Enjoyable but needs a bit of work.

+ The location was good, near the shops. Terrace is huge as is the hot tub. Lots of bedrooms, although we only used one. Bed was very comfortable.

− Lounge needs painting. Cooke has a knob missing so you have no idea what temp you are setting it to. Sofa is dirty. Light in bathroom worked sometimes. Tap in en-suite would not stay on. 50% of sun loungers were broken. Door on fridge/freezer should be on the other side and put something under it to stop it rocking. Otherwise it traps your fingers against the wall!

Private penthouse walking distance from the beach

+ Very easy check in and good communication prior to arrival. Picking up keys at the airport made it that much easier too. Easy to use jacuzzi, comfortable beds, good water pressure. Walking distance from the beach, Carre Four (within a mall), dining places, and the conference area where we attended seminars Friday - Sunday. As we did large grocery runs we took a taxi from just outside the mall for just €5. Massive terrace/balcony with amazing views. Good functioning bbq, plenty of (lounge) chairs. Beach towels provided along with regular towels. Good wifi. We brought a Firestick to stream movies / series so can't comment on TV function outside of that. Multiple extension cords are available too. Plenty of sockets for all chargers.

− The rating of this apartment could very easily go up to a 9 or 10 even if it weren't for the following issues (that being said, we will most likely book it again in April for the next conference and buy some own supplies if these things haven't been sorted out by then): The dishwasher wasn't very good. Had to do 3+ runs each time, even with rinsed off plates that we ended up pre-cleaning. Informed host of non-functional light in one of the bathrooms and never heard back. The filter coffee machine needs replacing asap. Making a large batch (full can) took insanely long and the machine would turn off half-way. The fridge door opens the other way into the kitchen - counterintuitive and kept blocking the pathway. Check out at 10am seems a bit early. 11am like a lot of hotels in the area would be more preferable. There was only 1 kitchen knife and 1 (bread?) knife, making dinner preps for a large group more challenging due to having to share the cutting knife. The oven is missing the temperature knob so it was slight guesswork as to what temperature it was set to but we managed OK. There's plenty of cutlery but cooking utensils are in need of an update / expansion. As there're a lot of separate recycling bins outside in Spain, multiple designated bins should be provided rather than just the one to ensure we can recycle easily and properly. I didn't try it but my friends did : struggled quite a bit with buzzing people in so we would go downstairs to let them in. Would be good to add a how-to to the existing manual if possible.

− The parking is complicated, some of the machines in the kitchen are broken.

Good value for money.

+ Huge, spacious balcony that was great for relaxing.

− Jacuzzi wouldn’t heat up for first few days and bad smell from air conditioning in living room and pipes outside sometimes.

Very enjoyable.

+ The location was good and it was away from the town centre, but there was a very good bus service down at the shopping centre. It took about 30/40min to walk to the town centre along the beach. It would take a younger (under 70) and fitter person less time It was very spacious. The facilities within the accommodation was very good. In a very quiet block. Having your own transport would be an advantage, because of the steel climb from the shopping centre to the accommodation. I would stay there again.

− There was only one set of keys, additional keys would have been good. Apart from minor faults there is nothing seriously had about the accommodation.

Great outdoor space

+ The outside space was larger than expected with lovely views. The apartment was bright, spacious, clean and comfortable. We were very pleased and had a great time there. Large shopping complex only a few minutes walk away (although very steep walk back up so taxi recommended). The pool area was quiet most of the time so we enjoyed that as well as the jacuzzi.

− I think some minor improvements are needed. Simple inexpensive touches like mirrors and a new ironing board (the current one isn't fit for purpose). Also the hob is cracked and the glass in the kitchen door is cracked. The electric tripped a few times - maybe the portable appliances need checked? There was water seeping up from the drain on the terrace which was a bit annoying.

It was enjoyable

+ The property suited our needs and as there was 6 of us there was a good amount of space. The kitchen was well equipped.

− The person who arranged to pick up the keys didn’t appear so we had to rush out at the last minute. The toaster didn’t work and when having showers the water ran over the terrace

+ The hot tub when it worked.it stopped heating on 2nd day .A chap came and looked at it pressed a few buttons and the heating came on the next day. Spacious apartment with nice views.Very clean.proximity to Miramar shopping centre.Plenty furniture.Good ac and heating units

− Location a bit far from centre ie fish alley the harbour and main beaches.difficult access arrangements on arrival. Lack of mirrors. No blind in rear bedroom. Only one bedside table in same room.no scissors.had to book taxis to centre.barking dogs early morning.
