+ Bel hôtel mais pas vraiment le standing d'un hôtel 5* (plutôt 4*) Belles chambres, spa et toute petite piscine sur le toit de l'hôtel avec bar.

− Pas de restaurant convenable dans l'hôtel, juste un endroit pour manger genre brasserie avec peu de choix. Pas de service convenable, surtout au bar du rooftop.

Relaxing and close to markets and parks

+ Location was good with an exceptional breakfast. Rooms were quite and tranquil.

+ The hotel was great, very complete breakfast with variety the staffs in the restaurant were so nice and smiley and helpful. The location was good. The decor nice and room good too

− My daughter has dust allergy and had one of her crisis in the room so that means the room was not as clean or the sheet or mattress.

Good hotel, bad customer service

+ We had a good experience staying at Emperatriz. Family room, 2 15y teens and us. However I’ve forgotten a very special piece. Called the hotel, e mailed, and the only things that I keep receiving are sales offers. At the end, it seems that selling is their only concern.

+ I liked pretty much everything! Thank you for keeping up a high plank in terms of service and accommodation level. In my opinion what could be improved - are just a couple of things: - I could hear very distinctly how adjacent rooms doors were slamming when people were going in and out. Sound insulation is key, but I have never heard a conversation from other rooms and stuff like that. - Bathrooms are the most suffering from water and other impact, sometimes ceiling paint was shedding, not critical, but could be improved. - check-in, I have left the message during the booking process that we arrive at 9-10 o'clock in the morning and it would be great to get us accommodated around that hours. I understand it depends on hotel rooms availability factor and stuff cannot affect it much, but IF something could be improved- is that people flying for 4-5 hours could be accommodated around 12:00, not 14:00-15:00. Apart from that our stay was wonderful, thank you once again!

Disappointed

− I have stayed here many times. This hotel is usually rated a 5 star. However, I was disappointed in the hotel and especially the check in service! At check in, the receptionist was unable to tell me when my room would be available, I said fine, can you whatsapp me, she looked confused and said she wasnt sure and never attempted. My room had been done long before I returned. I thought I checked in when I arrived, I learned she never even checked me in! This is not a 5 star service, the first person to help a guest and is absolutely no help! Service at the bar was absent! A positive was house keeping, nice and helpful. Sadly I will no longer stay here or suggest any other friends and family stay here. This is a disappointment because it is a good location and I used tonlove this hotel.

Great stay in Madrid

+ We stayed at this hotel with our family and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is in an excellent location, very close to the Salamanca district, where you’ll find great cafés, restaurants, and high-end shopping. The hotel itself is clean, elegant, and attracts upscale guests. What made our stay even more enjoyable was the incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful staff, who were always happy to assist us. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and luxurious five-star experience in Madrid.
