout point de vue.

+ Nous avions réservé les deux chambres du rez-de-chaussée avec petit jardin et Jacuzzi. Nous n'avons pas vu Roberta mais elle a été présente et réactive à chacune de nos demandes, très gentille. Les lieux étaient propres, confortables, et charmants. Les portes fenêtres fermées, pas de bruit et avec la climatisation c'est parfait. Il n'y a qu'à traverser la route pour une jolie plage de sable fin communale ou privée et la mer. A l'arrière des chambres il y a une cuisine et une grande cours intérieure ombragée avec tables et chaises. Pas besoin de clés, un code d'entrée suffit, ce qui est bien pratique pour que chacun soit libero et indépendant. Nous reviendrons sans aucune hésitation.

− Une petite déception pour le parking. Il n'y a pas vraiment de place réservée et en saison aux heures de fréquentation de la plage les deux roues et voitures envahissent les lieux. Malgré tout nous n'avons pas trop tourné pour en trouver une ni trop marché pour rentrer.

Locatie prima, vlakbij de vallei van de tempels .

+ De locatie was ideaal. Tegenover een beach bar waar je heerlijk kon verblijven . De snelle reactie van de beheerster .

− De drukke weg die er langs liep, waar je veel geluidsoverlast van had. Wat ik jammer vond was dat het kleine tuintje wat er voorlag niet was bijgehouden . Het onkruid groeide op het pad en tussen het kunstgras . De airco die net echt goed koelde.

+ Gute Lage, nur über eine Strasse, direkt am Meer. Man ist schnell bei der Scala dei Turchi und im Valle dei Templi. Roberta war sehr nett.

Was een fantastisch verblijf

+ Het appartement lag net even buiten het centrum pal aan de overkant van het strand waar een hele leuke beachclub was. De eigenaresse was heel erg behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Ze vroeg steeds of we iets nodig hadden en gaf ons tips over restaurants.

Parfait ! On reviendra sans hésiter.

+ Abbiamo soggiornato presso questo B&B e ci siamo trovati benissimo. La struttura è accogliente e curata nei dettagli, con camere pulite e confortevoli. La posizione è ideale, di fronte alla spiaggia e vicina ai vari locali della zona, ma comunque tranquilla. Un ringraziamento speciale alla proprietaria, sempre gentile e disponibile. Consigliamo vivamente questo posto a chi cerca un soggiorno piacevole e rilassante.

Beautiful Sicilian beach getaway

+ The property was in a great location, right across from the beach and in walking distance of several restaurants, as well as a short drive to the city centre. The beach was also lovely with white sand (no rocks) and beautiful sea. The room was beautifully decorated with modern features and the little extras like packets of Nutella and biscuits was a nice touch. The owner was also friendly and helpful and I would definitely stay here again. I highly recommend this place for a Sicilian beach getaway 😊

Fijn, mooi gezellige kamers aan een mooi strand

+ Prachtige kamer aan zee met een mooi strand. Fijne douche en badkamer. Heel fijn dat je gebruik mag maken van de keuken.

+ Muy acogedora habitación con un pequeño jardín perfecto para tomar algo, leer… El jardín tiene también salida directa a la calle justo delante de la playa. La atención y amabilidad de Roberta inmejorable. A solo 10 min en coche del Valle de los Templos.

+ The hot tub was nice.

− The check in was confusing. No host on site. The air conditioner did not cool the room had to leave the doors open. The restaurant/bar across the street was so loud we could not sleep. They had very loud music and crowd well past 2:00 am. Ants and mosquitoes in room. Our room was supposed to have a sea view. There was no view of the sea or anything. Ground floor rooms. This room was not as represented!

+ The host, Roberta, was great. Breakfast with her homemade banana bread, also great. On the down side, though the room was close to the beach, it didn't have a window that we could open so no view of the sea or the beach.

Great accommodation close to a beach.

+ Very nice accommodation, there's a beach right next to it. We had an excellent breakfast served by the host/owner. Ideal for those visiting the valley of temples.

− Shops and restaurants are ~ 300m away, so you better have a car or take a walk. Not an issue at all, and it shouldn't put you off booking this wonderful accommodation.

Very nice and well appointed property located on the beach.

Very pleasant 2-night-stay to enjoy some luxury (higher priced) and to relax.

+ Small B&B with cosy, luxury rooms and declicious breakfast with home made cakes; marmelade and freshly squeezed orange juice from home-grown oranges. Location is great to explore the area and for beach holidays. Street parking availalbe right in front of the B&B (not sure how easy in high season); beach is just across the street (30m). Lovely resto bar and pizzeria next door. Roberta is an excellent, welcoming, caring host with a lovely personality and good tips to explore the area. E-bikes for rent seemed fun (we had a car).

− In the evening, we didn't have hot water for a shower and couldn't get the outside hot tub warmed up. This didn't seem normal and Roberta was going to check this out (maybe due to the coolish evenings in April). No water issues in the morning though.
